Even though it was quite busy inside on 12/17/2025 around 2:30-3ish, I'm so thankful I was able to get Onyx's help. For the first time ever, I was able to participate in the "Bring 5 Back" program and get a free fresh face mask in return. I didn't know how to partake in the program and was honestly a little nervous about it. I had washed my pots out and made them super clean, but I just don't like walking into places like I own them--it's a respect thing for me. I wouldn't walk into someone's home uninvited, and this is their place of work. Onyx was really quick to walk me through the process and made it so easy. The exchange was wonderful, and she was so understanding with me as someone new to the program. Onyx helped me not only figure out what would suit my skin type but also guided me through choosing the perfect one. I'd never tried a fresh face mask before, and she helped me select Coconut Shie. It smells absolutely divine and makes my skin super soft! I came home and couldn't wait--I had to use it before even hopping in the shower. Onyx truly made my day with her exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and genuine care. She gave me blush recommendations from the Sephora brand that she tried and loved because I never tried a peachy blush so I didn't want to splurge too much money. I really liked my experience with her and will probably come to this location more often than my local mall. The one thing I didn't like is the store is a bit smaller than the other Sephora's I've been to and some items are directly facing outward towards the aisle so it can be hard moving around people.

Today I stopped in looking for a light floral fragrance and found a 3.3 oz bottle of Burberry London, along with lotion, two bottles of foaming hand soap, paper plates, and wipes--all for about $53. The prices were excellent. What really impressed me, though, was the store itself. Joe has been serving the South Philly community through Longo's for 60 years, and it shows. Their fragrance selection rivals department stores, with everything from current favorites to nostalgic classics. They also carry household essentials, cosmetics, paper goods, and even delicious biscotti and other treats. It's the kind of neighborhood store where you never know what great find you'll come across. Chain stores definitely have their place, but there's something special about supporting a family-owned business that's been serving the community for 60 years.
