I have only visited this store in Mississauga a few times. I didn't realize that STC had one, so I dropped by to check it out. This store has a lot of cute and practical Japanese and Korean merchandise. It appealed to me. I especially like when you get a product that is both cute and practical. For instance, you could get Angie the booklight. Angie happens to be a purple anglerfish that allows you to read in darker areas. I also liked a bacon mousepad. It was adorable! There were beauty products, such as eyeshadow, hairbands, and facial masks. The prices were pretty good considering the assortment of shades that you got in the former. The selection of hairbands was limited. The facial mask varieties were excellent. This store had a lot of plushies. You can get boba ones in a variety of colours. They were cute and sweet. It also had the cutest PopSockets. The characters on them were rather large, so it may not appeal to everyone. I ended up getting a purple boba tumbler that was heavily discounted. The fact that it had a diamond-cut lid and was purple drew me in to buying it. The price was also right. I had a friendly woman at the checkout. She advised that sale items were final, so exchanges or refunds weren't allowed. I understood this policy, as I had checked that my tumbler was in good shape before I committed to buying it. I paid with a debit card. All went well. My tumbler is pretty cool. It's cute and it keeps cold drinks cold for many hours. I enjoyed shopping at this store. It's deadly if you like cute, practical items. I may need to return and get that bacon mousepad because it's so adorable. (344)

Reason: on my exit after paying all my purchases, I showed my receipt and shopping bag to the security guard. Without providing any reason, he asked me to open my personal hand bag for him to search. I found that was discriminative as he didn't search other customers who exited previously. And, other security guard who also check customers receipt didn't search any customers personal bag. I felt insulted, humiliated and angry. Please don't shop there if you don't want to get insulted and humiliated.

The store in Sherway is interesting, if you remove the actual products, it reminds me of the Canadian super popular brand Ordinary. Clean white subway tiles with strong black lines accenting the store with the nice warmth of wood tables ... they're a nice frame for the rainbow explosion in their soaps, bars, and everything else. Their products are ... VIVID. Like someone on Instagram who just jacked up the contrast to 200%. If Unicorns did exist, it would exclusively shop here for their skincare. I find it so fun to just look around. It feels like a candy store almost. As mentioned, service here is really sweet and nice. No judgement even if you look out of place (ahem ... me). The young ladies are all very knowledgeable and have a shared enthusiasm for what they love. The also listen really well to figure out what you could possible like. There's an immediate gushing while explaining any product. While talking to the staff, I realize that a lot of other places are so jaded... these people actually like their store! As for the products, its a really interesting spin... locally made in Toronto, the products are vegetarian friendly and do not test on animals. They believe in cruelty free. They also try to use as little preservatives and are 'fresh' with their face masks, creams, ... everything. They do sell everything from shampoo to foot cream. So head to toe... they've got you covered. I would say one of the other defining notes of LUSH is their scents... it's bold, strong, and cute. They do have some more 'mature' scents that are more nuanced with spices but a lot of their best sellers are fruity and sweet. With my white bathroom, I was really concerned of staining the grout or anything with the neon shades and so I did the vanilla thing... literally. I got the vanilla scented butterball bath bomb. Butterball bath bomb - I know.. of all the things to buy in LUSH, butterball is the most benign and vanilla looking thing in there. It's a large white round golf ball. No sparkles, no swirls, no neon colours... just a nice light vanilla scent. I'm not a bather necessarily but when it comes to relaxing, i could be persuaded to do this. This is not just for scents, but the actual bathbomb has cocoa butter in it. Just drop the thing in (if you have a smaller bath tub supposedly you can only use half) and watch it fizzle and dissolve. With my winter skin, i'm heading into lizard territory... so I was hoping this would help kick start my skin back into humanity. I would say this was really lovely to smell but did it change my skin noticeably? I would say perhaps but it's definitely would be hard to do unless you do this daily. I'm not a daily bather so maybe this isnt just for me BUT I do love the rounded vanilla scent. 3.5/5 I'm sure there are tons of other items here you can try to find the perfect unicorn for you... definitely a fun place and one that I would say is a good place even for a nice gift to brighten (literally) someone's day.

Do i really look like that up close?! Ughh...i thought I plucked my eyebrows pretty decently. Well oh my..not even close to a decent job! I ran all the way to the counter to pay for my mew best friend. I remember they used to have a brow bar where you could get your brows done but I don't recall seeing it this time. Murale does carry a lot of new brands I don't see anywhere else so if you are into trying new products, Murale would not be a bad stop. Later in the night, I went on their website and checked out all the products they carry - that is a good start to see if the store carries your particular brand. The ONE thing I love, of course, is the fact that you can redeem your Optimum points, and because some of the products here range $200-$300, it would be great to save up all your points and splurge here. Not sure if it would be a good idea, but Murale does a lot of makeup sessions, and I have always wanted to try the Chanel seminar. This is a place I wouldn't come out of my way, but it is nice to drop in when in the area. This store carries prepackaged products and also has a refill station where you purchase as much as you require. Either bring in your own container or put down a returnable deposit for jar refills. Some of the products that they sell include hair and body soap bars, natural loofahs, body butters and oils, toothpaste, bamboo toothbrushes, essential oils, laundry detergent, soap nuts, dryer balls, reusable sandwich and storage bags, lunch boxes, block dish soap, dish brushes, straws (stainless steel, silicone, glass and bamboo), mason jar accessories (lids, soap pumps, tea infusers), and makeup remover pads. The employee working there was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions and provide suggestions. Near the front of the store there's 3 bins/boxes for recycling. The larger one is for dropping off clean plastic takeout containers (with the number 5 on the bottom). These containers are reused and taken to a recycler accepting black plastic when they are no longer of any use. There isn't a parking lot but there is some street parking in front of the store.
