An absolutely delightful assistant is charming and helpful, thoroughly searching the draws AND the back of the store, and usually finding what I am looking for. The other assistant, much younger-- not so much. Her first response is always "if it's not on the shelf we don't have it." If asked to check the drawer, she pretends to do so, reluctantly, for about 10 seconds before triumphantly announcing " this Sephora does not carry that product." Without having encountered that aptitude, I would have given 5 stars.

I've been in many Ulta's and they are usually brimming with staff and support. Maybe it was because it was early evening but it shouldn't matter. I was really excited to try out my fragrances but then I think the package was stolen! I let The Fragrance Shop know and they sent out another package so FIVE STARS for customer service! I decided to have the package shipped to my office instead and these perfumes smell AMAZING! Santal 33 was great. I am IN LOOOOOOVE with White Tea, which smells just like Bulgari/Bvlgari "au the blanc" which is a very expensive and hard to find unisex perfume. I have yet to try the other two samples I got in the mail, but I will be ordering more samples and ordering a larger bottle or spritzer of White Tea. Also, I highly recommend trying perfume oils. You can find it, and many other big-box stores like Best Buy and REI, at Renaissance Center. Renaissance Center is the busy shopping center across the street from The Streets at Southpoint shopping mall. It's conveniently located just off I-40 exit 276 (Fayetteville Road). My wife can't remember if she's been to this Ulta before. During this visit, she picked up a Wet Brush Pro Shine Enhancer for $17.99 and a five-pack of invisibobble for $10.00. The total local sales tax was 7.5%. Jennifer checked us out and she was great. Polite service with a smile. My wife is a member of Ultamate Rewards. It's free. At checkout, all you have to do is tell the cashier your phone number (tied to your rewards account). Like other loyalty programs, the more you spend at Ulta, the more you get back in discounts. I used the men's room by the salon. It was clean, but out of paper towels.
