I stopped in here with my husband yesterday, and I'm still suffering the effects. Lol. First off, it annoys me that The Body Shop closed and this is the only alternative at Valley River Center. But I thought I would give it another try. I went in for lotion. There was an employee by the door who greeted us. She was helpful, and told us about sales bins. So I was happy there. The store was clean and well stocked, which I appreciate. The biggest problem is still the migraine-inducing lights. They are horrible, and the entire cash registers are flooded with them, all pointed straight at you as you stand there. I actually put my sunglasses on inside the store because I couldn't handle the lights. It was horrible. Would I return? Not in the foreseeable future. I literally can't handle the bright lights in the store. I'll skip this store and order online from The Body Shop instead. It's a lot easier. Review 6 of 2025. read more

I've shopped at this location a lot since it's the only one in town. The prices have gone up but that's a corporate decision and individual stores have no say over that. The employees who work here are incredibly friendly and can be a bit pushy at times. They are very knowledgeable about all of the different scents, though. The store is well-stocked regularly. It does get super hot when there are a lot of people in there, and there isn't great cell signal so it can be hard to pull up coupons on your phone when you're checking out. I definitely recommend pulling up your coupons and screenshotting the barcodes ahead of time if you want to be sure you can use them when you get to the register. read more

Short: Friendly staff who are overly happy to help and usually decently stocked up store. Many free smells and testers to try out. Great selection and well organized, just good luck trying to spend less than 30 mins inside! Visited end of June '22. I had a previous number of very negative visits at Bath & Body Works (not this location) over the years, which has caused me to have "PTSD".. Since then, my only visits to one are quarterly, due to my Mother loving their white barn wicked huge candles (usually cost about $26-35/each). Bath and Body Works, does have great displays showcasing their products and they really do stack all of them! I was greeted at the very front to try some hand sanitizer, which I liked it was scented and good for safety/health reasons. Then, I was offered by the employee if I needed a basket or any help with looking for a smell. I hastily made my way to the other portion of the store with the candles. Luckily, My Mother has her typical scents she enjoys, so I grabbed some of those to "gift" to her (she hates surprises -since I was going to the mall, she asked me to get some; only reason I visit). Eventually, I started to look and smell around the different candles, like their new seasonal ones. I was approached by another employee, if I needed help looking for a scent. Shortly after, I went back to the other side, with the fragrance mists, soaps, and lotions [etc..]. I was approached again by another employee, however, this time, much more quickly. A simple, "finding everything good?". I must admit, I do love they have sinks to test out their foaming hand soap (usually about $7/each, unless on sale for about $5/each). I smelled a handful of testers and left with a few more things I didn't know I needed. Along with the candles I was mission-sent on purchasing. Checking out was sort of quick and there are always 2 registers open. The lines are always not so clear, but they do have 4 shelved cabinets by the check out with little hand sanitizers and other beauty scented minis, that you didn't know you suddenly needed. Overall, I would say this isn't a horrible Bath & Body Works. Workers are very friendly, happy to help you constantly, plenty of testers to smell around, hand soaps to even try out too! Confusing check-out lane with all the little hand sanitizers you didn't need! Like that flamingo one that's bright pink! I would say the typical Bath & Body Works experience. read more

I went into the store with an odd request, I was in search of more tips for my body sprays which had broken off! Though they did not have more plastic spray bottle tips, they allowed me to exchange them for something new and literally encouraged me to enjoy myself and find something new that I love. I absolutely LOVE Bath and Body Works. However, this particular store is terrible. I came in today to purchase two 3-Wick-Candles. I simply wanted to smell a few until I picked them out and then leave. Two different sales girls were hounding me the entire time, not just asking, "Can I help you find anything?" but BRINGING me candles to smell and trying to get me to talk to them like we're best friends. I'm sorry, but this "sales tactic" is actually incredibly rude and pushy! I just wanted to shop in peace! These girls literally don't let you have one moment to yourself! Even though I had two candles picked out and I was ready to go, on my way up to the counter, one of the girls asked me if I have a coupon and I said no. I just wanted to check out and leave. She asked me if I was signed up to their emails so I could GET the coupon (mind you, this girl was just a random ass sales clerk. She wasn't my cashier! I wasn't even in the line to checkout yet!!!). I said yes, but I really just wanted to check out so it didn't matter. Then she asked me if I had my phone with me so I could check my email and pull up a coupon. NO. I JUST WANT TO CHECK OUT AND LEAVE. I got so fed up with her relentlessly bothering me that I handed her the two candles and told her I changed my mind. I have worked in retail for six years. I understand sales tactics. However, what the girls in this store do is nothing but obnoxious. Really uncomfortable shopping experience. I will not be returning to this store again. read more

I come in here every few months after my stock of soaps run out. I would have to agree with the rest of the yelpers. The sales associates can be annoying, and seem a little pushy at times. I am the type of shopper that likes to go in, and out of this type of store. I know what I am looking for, and if I need help I usually ask. I hate being hounded. Last time I came in here was last week, there was a new guy he was the most annoying. He seemed to follow me around the store as I was grabbing antibacterial soaps for my house and ask if I am buying them as gifts! Now I realize I did have 12, but it was buy 6 for $24. I like to stock up. I can see if I was looking at candles, body sprays, or more personal items but I just found it odd that he asked about something like this that seemed more of a house hold item. But hey that is just me I guess! I cringe on days when I have to go here! Besides it drive me nuts when they ask if they can have my email addy for extra coupon... I just say oh, what's that? I don't have one!! No thank you, I don't need them filling up my email daily, like the rest of the junk mail! read more

Nick, Michael and Justin all rock. They are all so friendly and make my shopping experience that much better! They are always sharing in my enthusiasm with all of the new candle releases and are so fun to talk with about new products. I have been in the store when none of them were working and my experience has not been great. Keep them around!!! I will continue to shop there specifically for the good customer service that they provide. They make me feel welcome in their store and they make me feel like they are glad to see me in their store. read more

Walked into the White Barn candle store at this bath and body works on an impulse. Never heard of this store and thought I'd get a candle for my fiancee. It was Veterans Day and apparently they were having a sale. I picked out a candle and got in line at the counter to pay for it and a sales associate walked up to me and said to go into the bath and body works to pay. I walked next door and there was a line of 20 people. I went back and got in line behind the one person being helped at the counter in White Barn then I was told the register wasn't open and I had to go pay next door. Guess what, my impulse buy immediately became an impulse to leave. I put down the candle and left. Will never go there again. First impulses are big in sales folks. If you are going to have a sale on a Friday holiday staff appropriately. read more

I have to just say, I searched the whole store and there were NO Aquarius candles in their zodiac section. Not pleased!

Let me say I LOVE their soaps! LOVE, LOVE LOVE them but NOT this store! When I went in a couple of weeks ago, I went in for ONE kind of item, Warm Vanilla Sugar. I am highly sensitive to scents and I told the sale lady who just wouldn't let me alone that fact. Then she followed me around the store almost begging me to come over to the sink and wash my hands (after I had put some lotion on to!). While it was irritating I thought FINE! Lets just get this over with! So she brought me over to the sink and procedded to show me just about ALL the soaps! Not only did they smell icky I was getting a headache so I started to walk away saying that I wanted a lotion for work. She dragged me up to the front where the coconut and shea butter is and procedded to slather on a huge glop of it. I was rubbing it off on my jeans there was so much! All in all I only go in there for Christmas gifts and when i need soap! And THAT sometimes feels like to much, when they try and sell you EVERYTHING in the store and follow you around! read more

I love bath and body works and their products, always have. I love also how they have men's products as well. How ever the last few times I've gone in I've found myself hiding from the employees and not getting a chance to look around as I'd like to. I feel bombarded by the employees trying to sell me all the product they can. I get that some people like to have someone there to help them however I'm the type of person who would rather ask someone if I had a question. They've definitely lost a lot of my business over the last few months because of that. I feel like I don't end up getting a choice because they just chose everything for me. read more
