It's a Samsung - so it's not a "normal" charger. My hubs found a phone store 1.5 miles away... but before heading out to walk there, we asked the lovely folks at the front desk if there was some place closer. Lo and behold, Sassy Kitchen and Gifts was quite literally, right outside the back door ;-) While our purpose was the phone charger - we were giggling with delight with all the COOLEST stuff that Sassy's has! Yes, the phone charger - she had one that is a 3-in-1 so I can charge EVERYTHING I own for the foreseeable future (it now lives in my purse 24/7). But, we also got a rhinestone wine baseball hat, an artsy ceramic wine stopper, lip tints inside mini wine bottles... and if my budget wasn't focused on buying local Willamette Valley wine, I would have bought TONS more stuff. Sassy's had candles with the funniest sayings, wine tumblers with more funny sayings, TONS of gifts for BRIDES and wedding presents, T-shirts galore that were clever and reflected the Eugene area, candies, treats, items for the pets in your life... I could go on all day. Sassy's was for sure one of our BEST finds in Eugene! And, just in case - I don't want you to miss it! - it's "in" the 5th Street Public Market but on the outside corner and not in the inside middle. It's on the corner. Walk towards The Gordon Hotel, stop before you enter, look right, and you'll see the cute Sassy's sign - poof! The owner assured me I'd get the order in time, so I placed my order with the standard flat shipping fee and hoped for the best. The very next morning I opened my front door to find the candles already delivered and waiting on my mat. I'm stunned and impressed. I can only assume the owner paid out of pocket for overnight shipping, and I'm so very grateful to already have all my gifts in hand so I can take my time wrapping them. I've been…read morebuying from this web-based business for a couple of years, and love their products AND their prices. The Barth's (who own the business) make really good, consistent products, and their prices are lower than any other supplier I've found. For example, they have an oversized votive that fits most votive holders and burns longer. The burn time estimates on their web site are accurate; you really get 20 hours out of a large votive. They also make tea light replacements without the little metal or plastic cups, so you can reuse your tea light holders. Candles arrive nicely wrapped, well-packed, shipped by priority US mail. I got ours in three days. We burn a lot of votives and tea lights, and after years of experience, have switched completely to beeswax because it is a green product, and because it burns longer and cleaner than any other kind of candle. This is the most cost-effective and ecologically sensitive source I've found for candle lighting anywhere in the US.

Lol…read more First off, it annoys me that The Body Shop closed and this is the only alternative at Valley River Center. But I thought I would give it another try. I went in for lotion. There was an employee by the door who greeted us. She was helpful, and told us about sales bins. So I was happy there. The store was clean and well stocked, which I appreciate. The biggest problem is still the migraine-inducing lights. They are horrible, and the entire cash registers are flooded with them, all pointed straight at you as you stand there. I actually put my sunglasses on inside the store because I couldn't handle the lights. It was horrible. Would I return? Not in the foreseeable future. I literally can't handle the bright lights in the store. I'll skip this store and order online from The Body Shop instead. It's a lot easier. Review 6 of 2025.

The employees who work here are incredibly friendly and can be a bit pushy at times. They are very knowledgeable about all of the different scents, though. The store is well-stocked regularly. It does get super hot when there are a lot of people in there, and there isn't great cell signal so it can be hard to pull up coupons on your phone when you're checking out. I definitely recommend pulling up your coupons and screenshotting the barcodes ahead of time if you want to be sure you can use them when you get to the register.

Be sure to visit their sister shop, Femme Fatale, down the street; it's a darker counterpart to Bohemian Candle's white witch vibe.

It's a very unique store offering small gifts, air plants, candles, bracelets and other misc items. It's very new and clean. The candles smell wonderful. You can buy small trial sizes. I didn't take a picture of the teakwood soy candle that we had but it smelled amazing. The little office has turned into a small plant room that has pots, and succulents (Gro Florence). Stop in, you won't be sorry. Neat store and GREAT customer service. My receipt said Jeremy but I thought it was the store owner (Austen?). We will stop by the next time we're in town.

There candles smell good, but I did not purchase one because I am filled to the brim with candles, it's also summer time and burning a candle would be crazy. I will be coming back during Thanksgiving and purchase one and give it a try. Their website says that Our Gel candles burn 2-3 times longer than traditional wax candles. Interesting!
