Came here to destress after work and so glad I did. I needed to return a damaged soap holder which luckily wasn't an issue and took advantage of the soap sale and used some of my rewards. The staff was so friendly. I took home some new seasonal candles and also got some of the new Milk Bar items. read more

Dear Bath and Bodyworks, This is not an in store complaint. But I don't know where else to send this. I live in Madera and order online. Maybe my product comes from you maybe it doesn't. I don't really know. I love your products. Really. I do. I've ordered for years. This time it was Wallflower refills. I've had trouble with this problem before and I just keep letting it go because that's just me. But this time I don't want to. I ordered 6. One cap, on one Wallflower wasn't tightened and everything was covered in Lilac. You are trying a bit harder to package your products well. I've noticed. But really, the lids should be on tight. I love this location. I always know what I want so it makes everything easy. There was a buy 3 get 3 free on everything during Black Friday. I purchased hand sanitizers and got a free body lotion. The coupon I used was "Get a free body care item worth up to $18.95 with a $10 purchase" I purchased my items online and picked them up in the store. read more

I usually come here when I want to give gifts to people. I usually go straight to the candle section lol I was helped by FAITH, and she was AMAZIN!!! I love to recognize staff members when they do an excellent job, because I know great staff is hard to find! Faith was friendly, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, informing, sweet, enthusiastic about your products, scents and deals, and honestly I decided to purchase the candles because she was so wonderful! This store has THEE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Went there to get my birthday gift (a mini spray) and the associate and manager insisted I already used my coupon and that I could contact customer service, so I did. Customer Service said that the coupon had not been used and was still active, but when I told (and showed the chat to the manager), she still wanted to argue saying customer service didn't look right and didn't know what they were doing. Overall, I was basically called a liar and embarrassed in front of other customers in the store for a lil mini spray. I left the store in tears and I still didn't receive a birthday gift because this store would rather have their messily 50 cent product over customers. This wasn't the first time I had a been treated rudely either! The time before that I went in to exchange an online order and the employee at the door told me that the store policy was different from that online and I could contact customer service if I had a problem with it. When I asked if they had the number on file, he told me I could Google it. Twice I've been to this store and received up right RUDENESS. Although this store is near my house I'd rather drive further to the mall where the customer service is better and when they tell you to contact customer service it's for a reason. Not so they can argue with what customer service said. My suggestion GO TO ANOTHER BATH AND BODY!! Unless you like being talked down to and treated as a criminal upon arrival. read more

Went to the store on Friday because they were having their wonderful buy one get one free candle sale. The store was super clean and well stocked, they had every sent candle that I wanted to purchase. I especially love when they have a buy one get one free there's no limit to how many you can purchase. There was a max capacity in the store for safety precautions and when the store hit max capacity you did have to wait outside. Luckily the people in the store shopping we're not lollygagging and taking their sweet time, they were in and out fast I was only waiting outside for about 10 minutes. Once I did get in the store the employees were super nice and helpful. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes and that includes smelling different candles and waiting in line to be checked out. read more

I went to pick up a few items (candles and lotion) and was helped out tremendously by many of the staff to find a candle with a very specific essential oil...with the staff's help we found what we needed. Visited the store today 8/30/21 just around noon. It appeared that North entrance double doors were locked. Myself and two other ladies tried the doors couldn't understand why they were locked. I mean they had a canopy set up over the entrance. We then noticed the doors just south of that entrance were wide open with an employee handing out baskets if needed. I mean it would have been nice if they had a note on the doors pointing us in the proper direction. The store is always clean and set up nicely. Staff on the floor is super helpful. Check out was okay. I had purchased a few foaming hand soaps and paid with two gift cards. One card had a remaining amount on it from a past purchase and the other was a $100 gift card. So I hand the young lady the first card and she says the remaining balance is $47.95. So I hand her the $100 gift card. She does her thing at the register. Packs the soaps, hands me the bags and says thank you. I said: "Hey what about the card? " She says to me: "oh you want them back." I said that one has a balance on it. She says: "oh you want a receipt" Press that button. I said: "I want my gift card back and tell me the remaining balance on it." I don't understand why you would keep it. So she writes the balance down on the gift card holder. And there was a receipt already in the bag. My question is this - Why would you keep the gift card with a considerable balance on it? I'm gladly giving five stars to this location. I was asked if I needed help with anything probably 10 times on my visit. The store smells like we all wish our house's smelled like, fresh and comforting. The store was nice and clean. There where plenty of employees to help customers and there is two hand washing stations with popular soaps and lotions to try. I think I wash my hands at every Bath & Body, the soaps are that good. You can always catch a sale going on and with coupons provided by Bath & Body you can always feel like your getting a good deal on great products like bath soap (mens & womens), hand soaps, aromatherapy items, candles, decorative items and so much more. Most items are guaranteed too. Better yet this location is a bit more stocked with less customer traffic.. read more

Long time customer but first time shopper at this particular store. Friday (12/17/21) evening my sister and I stopped in for some last minute stocking stuffers. As customary with this company we were greeted at the front, which is always a nice touch, and we began to browse. Although this was a fairly busy time, staff members would still check in with us and offer their assistance. This was particularly helpful when we were unable to reach some candles we were interested in. I think we ask the employee to retrieve every different scent of candle on the top shelf and she was so patient and bubbly, it was as if she didn't have a single other task she needed to accomplish! Which was greatly appreciated because as I said, the store was fairly busy. We choose one candle from the top shelf but we were still finding it hard to replace the ever elusive, sold out, "Flannel" candle. But then our savior appeared..."Carla" (Baam Baam Baaaaaaam) I believe her name was Carla but I'm not certain. Her name definitely started with the letter "C". Once she learned of our troubling secret and reason for our inability to make a decision on a candle scent, she bravely entered the realm of the back room. And when she returned, with her tattered uniform (it was not at all tattered) and the look of pure awesomeness, she held in her hands not one, but TWO, of the "Flannel" scented 3 wicked candles! Yes! The super sized ones! It doesn't stop there! "Carla" then used her crafty, magical spell casting, up-sales pitch to convince us both to purchase a $40 gift box with our individual purchases! The forces were just too great and we were compelled to it. We left the store with roughly $400 worth of purchased merchandise, but most importantly, we left with a "Flannel" scented candle for each of us. This wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the brave efforts of "Carla" and her staff that day. read more
