Every time I have visited this particular shop the staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. Recently they directed me right away to the particular cards I was looking for. They always give good direction. It's always clean and well organized. I love the choice of options that they have. I like that they carry a lot of different scents of Yankee Candles and the plugins that way I don't have to travel all the way to the mall. I love that they really do have cards for every occasion. In particular I was looking for a Christmas card for my mail lady and they had a ton of options. I would definitely recommend this shop to others.

I first encountered this store at their York location. I love their brand of lip smackers and…read moresoap. I was disappointed when they only had lavender or peppermint lip balm. I know they make other scents like coconut. They seemed to have a lot of "commercial" items such as book bags, stuffies, rubber ducks and bath/body items from other brands. The thing that captivated me originally about this shop at the York location was that it wasn't commercialized. You could walk in and get a handmade item making it a unique gift. There is a very large selection of balm bombs and fuzzies in the center of the store. The left side does have an assortment of their soap. The right wall was all crystals, tarot sets, a brand of bath and body items called Badger. Also other trinkets. The back had a few more soaps with a mix of trinkets. I had to ask about the lip balm and no wonder I didn't see it because it was a small basket with maybe 5 total and no variety like I remembered. I know it's different to mute the scents but it was so overwhelming that I had a hard time differentiating the soaps I was trying to smell from the overall scent of everything else. I've been to other stores like Lush at park City and don't remember having that over powering perfume smell. It smells good but just hard to smell anything in particular. This is such a great shop but I felt like the inventory at this location needs a refresh.

Imagine…read moremy surprise when I came upon THIS Sunrise Soap locations at random on a visit to Gettysburg! I'm a fan of the company's bath bombs and soaps -- they come in so many subtle scents that both me and my daughter enjoy. I have skin sensitivities, and whatever mix of oils and fragrance they use are enjoyable without causing me to break out or worse. The staff here were friendly and helpful, but the selection is much more limited than what I was used to seeing at the large Lancaster location. I found several bath bombs for myself (LOVE the Purple Rain, blackberry vanilla, lime verbana, Twilight woods, and rose) and a few small bath bombs to take home for my daughter.
