Dane suggested me very enthusiastically and patiently waited for me to choose the color (yeah, I must say that this is one of the nail salons with many beautiful colors and you will spend a lot of time deciding). I told him that I wanted my nails to be durable and sparkly, he suggested I do deep then paint a cat eye, and then he saw that my hands were too empty so l asked him to do a freestyle drawing and he did not disappoint! My pedicure was just mediocre, the water was very cold, I wish that they would've offered to raise the water temp since the salon doesn't have heat. My nails were a lot more expensive though than I thought. I didn't realize they charged more for gel paint until the very end and it was $50 more than my home salon and I get the same gel paint there as well. Other than those few instances, everything else was good and I would go here again. The girls were fun to chat with and had a nice ambience.

We ended up waiting about 20 minutes and they started my pedicure 15 minutes before my mom's. This kind of worked out because I got regular nail polish and she got gel and it allowed time for my polish to dry. The awesome: The confusion and wait was well worth it. My mom ALWAYS complains about her pedicure. She did not have one complaint. She said her nail pedicure was perfect. My pedicure was excellent too. Just the right amount of time. The massage was wonderful. The coconut scent reminded me of the beach. The nail tech was super nice. My nails are a nice shape. It was so relaxing.

Back story: I was 7 min late to my appointment because of the cluster of the Mount Rose Ave exit. I drove an hour to this spa to get a prenatal massage at the recommendation of a friend who had just had one. I specifically came here because they were the only spa that said they would do a belly-lying prenatal massage with a special pillow. Once I arrived, the receptionist said that I wouldn't be able to have the full hour massage because there was an appointment after mine. I agreed and said that is totally fine, I completely understand. She also said that I wouldn't be charged the full price for the massage because of this. Once the massage therapist escorted me to the room, she stated the massage would be about 30 minutes. I again stated that was fine and I completely understand and she can do what she needs to stay on time. Upon my interview prior to the massage, she stated that I would be in a side lying position. This was a huge disappointment since I specifically came to this spa to NOT do that position. I went along with it since I was already there. She also stated it wasn't going to be like a regular massage. She was right. Again, disappointed that it was basically like rubbing oil on my body. Upon checking out, the receptionist goes to ring me up, and asked me how long it was. I stated 30 minutes because that's what the massage therapist told me it was going to be. There was no 30 minute massage option for check out. She goes to ask the massage therapist who then tells her it's 45 minutes and that counts for the full time. When the receptionist stated this, I said that didn't seem right (my phone timer said 33 minutes when I stopped it to change. Yes I time people because I don't trust them for this exact reason) so she called her manage. She told her manager that I was massaged for 45 minutes. I was not. And they told me that I had to pay the full price. So not only did they charge me full price for a 30 min massage, I didn't even get the massage I wanted. How manipulative to tell a customer one thing, and then change that at the last minute. I left a tip for 30 minutes of work, specifically for this reason. Will not be returning since they told me over the phone when I booked the appointment that they could accommodate a belly lying prenatal massage, and because of their manipulative charging of prices after a partially rendered service.

I had a very bad experience here today with Le. The tip got glued to my skin and it is ripping my…read moreskin as it pulls off. The acrylic looks grown out. The polish job is sloppy. She clipped off a ton of skin, a lot of which was not dead, during my pedicure... and it hurt. I had a gift certificate, thankfully, as I would not have paid out of pocket for this quality. I will try again with Vince, who I normally go to and who is amazing (why I gave 3 stars and not 1 for today). I'll update my review if I have more good experiences because I really really loved this place until today's awful mani/pedi.
