Usually I review restaurants, but had a pretty good experience at Lush at Somerset…read more The service was pretty good, as the lady was explaining the variety of products they offer, the most popular ones, and which products are more suited for what purpose. I smelled a lot of different types of soaps, lotions, massage bars, powders. They have a lot of different samples that you can try for free at various sinks. The store was well organized. It was clean. The service was good. The advertisements and marketing were convincing lol. I purchased the massage bar that helps with relaxation and sleep, and will try it out. The massage bar pictured was $15.

About four Christmas's ago someone got me this soap from Lush and it's been smooth sailing since then. Before I got the gift I must've walked by a million times in Somerset Mall but never went inside, but you will know when you're close because the smell is STRONG. Although everything smells very good, I can imagine it being a bit overbearing for the staff that work there since the smells are all so potent but either way onto the soap. I am just going to go out on a limb and say that the "Honey I Washed The Kids" is their best soap. It's apparently one of their best sellers, and it's what I've rebought over the years. It smells like( you guessed it again) honey, which I really do like. In addition I got a body butter scrubee for a friend. The sales associate was probably thinking "yeah, sure a friend". Now their thing is that all their products are handmade, natural, and made for your skin, hair, ect.. but they can get kinda pricey. It mainly depends on what size cut of soap you want and or what size container you decide to buy. But they're tons of different scents to choose from. If you can stomach the numerous smells I say go inside and let the sales associates test out a few things as they coarse you into getting something.

Lush - Soap that you can use in shower to help you sleep better. I will try washing my face before bed to see if it works.

Simply designed, their products look elegant and smell and feel divine on your skin. They do all the usual hand creams, moisturisers and skincare products you'd expect as well as luxury bath and body products like bath salts, body scrubs, oils, sprays and rubs. The names are a little fancy pants - Ambrusca, Cedrus and Desert Bloom - but I've yet to smell something I didn't love. If you have a partner or friend whose having troubles unwinding, they also do a small range of sleep inducing room aroma rockers, temple soothers and bathing elixirs. Be warned though, the prices are on the steep side with a pot of warming ginger and eucalyptus body scrub costing just under £30 and their incredible White Mulberry candle costing a whopping £49. I know it burns for 80 hours and is an incredible fusion of green team camomille and ylang ylang but I guess I'll have to wait til I check in somewhere fabulous!

Being a man, I am more interested in the men's side of things here and the range is pretty impressive. They have various body washes, moisturisers and hair products, as well as "lip savers", which I had never heard of until I went to Molton Brown - I really didn't' know my lips were in danger, but apparently so! The products on offer are a little pricier than some of the competition, so I would recommend either buying/asking for them as gifts. Sometimes you have to wonder exactly how much your lips need saving when you're looking at £10 a pop for this wünder cream. The presentation and packaging is pretty special though, so you most certainly won't look stingy by offering Molton Brown products as gifts to the man in your life. And ladies, there's also a great range for you, so go check it out for yourselves.

First of all, the customer service at this location is phenomenal. They really spend time answering any questions that you may have and offer free samples of anything you'd be interested in trying. They also have many testers throughout the store. They strive to give you the best experience possible with their products. They sincerely want you to be happy with what you buy. Every staff member has been extremely knowledgeable and just so willing to help. The products speak for themselves. I have loved everything that I have purchased thus far. I have tried 8 different products. One product was given to me as a free sample on my first visit and I liked it so much that I purchased a full bar on my second trip. Everyone around me is always asking me what I am wearing or what shampoo I use and I get excited to tell them about Lush and their amazing products. Lastly, but equally as important as customer service and product efficacy, is their ethical company practice. They do not test on animals (a biggie for me) and the ingredients are all natural and extremely fresh. Being that many of their products are solids, there is minimal packaging involved. Do yourself a favor and go in for a visit. You will not be disappointed.
