This is a review for one of the cashiers at the store. She tried to short me $10 in change because she didn't pay attention to the cash I handed her. I purposely gave cash and coins to make the change back $10.10. Total was $36.47, I handed her $46.57, two 20's, a 5, a 1, and 57 cents. She rung it up as $36.57 and tried to only give me 10 cents back. After I corrected her about it, she became defensive. I told her exactly what I handed her (bills and coins), and she grudgingly pulled out her calculator. At some point she decided to stop questioning it, and handed me the $10 in a very reluctant manner. It's not my fault she can't pay attention to the cash handed to her. There is no survey on my receipt, so short of contacting head office, this is all I can do I guess. read more

Deceptive ad for 'buy three, get three free' - it says free items must be of equal or lesser value. So I bought two of each item. Well when they ring it up, they charge you for the 3 MOST expensive items. Then I get a shoulder shrug that they cant do anything about it. I should of walked away, hate that feeling of being duped. I hadn't been in here since they redesigned the midsection. It looks really nice inside now, but the customer service has really gone down. I am in between needing refills for my wallflowers but received the mailer a couple of weeks ago with coupons, one of which was for a free fun size item. When I went to checkout with my free item, the person at checkout (who looked and acted like a manager) made a face and snarkily reminded me that I needed to "make purchases in order to keep receiving 'these' in the mail." I thought this was a bit rude, as I've obviously been making purchases if I'm receiving their monthly coupons. This type of attitude in store will push me to shop online in the future to avoid this particular Bath and Body Works location. What a disappointment! read more

There were a lot of employees around to check up on guests but we didn't need much help once we were able to understand how to best take advantage of the sales! We bought 4 for $20 hand soaps along with buy 3 get 3 free signature items, and we used the mobile Retailmenot app for an additional 20% off! I have been shopping at Bath and Body Works since I was in middle school. I have fond memories of using the purse-sized lotions at school. Candy apple, warm vanilla sugar, coconut lime verbena. Yeah, I have issues. They rotate scents in and out so when the bring back a scent that has been discontinued it can be very exciting. Did I mention I have a lotion problem? Keep me out of this store unless you want to see me go crazy. I love my lotions and potions! My favorite scents are the True Blue Monoi Oil and Sensual Amber. Their Shea Cashmere and aromatherapy lines are very nice. I like their candles, too. They last forever. They have great sales! Employees are always helpful and friendly. read more

Jenny was especially helpful today when I was looking for a newer lotion in a smaller size. I was on a mission for all things vanilla for a Xmas present and she made sure to help me find so many goodies without going over my budget. Most of the time the associates can be pushy with the buying the newer items, but Jenny wasn't at all. I hope she isn't just a holiday hire because when I return and need help, she will be the only employee I will seek out. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Madagascar Vanilla and Caribbean Escape scents for women. I shop here once a year, the day after Christmas. Lotions are so inexpensive and you can stock up for a year. I love the semi-annual sale. It was quite busy when I walked in but there was plenty of staff around to keep things organized and help people. I bought about 30 bottles of lotions and still stayed under $100! The girl at the counter was really helpful during check out. I told her that if anything did not ring up at 75% off I didn't want to buy it. About 5 bottles rang up at only 50% but I wanted to replace them. I thought I would have to pay and get in the long line again, but of course I didn't. She patiently waited for me to decide which items I wanted more of and then had an associate bring them to the register. That was nice. I'll be back again next year! read more

Nice store. Just be sure you're open when your hours say you're open...and don't make it the customers fault that you have to scramble because you didn't get all your opening duties done on time so you could be open on time. A couple minutes may not seem important, but you'd be surprised just how valuable a couple minutes can be. read more

I'm probably at Bath and Body Works more than I should be. Of all locations, the employees here are particularly kind and outgoing. One employee, Euriko (maybe misspelled) is seriously every employer's dream. She's always energetic, handing out baskets, starting conversations with people and answering questions. Even when its a zoo during sale time, shes as chipper as ever. I think Ive seen her 5 or 6 times now and shes always the same. I don't know how she does it, but I thought that kind fo attitude and work ethic is worth a review. read more

Do not go to this place if you are a person of color. Extremely prejudice staff, woman followed me from the beginning of my venture in the store until the end. This just happened day after Christmas 9a in the morning , I'm a black man wearing a parking uniform for Gods sake. I noticed she had security conveniently circle the front of the store, the dead give away was her walking by me for not a second or third, but fourth time, then counting the items I had in this basket. Then radio'd something on her earpiece. I refuse to spend my money with prejudice ppl, I know it all too well being from Texas. Black ppl please find another bath & body works. This one will treat you as if you have stolen or will still something as soon as they see you. Maybe this is just how they treat folks of color in Lynnwood. i lived here during High School. i've had every single fragrance.. Plumeria happens to be my favorite. when Cherry Apple Blossoms came out... i totally jumped on it. the relaxation collection and the original scents are still my favorites... i'm bummed they discontinued a lot of things- but now that they carry everything from C.O. Bigelow and Fresh... i'm a happy camper. my biggest gripe about this place is that it's TOO small. for a place with so many products... they really need to expand. read more

I'm more than willing to spend my money here. I hate using the same body wash and/or lotion every day. I like to live on the wild side and spice it up, mix it up, keep the world guessing! So their sales are awesome because I can get 5-6 lotions or body washes for the price of 2-3! We also use their wallflowers in the house. At first, I thought my boyfriend was crazy for spending the money on these when Airwicks were cheaper. When I did the calculations I realized with the amount of time the wallflowers last, I end up saving money! Plus, they have better scents available. The BIG sales (Semi-annual) are great too for extra cheap pickups but the crowds can get pretty insane. I love my trips to BBW every few months to refill on my products. The lotion is so awesome, keeps my skin soft and smelling delicious. read more

I would like to congratulate an associate who helped me on July 4th. Her name is Suzanne and she was awesome. She has a customer service style that you don't see in many retail workers: being TOTALLY yourself! This means being relaxed, humorous, and honest with the customer. She complimented me on my hat without trying to sell me anything but once I told her what I was there for she expedited my experience. She knew exactly where everything I needed was located, and pointed out the items that were on clearance with a genuine concern for value. She got a very quick idea of the scents I like and was very honest when she thought I would not like one. At the checkout she even threw in a $10 off coupon when I had left mine at home. I've always had good experiences at bath n body works. Tonight was literally the worst I've ever had. I've always had my email signed up for coupons and for some reason u never get them even in my spam. So I use websites like retailme.com to get coupons and they always honor. Tonight in particular I pulled up the one on the website and she stated I couldn't use it because it didnt have a barcode. Which is really silly. So I went back online and found the EXACT coupon you recieve on your email ($10 off $30) and confirmed with 2 people instore so I had thr right one. Waited in line and now she stated "we dont use this website so we cant honor your coupon"! Are you kidding me?? Its literally the exact same barcode number than everyone else. I've NEVER EVER had such a bad experience here. They usually honor anything even if it's a day expired. This is why I go here because they are kind and always willing to help in any way. I forgot my coupon one time and she literally offered me the one they had in store. I didnt even ask or expect it. I'm not sure if I'll be returning to this store again unfortunately. Maybe the managers being so young affects their decision making. Because another manager on duty said she would have no problem doing it if she was the MOD.
