I recently visited Good Vibrations apothecary store in Lynnwood, WA, with the intention of purchasing a specific item. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by an unexpected surprise: a dog that seemed to materialize out of nowhere. As someone with a mild dog allergy, this was not a welcome greeting. The dog was persistent in its attention, refusing to leave me alone, which made for a slightly uncomfortable shopping experience. The situation was further compounded by the associates' lack of attentiveness. Despite the store being relatively empty, the staff seemed to be preoccupied with their own tasks, leaving me to fend for myself. I approached one associate, hoping for assistance, but they were so engrossed in their work that they couldn't even spare a moment to check me out for a single item. It was as if I were invisible, a mere inconvenience in their day. The most egregious display of poor customer service came when a female associate was too busy talking with another customer who was complaining about everything. She couldn't even be bothered to check me out for a simple transaction. It was clear that she was more interested in the other customer's complaints than in helping the customers who were actually trying to make purchases. This was a stark reminder of the store's blatant disregard for customer service. The entire experience was not welcoming and this is a 5-star rated store? I don't think so. The store's lack of customer focus and the associates' blatant disregard for their jobs were glaring issues that need to be addressed. I hope this review reaches the right people, as the store has potential, but it needs to prioritize its customers if it wants to keep them. I am not going to be coming back until something maybe improves better. read more

We found what we needed there to help our wee doggie get through a respiratory issue comfortably. A naturopathic syrup formula of Slippery Elm, Marshmallow Root and unheated raw honey soothed his cough by the second dosing (3x's per day) and symptoms went completely away in two days. However we continued for one more day and he has had no relapse. That said, not all pet illnesses or discomfort can be cured with herbal formulas and so we do not disregard seeing his veterinarian for a diagnosis for anything alarming or persistent and he is vaccinated. However, we do support and enhance positive health, his and ours, through diet first which can include health enhancing formulas which I prefer to make myself rather than trusting formulas that are not regulated and can contain whatever ingredients profiteers without consciences want to put in them. Was thrilled to find such an apothecary in the Seattle metro because it allows me to know exactly what I gave my sweet doggie during his discomfort and I can obtain formulas or make them myself to support our family's health as needed. read more

This is a great holistic store. The owner (Laura) is incredible. She stopped what she was doing and was extremely helpful and informative. She truly cares about her customers and what she dose. The establishment has numerous herbal supplements and extracts, as well as many fresh herbs that can be used for culinary and multiple uses. The prices at Good Vibrations are extremely affordable. One product I purchased, I purchased previously from a supplement store. Good Vibrations sold the same item, for 40% less. This is a must try if you want to explore natural remedies, purchase fresh herbs, coffee, tea or incense. read more

I have Pneumonia and heard a specific herb can be helpful. Not only did they have that herb, but they put together a very effective tea blend to help, and boy did it help!! It was a total game changer for me. Totally shocked at how different I feel after drinking this brilliant tea concoction. So grateful that they are so knowledgeable and helpful. Was so pleased with my first visit - Athena helped me by listening as I described who I was buying for and asked clarifying questions about them so she could recommend the best options. I bought a few different items: stones, essential oils, aura spray, and chimes. She shared important info about what the item could help with, and then provided pen and paper when I checked out and repeated this info so I could write it down. My nieces and sister were thrilled with their gifts and appreciative of the instructions such as where to put the essential oils on their bodies to maximize the effective qualities. I truly enjoyed being in the Good Vibrations Apothecary and meeting all the wonderful knowledgeable and helpful staff. I felt right at home and cared for by everyone. I was seeking pain relief for myself and my daughter for knee and back pain. Kratom was the perfect remedy for my daughter's chronic back pain. She will be visiting the shop very soon for additional support with herbs. As a family, we will definitely return to your shop. I came here Originally with my daughter who Wanted to look at some crystals I passively asked about herbal remedies for anxiety and depression not thinking much of it Maybe because I did not want to get my hopes up, my life has completely changed from they blend they prepared for me! I think what most people need to keep in mind when trying herbal remedies is that they should be used along with good diet and exercise regiment. They are amazing at getting to the core of the issue if you are willing to work hard at being healthy as a whole. I am so impressed with the knowledge of these ladies at the store they have helped me so much to further educate myself not only has my anxiety gone but I have focus and physical stamina sleep is MUCH better and without grogginess. This Apothecary is so incredible that I don't know where to begin. Kratom, Kava, specialty herbs, teas, coffee, superfoods, medicinal mushrooms, sage, candles, incense, natural face and body care..and more, its all here! I was looking for an apothecary that sold herbs I needed for rituals and I found everything I needed here and some! I've been in several times since and really enjoyed speaking with Lauri, the owner. She's wonderful and will tell you all she knows about any product your curious knowing more about. It's impressive to see what she's been able to create despite opening during the pandemic just a few months ago. She takes necessary Covid precautions by wearing a mask and has hand sanitizer available. If you're looking to elevate your well being and/or are struggling with anxiety/depression during this uncertain time, give Lauri a visit and see what she can do for you. She can make you a special tea/herb blend or recommend something like kava and kratom, which are both completely naturally derived that have helped me immensely alleviate emotional, mental and physical discomfort. Kava is a root from Fiji that is grounded into a powder and made into a drink which has sedative effects and kratom is a plant from SE Asia that helps reduce pain and emotional symptoms. Both of these have changed my life and I highly recommend them both as a possible alternative to pain killers, anti-depressants, etc. If you're looking for another way to take care of yourself and know theres something better out there for you than what you've been told, seriously go give Lauri a visit and see what your options might be :) P.S- To my fellow witches, since one of the main apothecary's in Seattle has closed, she's now carrying more magic herbs for all your witchy needs. read more

I am so thankful for this specialty store right down the road from us! My daughter wanted to get some essential oils, and this place had so many to choose from. The owner was really kind & helpful, and she explained the differences between all of the product lines she had in stock but was not pushy in the least. She was also really helpful picking out a tea to help with my digestive issues. I went back the next day to get some sage for smudging, and again, she had an abundance to choose from and was really knowledgeable about the different kinds she had. This little shop will definitely be my go-to from now on for herbs, oils, and teas. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door of GVA. A calming, pleasantly scented, and welcoming environment - an oasis on the busy 99 in Lynnwood. I came for the candles but left with a fair trade ornament, locally made honey, incense cones and with a feeling that there are great stores that cater to those looking for a variety of healthy, natural products, teas, and more.
