We went to Pottery Land because we saw online they had planters that matched one we got from when we did a backyard renovation. We picked one out but they helped us try to load it in the car and it didn't fit (Womp womp!). On the advice of the lovely man we were working with (I think he was the owner?), he suggested two smaller planters instead of one large one and it turned out beautifully. Found exactly what I was looking for and as soon as I was able to locate an employee they helped me load it in the car since it was very heavy. Had to use a dolly to get it to my back yard. I felt the prices were ok, not stellar. Their variety was extraordinary and not something I was able to locate at other businesses that sold outdoor pottery. read more

Excellent selection. Excellent value. Excellent customer service. I have driven by this spot dozens of times while cruising around Lynnwood. I finally stopped in todatly for my first of what I'm sure will be many visits. The staff is super kind & friendly, but not pushy at all. I was greeted within minutes of entering the yard, and after inquiring if I was in search of anything particular, and telling me to let him know if I had any kind of questions, the gentleman there left me to my own devices, offering a smile here and there as we passed each other in the yard. The selection was so vast, containers of all shapes, sizes and hues greeted me as I wandered, my head filling with so many ideas every time I came upon a planter that caught my fancy. Price point is more than fair. Big planters will run you a pretty penny no matter where you go , but the prices here undercut everyone else's in the area, and they load your treasures into your vehicle for you. Refused to sell. Drove all the way out here, found exactly what I needed (a deep saucer for a bird bath) it was priced separately, they had about 45 of them in stock and they refused to sell it to me. I would have to buy the pot too. You may buy the POT without the saucer, but not the SAUCER without the pot. They do not inventory one saucer per pot, so - instead of managing their inventory they refused a $100 sale. What a waste of my time. Don't bother to come here. read more

Pottery Land was recommended to us by friends who have shopped there in the past. Although a few miles outside of Seattle it was a pleasant Saturday adventure. I go out of my way get to Pottery Land and have been adding to my flower pot collection from the amazing selection here for years. Excellent prices, great service, every pot size, color, shape, texture you can imagine. Always great service! My first trip here this year was in May and I was asked by the gentleman who usually greets me if I wanted another pot from the same collection I purchased from last year. I make it here only once or twice a summer, considering how many people he must surely talk to over the course of a year, that kind of recognition is impressive! Finally, I live in high country outside of Ellensburg and in the middle of winter our night-time temps can drop well below zero. I keep my pots outside year round. Never have I had a pot crack- even when I have neglected to empty them in the fall and there's soil and water in them from rain or melted snow. If they can sustain winters here without a blemish, they will certainly last a lifetime on the west side. Highly recommend! read more

Shopped for some pots today. This wasn't my first visit, but this time around I was a lot more satisfied! The man who helped us was sooo sooo nice and so helpful! When asking him to shuck some heavy pots down, with a smile he replied, "No problem!" When asking if he had a cart to transport the pots to my car, "We do for you, no problem!" He also said we could exchange if the sizes didn't look right when we got them home, "No problem!" The prices of ceramic pots are a lil spendy regardless of where you buy them, but all the pots here are 10% off and selected few are 50% off. They are the best deals I have found. When we were buying the pots my grandma mentioned she liked this lil ceramic turtle that floats, the nice man says, "You can have that for free, my gift to you." Wow. Pinnacle of customer service! Attentitive service like that will win my business anytime! The service alone deserves all 5 stars! read more

Wonderful place! We'll worth the drive from Seattle. The selection, price, and help are all top notch. So many sizes, colors, designs, styles - it's hard not to buy them all. The staff are patient if you want to look at each pot to pick the one you like best, they offer advice but also let you browse without pressure. If you buy anything they load your car carefully and do an impressive job getting it all in. Lastly, you simply cannot beat their prices. What's not to love?! read more

She also made sure someone loaded the pots in my car very carefully and put cardboard in between so they wouldn't touch each other on the drive home. Before winter I'd stop by every week and buy a pot or two because there's always something new and I look forward to saying hello to Manuel. Not only were the prices unbeatable, but they also have a discounted section for cracked or chipped pots that are still in good condition.
