Wow, wow, wow! I truly cannot begin to express my gratitude to the incredible staff at Alderwood Mall Lush. We celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday there, and not only were we blown away by how smoothly everything went, but every single parent reached out afterward to tell us what a hit the party was. We invited a large group of girls, and when all of them showed up, I'll admit we were nervous it might be overwhelming. Instead, it was the exact opposite. Every child was welcomed warmly and treated with such kindness and respect. We already love Lush for their strong moral stance and commitment to fighting animal testing, so we couldn't imagine a better place to spend our time and money. The girls played games, enjoyed face masks and lip scrubs, and fully experienced the magic of Lush. It was engaging, organized, and so much fun. When the mall opened, the staff didn't rush us out. They graciously worked around the change in pace and continued to make us feel completely welcome. Any small hiccups were handled seamlessly and professionally -- no one felt overlooked or disappointed. The team communicated with gentleness, patience, and clarity throughout the entire event. I would especially like to recognize Cece, Bryant, and Alana. The success of this party is truly due to their positive attitudes, flexibility, and attention to detail. I was so disappointed with lush this time. I'm a big fan of lush so i bought lots of products. As everyone knows, lush gives one free bottle if you bring 5 empty bottles. I went in and the worker brought some stuff over so i can choose one of it. I opened it up a week after and i saw molds inside and checked the expiration date and they gave me the one thats about to expire. If you guys would do promotions like that, you could of let me know you guys are giving free bottle but only the ones that about to expire. Going to keep this review short, but I love this store too much. I've been a fan of Lush since I first encountered it up in BC in like 2005 and been to a few stores over the years and Alderwood is a great store, but hands down Markus makes the experience. He's one of the most knowledgeable and kindest hearted employees I've ever encountered. All the employees there are amazing as well. My only complaint that I have is that I always end up spending way more than I intended to because I always see something I want to try. Protip: there's tons of stuff that they can offer free samples of if you're not sure if something will work for you. read more

I just wanted to compliment the Lush store at Alderwood mall. I've left reviews in the past for the store that were less than impressed. And wow all staff aren't as knowledgeable as others, the store does a good job of tending to your needs, offering help, and supplying you with samples and products! I really am fond of their manager with the dreads. She is a great leader, and perhaps the most knowledgeable lush employee I have ever met. The store does need to work on its ability to supply fresh face masks regularly, I feel like the shipments don't come in often enough. read more

I love Lush. This location is no exception. Really amazing customer service from two different employees. Both ladies were attentive, knowledgeable about current and past products, listened to me instead of talking over me, and didn't pressure me. I've bought Lush for fifteen years from Canada and online and when they finally opened the store in Bellevue Square, I was pumped. This was my first visit to the store in the Alderwood Mall, and I couldn't be happier about the service I received. Lush products are all organic and never tested on animals. No or little packaging saves on cost and the environment, too. I love their bath bombs. They are super relaxing, smell fantastic and have calmed me when I've had an intense day. Sex Bomb has been around for a long time, and I hope it never goes away. If you're new to bath bombs, I would recommend trying that one. It's name is misleading - it's just made of ylang ylang, sage, jasmine, and milk to help you simmer down and relax in the tub. They put a pink, paper heart in it that just sticks to the bottom of your tub to make it look pretty and sell. Or try Big Blue, made of lavender, sea salt, seaweed and lemon oil, also made to help you chill out. Also a fan of Beautiful, a shower gel that I also use for shampoo. They throw glitter in it for good measure. They use to have this deal that any time you use something that comes in a black tub, clean it out and bring it back to the store for credit towards a new item. I will have to see if that's still going on. The only product line they sell that I am not a fan of is the make up. read more

During this difficult time with covid I completely understand you guys are under a lot of stress, but please be kind to your customers. Don't yell from the back of the store to the front of the store to get out and wait for staff to bring me in, especially since you have no signs stating that you must wait it's rude and really quite embarrassing for me as a customer. I honestly had no idea and there was no line or wait staff outside to tell me to wait. I will never shop at this location again as much as I love lush I think I will purchase online instead. read more

Obviously their bath bombs are the best and worth every cent and I also love how they have little sample soaps to wash your hands with when you enter the store...a nice break from all of that very necessary but very hand drying hand sanitizer at other stores and your hands still get very clean! But today I was also so impressed by the person who helped us today and how kind he was to my very young son. He was very patient and even showed my son how one of the bath bombs we picked out glowed in the dark. I don't usually think of Lush as a store to visit with children and was really impressed with how my son was treated. Lush has been one of my go to stores for beauty products! Yesterday, my mom wasn't having the best day so we (as in I) decided to go to Alderwood to hang out and kind of just go around and look. I wanted to stop by Lush because I had an experience with the Jelly Bomb earlier that day with my cousin, and I was really eager to show her what it felt like! The sales woman that helped us was so friendly! I didn't get her name but she was so amazing and nice, and it turns out we went to the same high school! That was pretty cool as well! I really appreciate the service I got Sunday. I just had shoulder surgery and the gal got me everything I needed which was so sweet. The computers were down so checkout was very long but given me being Uber slow at the moment it didn't bother me. As a courtesy they gave me a free bath melt that coincided with the bombs and body wash I got. Was a really nice touch and appreciated. I usually go to Bellevue due size, quantity of products and service, but will have to pop by here when I'm in the area. It was a really nice experience and the accommodation was not unnoticed and I want to say kudos to that lady for being really nice. read more

When we first came in, we were asked to wash our hands. Really impressed by the staff at this location. The store was packed to the brim but I was immediately greeted upon walking in and offered assistance two separate times in the actual store. (This has been the case both visits that I've never had to actually look for anything One associate helped me find the shampoo I was looking for and explained the difference between the new one I was choosing and the old one I had been using (did the same thing with the conditioner I had picked out). The other associate approached me as I was looking at the face masks, and when I explained I just needed time to check out the descriptions, she even gave me a print run down of each mask, in case "you don't want to actually have to talk to anyone." Talk about sensitive to different people's needs! I usually buy online from brand name companies over going to the store in person, but in Lush Alderwood's case I'll always happily stop in for a visit. read more

Yesterday's visit completely calls for a review! But first, I've been in before and Kendall was a great help, demo'd Buffy butter on my arm, which I still need to buy! But she was kind and funny. Last night I stopped in because I needed a lip scrub and I head that Lush had the best. I will start by saying it was not busy, There were only 2 other people in here and 3 employees. I was greeted right away by Brittany. I don't even name drop in reviews but I feel like she was that good. She was super helpful and passionate about telling me everything I wanted and needed to know about products without being super overbearing. Her other 2 cowowkers were too busy snapchatting and taking videos of a guy in the store that thought he was the funniest guy ever. He wasn't. I am all for having some fun at work but when it gets to the point of being obnoxious I am not down with it. I stood there waiting to pay because Brittany was stocking stuff, which is part of her job. The other two were still goofing off. Brittany stopped what she was doing to walk over and help me. If it were not for her, I would have walked the hell out of there. read more

I was spoiled for years when my husband worked not far from the SF Union Square location as he would routinely bring home various things for me to try. Since moving up here I haven't used many of their products as it just wasn't as convenient so I was happy to see this store open so close. Of course, almost everything I loved in that time has been discontinued, but there is still plenty to try. The staff in this location has been welcoming, but also leave me to peruse on my own if that's what I am feeling that day. On my last two visits I was helped by Cody and he was so helpful! He solved one of my biggest issues with LUSH which is the smell. The stores I remember used to have coffee beans in small containers for you to smell to cleanse your palate while you shop, but it seems like this isn't standard practice anymore. However, he directed me to a coffee based scrub that I could smell in between other products and it really helped a lot! He also suggested a facial mask I'd never tried and a bath bomb I never would have chosen on my own, but I loved both. On returning on my next visit he recognized me and welcomed me back and I just thought he provided really strong customer service on both my visits. This location is small, and packed with product. It's easy to get overwhelmed especially if you are sensitive to that much aroma all at once, but worth it. There is nothing like LUSH and everyone at this location has been so nice. read more

I really love the products. I don't like the prices. I think that Lush's products are good quality, but the prices have gone up throughout the years of my shopping experience at this store. I think the bath bombs are around $10 each now which I think is ridiculous. Most of the employees at this location are very knowledgeable about the products, but I have talked to an employee or two that was shy and didn't want to talk to any of the customers. I was told by an employee a couple of years ago that she needed to look at my bank account at check out which I thought was weird, because I have never been asked that by a cashier before... it hasn't happened again since so I'm not sure what that situation was all about. Nothing sketch happened, but be careful. Overall okay experience. Would recommend if you can afford it. read more

I absolutely love going into this location! I know most of the employees and they know me just because I'm there so often. I don't know why cashier 1130 got such a bad rep in the previous review but she is my FAVORITE. Every time I go in, she's all smiles and is extremely helpful. She makes sure I'm getting taken care of and brightens my day every single time. I haven't had anything close to a bad experience at this location and I doubt I ever will. read more

RUDE EMPLOYEE!!! CASHIER 1130 I have been shopping at Lush for about 4 years since I found it in LA and through now since I moved to Everett. I absolutely love Lush which is why I drive 45 minutes to get to the Bellevue location. I was so excited that the Lynnwood store opened and is just down the street BUT I would much rather continue to go to the Bellevue store. The cashier was absolutely rude!!!!! I asked why she needed my ID for a debit card and apparently that pissed her off because she tossed my receipt at me (literally) just said sign that and didn't give me a pen. Then rudely said (she definitely wasnt asking) if it was alright if I don't give you a bag because they are too big. I laughed a little because they are not big but yeah I need a bag because I am not done shopping at the mall. Since I did want the bag she clearly was aggravated! Don't ask me if its okay if you plan on treating me like crap for saying I do want one. She made me feel bad for only buying one item! Excuse me brat but I will have you know that I spend a good $100 every other month at lush and I just needed 1 item this trip! I am disgusted and disappointed for being so excited to then be treated like trash. She needs to go train at another location because clearly a terrible hire. read more

Cruelty Free and Vegan (some) products that are not only amazing but also fun! Tonight I tried the Atomic tooth powder and my teeth feel more clean than they have ever felt with any other tooth paste I've used. For the longest time I've only really bought the bath bombs, I never branched out much, just a few things here and there. Recently I've been trying more and more products and I couldn't be happier! I actually placed an order online tonight through the LUSH app because I can't wait to go shopping again and it was so fun and easy to use! Ask for Persephone!!!! I have very painfully sensitive skin. Like bloody open wounds kind of sensitivity. I have Lupus on top of that and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have never been to anyplace where someone went to the lengths that she did to help me. She listened to what I needed. Then she sat me down and brought me every thing I needed. Let me try them!!! So I could see if I would react. I could go on and on about the compassion and pure knowledge this young lady had. She listened!! I cannot stress this enough!! She cared! I was not dismissed in a hurry. She did not try to push off really expensive stuff on me. I love the products! The quality is out of this world. All natural! If something doesn't work for you you can return it. You are thinking No Way?!? Yes yes you can!! I love the feel and the smells of so many products. I just moved to Washington from California and today was my very first time in Lush.I was very pleased with the customer service. I don't remember the cashiers name but I do remember that she had red hair and it was around 12pm. She was very welcoming. She directed me right to the product I was looking for and informed with great detail. Good customer service like that should be recognized. read more

On Sunday evening I visited the Lynnwood lush store. I always have a great experience when I go into any lush except for this given time. I was with my mom she never been to one of the stores before I completely the opposite I've traveled to Florence Italy and visited the lush there and also location in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. I have always had a very welcoming experience with super enthusiastic employees willing to help and willing to show me the products that I'm searching for. Happy lemon location me employee that helped me was unlike any other that I had expected. When I asked about a certain product she had no knowledge about it. but I asked for one of the other products elbow grease she pointed me in the direction of the front store. as I proceeded to the front of the store searching for the item another customer asked for a item as well and she graciously helped her find it. As a longtime lush product consumer I will not be visiting the Lynnwood store again. Thanks but no thanks I'll buy online instead of shopping from your store. Customer service is key in this industry. It's important for your employees to smile and make your customers feel welcome. Heads up your employees are not giving 100% you might want to work on that. read more

I was at lush today getting gifts for a babyshower and my son wondered off to look at the bath bombs (he's was being very polite and excited about all their demos). I guess he talked to the shop girls because when I went to check out they told me he picked out a bath bomb for me and it was on the house (and snuck in one for him too). I told them thank you Soo much, and told my son thank you too. Later I looked and it was the bomb he accidentally ruined (not that bad-it was still Usable) and he said he told them he felt bad for ruining mommy's bath bomb so they replaced it for me for free . I didn't know what to say, these ladies made my day and probably my whole week. Their kindness today is why I'm a repeat customer, they are so wonderful. Went into Lush today after discovering that they are in the Alderwood Mall. The girl with the red hair.... Kendra...Kendall....(sorry, I don't remember) was super awesome. She was really nice and helped me find exactly what I wanted as well as a couple samples to make sure I liked a few things before buying. She got me really intrigued by the products and I will definitely be back to get more stuff. And I will be back sooner then later because I forgot to get face moisturizer.... doh! read more

I was recently diagnosed with some sever food allergies and this place was recommended by a friend for vegan products. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked what I was looking for. The First Lady I spoke to was up front by telling me she wasn't familiar with my particular allergies so she brought out another women who did. I really appreciated that they were honest and didn't try to pretend they were knowledgeable just to get a sale. I tested some products and bought quite a few!
