Had a good experience shopping here a few weeks ago. The store is located in the outdoor mall called The Forum on Peachtree Parkway. The shop itself is really well maintained and very organized. The 3 of us came in during a week day afternoon we were the only ones in the store. There were a couple of employees who were working the counter who were talking never acknowledged our presence. I guesstimate we were in the store at least 15 minutes or more. They just kept on chatting out loud to themselves about other employees that worked at the store which I think is very unprofessional in front of customers....not interested in returning... read more

I really hate giving businesses a bad review. But it has to be done! I shop at this Bath and Body Works all the time, but now, I will no longer be their customer at this location. Why? You may be wondering... because the store manager (I forgot her name) was not friendly and when my mom and I walked into the store we got no greeters! When I asked about the former store manager at this location to the current store manager, she told me that she hadn't worked at this location for a couple of months. She acted like I was supposed to know that... how the heck was I supposed to know that!? Anyways, the store looked beautiful as always. I tried to get one of the employees' attention because I needed help with something, but she totally ignored me and was chatting with her fellow teammates. Bad, bad customer servicing!! I also had a question, but they were too busy chatting and laughing. WOW! I've never been ignored before and it felt really horrible being ignored. There were 4 people behind the registers and 3 registers were open. It didn't seem like a busy day. There weren't many customers. I wanted to exchange the products that I wasn't satisfied with and I asked about their return policy (because I know that it changes every single time I shop at Bath and Body Works). Okay. So I asked one of the employees working there that the former store manager would make an even exchange for me. The former store manager looked at me and said, "Well, she doesn't work here anymore. She hasn't worked here for a couple months already and our return and exchange policy has changed." She explained to me that I could make an exchange for body cream for body cream but for the other products I would have to get a merchandise credit. I was ok with that. Not satisfied but I just wanted to get rid of those items I had. When I came back to make the exchange, she says, "Since these are more than the products you're going to exchange, you're going to have to pay the difference." My mom and I looked at each other and my mom said to the manager, "You said that we could make an even exchange." One of the employees standing next to the manager said, "I heard her that you have to pay a dollar difference." Mind you that at the beginning when I asked her about the exchange policy, the manager had mentioned that but then said she'd honor the even exchange for me. They were trying to change what has already been said. I was so upset! I argued with the manager and said that that wasn't what she had told my mom and me. She rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath and said, "I'll honor it for you." If you're going to honor it, then don't make that kind of bad attitude! And then she goes on saying, "We don't accept products that have been half used." I said to her, "It hasn't been half used." She kept trying to argue with me and at this point I was getting more upset by the second! She said, "You have to gently use it." I said to her, "OH! So you want me to use one pump of lotion?" And she said, "No, I meant you could use a few squirts of lotion." What's the point of doing that?! What if it smelled ok the first few times and later it smelled bad and I didn't like it? She wasn't making any sense to me and I was just so upset! Finally, I made the exchange and walked out of the store. Again.. no greeter. I didn't get a "See you, again, next time". Their customer service has gone down! WAY WAY DOWN!!! NEVER COMING HERE TO SHOP EVER AGAIN!!! read more

I've been to this location several times and I'm always impressed with how nice the employees are. Usually when I visit, I have something to exchange. Bath And Body Works has a 100% guarantee you'll like it or you can return the item or exchange it for something else, as long as you haven't used more than half the product. I purchased a two pack of "Brilliant Citrus" plugin refills online. They smelled wretched. Even the sales lady, Dorian, thought they smelled like lemony cleanser you might find at the dollar store. Anyway, even without a receipt I was able to exchange them for two new (and much better smelling) plugins. No muss, no fuss. The store is always well stocked and organized. Well, who really reads a review for chain conglomerates like BBW? Location, nice quiet, a little foot traffic, nothing crazy. Store, obviously smells nice, looks nice, and well maintained, everything easy to find from just looking around or across the store. Employee, not sure how many was working, I only saw the one lady who wrung everyone up at the time, including me. There was a little hold up because the lady was packaging up a gift 'the old fashion BBW way" which was the shrink wrap and a basket-- no charge y'all!! better than buying some of the boxes they pushed onto customers a few years back. So the lady was kind of whining/joking about no one asking it to be wrapped up anymore.Then the lady was catching up or gossiping with a relative as the rest of us browsed. This is the first BBW I've been to, that there was no greetings or asked if we needed help. 3 stars? Stopped by Bath and Body Works to pick up some candles during their annual candle day. This annual event for Bath and Body Works is bigger than Black Friday. Stores open at 7am and the line starts before the doors open. All 3-wick candles are priced at $8.95 during the event. Regular price is up to $24. And these candles are well worth the regular price and more. The quality is superb. I've had more expensive candles that do not compare to the quality of the Bath and Body Works 3-wick candle. The aromatic throw on these candles have always been at least an 8 or better on a scale of 1 to 10. I have yet to find a candle that compares anywhere else. I'm a candle fanatic, so I know a thing or two or three about candles. Lol! Trust me they are worth the money. read more

The annual candle sale brought me here. I prefer the stand alone stores rather than the ones inside the malls. This location is closest to me. This store was very organized for it to be their busiest day of the year. And while there was a line just to get into the store (and another line that wrapped around the inside of the store to check out) it moved very swiftly. The associates stayed stocking the shelves with sought after inventory. Most of the associates were friendly and helpful in locating specific items. While the lines were to the door, she made announcements, got candles for people waiting on line, helped with coupons and answered all questions! All without breaking a sweat! When finally arriving to the register after a hour the 3 cashiers were also very pleasant! Store is always clean and well stocked! I pass about 3 other stores just to come to this one. Love this store! This location is great. Located in the Forum Shoppping Center in Norcross/Peachtree City. The staff is extremely helpful and the store is always well maintained and stocked. My only expectation when walking into a BBW is that everything is well organized, clean and the ability to select a specific scent is easy and efficient. I've always had great experiences at this BBW. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, even making me take a shopping bag when I turn it down at the beginning only to find myself walking through the store with arms full of stuff. Always use a coupon! If you're on the mailing list you'll get them frequently and they make a big difference.
