I shop here on and off but tonight I came in for face wash etc. I purchased it from Beauty master the last time and wanted to try some Korean skin care little stronger. I was quickly followed by an Asian woman as I made it to the second wall of face care. She spoke little English. When I asked her can I help her with something? she thought I was asking for help. I've spent plenty of money with this store and to be racially profiled is disgusting behavior. I've been stolen or gave reason to have suspicions. I guess being black and looking at face washes is all the suspicions needed to follow me . Will not be back and would hope all other ladies follow. read more

I found this place on Yelp & I'm glad I did. The store used to be 2 floors but the lower floor is now blocked off. They have many options to choose from: Hair care products Hair synthetic & real Makeup Body oils/ perfumes Clothes/Hats/Scarfs/Gloves Luggage I found everything I was looking for & then some. I had to hold back from buying items since I did go there with certain items in mind. Prices were pretty comparable to other hair stores around & they run specials. I'm glad they have a location on the Northside because they have everything you need from hair products, beauty products and other miscellaneous things that you'll realize you need once you're in the store. Basically it's a one stop shop. They also have other locations on the Southside too. Their prices are very reasonable and most of the time their prices are cheaper than other beauty supply stores. I always compare their prices than other locations. If you can't find an item in another store I'm pretty sure they'll have it. They have a wide variety of products in their in their inventory. Due to COVID you are required to wear a mask while in the store and they have an officer on site to do temperature checks before entry. read more

HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! I went in on 5/25 with my friend from out of town. I was so excited to take her to what was once my favorite beauty supply store. As soon as we walked in, we passed the perfume roll on oil section and she glanced at it as if she wanted to purchase something. I quickly disclosed to her in a private conversation that their brands of oil are not long lasting, which is true. Apparently I didn't say it quiet enough and the cashiers heard me. As I'm still engaging in conversation with my friend, the employees because to loudly make snarky remarks at me like "we heard that, hater". I continued to browse because I thought that surely they were just talking to each other and not bullying a customer as if we are some middle school girls. As I approached the make up section from the back of the store, I could hear then still talking at me and making rude remarks about me with each other while exchanging giggles. I glanced over at them after realizing they were indeed talking about and to me. They all started laughing and I heard someone say "Did she turn around?" At this point I had no doubt in my mind that I was the topic of discussion. I disappointedly found my friend, made her aware of the situation and we abandoned our cart in the middle of the store and left immediately. They will not ever get my service again, you can bet on that. You're better off going to Beauty & Beauty, which isn't too far away in the shopping center at the corner of Pleasant Hill Rd and Satellite Blvd, right next to 5 below. read more

I didn't use it at all had the receipt and bought it in the next morning . The managaer alex said that the only thing I could do is buy another one which sucks. As a consumer, be prepared to absorb this establishment's cost of doing business EVEN WHEN it's indicated on the receipt that you can exchange an item within 7 days of purchase with receipt and in original condition (if it's not listed within a specified category on the receipt). I went into this store today to request exchange for a shower cap I purchased in an incorrect size. The cashier/alleged manager stated my item was not in original condition, she would not process the return, and I could come back tomorrow to speak to her manager, Sue. I'm fortunate that this $3 will not set me back, so I won't be wasting my time seeking an exchange here. Nor will I be making another purchase here. Buyer beware. 3/24-Customer service needs attention. Employees seem interested in mostly chatting loudly with only each other, personal business and complaining about other employees. Very little interest in the customer, was made to feel rushed and like I was interrupting them. I asked a question about a simple product, before I could complete my thought was told she didn't know. Wasn't concerned to try and find an answer. Just wanted to quickly ring me up and move me along. Hadn't been in the store in awhile and since it's changed its look. Not thrilled. The staff is pretty great over here. The store is always pretty well organized for a large department store. Some of the stock does get rotated to different locations so do not expect to come in a month or so later and expect all of your favorites to be in the same locations. When I have visited, the other customers are pretty respectful and kept their distance as well. That's not something you get in every establishment within Georgia these days. The store is relatively clean and manicured. I don't run into open products as much in this store as other beauty supply shops. It's a large store so you can take your time and not feel crowded by tons of other shoppers. Beauty supply Braiding hair style and color options continue to be more vast than smaller beauty supply stores. Their Hask Hair masks section is so vast and always stocked. Formalwear The formal section is HUGE. There are more options for more petite folks (as is usual with formal wear), but there are a few more options for taller ladies than I would expect to see elsewhere and for VERY reasonable price and quality. Apparel and accessories They have a TON of this as well. Although, I am never likely to purchase most of the clothing in this place due to price, it appears to be of decent quality. I did however purchase a tote bag from here YEARS ago when they opened and it STILL holds up to this day. That sucker has been to work with me, on MANY trips and weekend travel and hasn't shown any signs of tearing or fading considering the price paid. The bag was $30 which isn't too expensive. Good day,  I am writing this email on behalf of my elderly mother, whom was in the Beauty Master Duluth Location, attempting to shop today, when she had to immediately use the restroom and was told to go somewhere else. As a customer, I deem it ridiculous that an elderly lady, had to leave the store in order to use the restroom and was unable to purchase her items because of the immediate need. This treatment was cruel and distasteful. This store would rather urine be spilled on the floor with the merchandise, than to have an elderly lady, whom is unable to hold it), use the private restroom. I went here to look for bridesmaids and flower girl dresses. This place has Dillards prices ($88 for flower girl dress) but is in a defunct mall which doesn't exactly give the Dillards experience. I didn't feel like they department store quality either. The top floor is beauty supplies and accessories which I can't comment on as I wasn't in there to look for these things. The lack of selection for bridemaids dresses (everything had cheap rhinestones or wasn't in the right shade/color) was also a turn off. The nail in the coffin however was the sales lady followed us throughout the store. Literally, every place we went, she magically showed up. Soooo I'm late to the party because I hear this place has been around for a year or so. It's probably the only business keeping Gwinnett Place around. It's no secret that beauty supply stores for my skin complexion are non-existent in Johns Creek. The one nearby spot I'm not in love with, but hey my options were limited. MORE THAN JUST BEAUTY SUPPLIES AND COSMETICS! This business was one of the sponsors for the Atlanta Night Market. They were handing out 30% off coupons so I decided to check them out as we exited the event. They are located in Gwinnett Mall. I was hoping to just run in and check out their selection of cosmetic masks. Nope, didn't happen because this place was not just a small beauty supply store as I had thought, it was quite large and consisted of two levels. I did not go downstairs but my husband did tell me that there was furniture downstairs because he actually peeked. Upstairs you will find all types of hair supplies and a vast selection of make-up. They even have clothing and accessories. What? Apparently this is a department store and I had no idea. There appeared to be only one little lady working a huge area upstairs because she was literally running between departments. I was not really interesting in purchasing here because it was just too large and I later noticed a sign that said no refunds, just exchanges on permitted items. Deal breaker! I do not patronize any stores that do not have a reasonable return policy. This store is very well stocked and I hope that they are as equally staffed because a store of this size really needs to have appropriate staff levels. If you are in the area looking for beauty supplies and don't mind their return policies, you should pay them a visit. read more

So many dresses to choose from and price was a fraction of compared to well known brand name department stores. Saw some beautiful wedding gowns too. I wish they had thumbs down to choose from Today my 19yr old kid went to our usual beauty masters since 2017 . Today she noticed and dress on the mani doll the dress next to it had a belly belt that was NOT CONNECTED to the dress that would go great with the dress she chose. The adult employee bullied her and told her that she can't have it unless she buy both even tho it had its own tag on the belt and was a separate item. Meanwhile I'm on FaceTime with her and I'm appalled because we been shopping there nearly five years and have always been privileged to remove anything from the mani dolls as long we were going to purchase. No harm in that right? Well not today nope nope nope they refused they literally tried to bully her into buying extra product just to get the belt. Wowwwww really beauty master a teenager a teen girl wow I called the store spoke to Mrs thuy aka said like tuuu she pretended to not understand me then go talking about my daughter right in front of her face . I am so upset so upset livid I can't believe it. On top of this the security Guard with the black dress locks not only tried to talk to me but my daughter to hinting towards dating gestures and following around smiling and flirting I had to tell him with my man one day to leave me alone he was on the phone with his wife that day and tried to pretend. Love this place- it's like a toy store for beauty and fashion lovers! Huuuuuuuge selection, awesome prices! Clothing is more average price point, but worth it as they carry some very cool trendy pieces you don't see very often. I could be in this store for hours and not even notice! read more
