I love this store. It's so hard to resist because they always have deals like Buy three lotions, get one free. The staff is nice and welcoming and always offering you a basket. They help you if you have any questions. I came in just to replace my hand sanitizer. The worker recommended me the peach flavor because it smelled fruity. I always get their lotions, body cream, and body wash. They were having a promotion for the new Mandalorian movie which smelled nice because of the coco butter and sage hint. I have a very limited time to run any kind of errand these days, so you can bet when my time is unnecessarily wasted, I'm angry about it. I waited in line to check out. After I used my coupon, I thought my total was higher than it should've been, so I varied with the cashier (TWICE!) that my coupon was applied. The cashier stated it was, so I paid. I checked the receipt after paying and saw it wasn't applied. I had to go back in the store, wait in line again, and another cashier had to waste their time as well fixing the other employee's error. It's not that she made a mistake, it's that she repeatedly lied about the coupon being applied. I've been here many times before, but won't bother giving this location any sales to add to their revenue; I'll stick to my EG locations. read more

I always buy gifts from here for Christmas, birthdays, Mother's Day, pretty much any occasion that requires me to buy a gift for the people I love. After buying so many products you get a free item which is almost 20 bucks if you think about it and at taxes maybe a little bit more than $20 but I'm really upset because it expires. And why do I have to use my reward when they want me to use it I want to save it and use it at a time that's important to me for the people that I care about I don't want to earn a reward and then have it stolen back from me because I forgot about a freaking expiration date it shouldn't even expire! If you earn something it should be yours to use when and where and how you want to I hate the fact that Bath and Body Works gives you a free gift and in my case I've had several that have expired because I didn't realize the expiration date!!! I seriously hope I am not the only person that feels this way!!! This is a very busy location. It is hard to find a parking because this is a big shopping area. Especially during the holidays make sure you have your patience because the line is really long. So since December 2021, I have been subscribed to email and rewards programs and ALL. And I just pretty much been a regular face at the Delta Shores location! Hahahaa, they know who I am! I am only present there when I snag a really good deal and I am being honest, I am in there at least TWICE a month! And I ain't paying for no $7 to $8 shipping, so in'store pick up it is! I went in today just to used my 20% coupons. Apparently the cashier was getting irritated because I couldn't pull up my app for my 20% coupon. She wasn't really friendly or helpful and didn't have a smile on her face. I go to this location all the time and I never have bad experience with my shopping. 2020 annual candle day event! I didn't know there is a Bath and Body Works store at delta shore until my sisters told me. They are located next to Daiso and Ulta. Came here early Saturday morning at 7:45am with my sister for their annual candle day event and there was a super long line!! I was told that the store will be opened at 8am but then found out that they actually opened the door earlier as there were people there waiting since 5am! The line was so long that it reached all the way passed the movie theater! Yikes! Due to covid, they were only allowing 14 people inside the store at a time. While waiting in line, staffs were pushing carts around with candles. They let every customers waiting in line to have a chance to smell the candles before entering the stores. You can jot down the scents you like so that you already know which ones to grab once you're inside. That definitely helped speed up the process! Finally got to the front and we were given candle trays and bags to carry around while shopping inside the store. The store was cleaned and organized. Tons of candles throughout the store. Staffs were there to assist as needed. The candle day event is 3 days this year! From Friday Dec 4 - Sunday Dec 6. Limit is 18. I expected a total of 2 hours from waiting in line to walking out the store. Omg, we actually spent 7 hours total!! We didn't expect it to be this long. All in all, the candle day event is a good deal but not worth the 7 hours. All the staffs were very nice, friendly and helpful for sure. Hopefully by next year's candle day event, they will figure out a better system so that customers won't have to wait more than 2 hours! read more

Personally the new scent wasn't for me. But let me tell you she went all over helping me and my daughter find body sprays. I came in for an exchange and when I got to the front they only had 1 cashier. There were like five people in front of me and it took forever to make an exchange. I also had an online order for pick up so I had to wait again in line with two other people already waiting which took quite a while because they're so unorganized. Their system for online pick up sucks. They should really learn from the natomas location because they at least have a good system down. They have a huge selection of candles and hand sanitizers but they carry mostly disgusting scents. They had a ton of shelves and one of the candle shelves had only three candles on it so it was pretty much empty. The travel size item stands that they have by the back of the store near checkout station was sort of annoying because it was confusing as to where the line for checkout was and it was in the way! Also it's hard for other customers if they are trying to look for travel sizes while people are standing in checkout line! Minus four stars bcuz they have a ton of workers yet only one at cash register and poor online pick up system and annoying and weird checkout lines. Also some workers are rude as if they hated dealing with customers and some spoke with inappropriate tone of voice. I'd come shop in store if I'd want to get harassed and profiled as a thief just because I'm carrying a huge purse. It gets crowded here sometimes so if you hate crowds and hate being disrespected and harassed for no reason, avoid this place and shop online instead. A "stand alone" Bath and Body Works in the new Delta Shores shopping center.....Bravo!!! This store has candles, aromatherapy oil, body lotions, bubble bath, bath salts, and an fantastic selection of gift sets. The sales associates were very helpful in answering all my questions. I needed to put together a couple of trios for some of my friends and a sales associate led me to the back of the store where the small item mix and match tables are located. In addition to the prepared put together gift sets, I was delighted to discover a variety of themed fabric zipper bags and containers to use for my hand picked gift sets . One of the sales associates told me that they will assemble any gift set free of charge as long as all items including the container are from their store. This is an excellent option for those of you who either struggle with making things look "pretty" the way they do, or simply want a gift ready to go when you leave the store. read more

I wish they carried all the items for aromatherapy but alas, they do not. I placed a pick up order and they had to cancel one of the items because it sold out in the store. When I picked up my items some of the items had fingerprint marks and were oily--as if it was returned and put back on the floor. Idk their process so I'm guessing here. It's so difficult to write a review at stores that are almost everywhere. The stores look the same and they are all trained the same way. Unless you can mention anything unique about it. The difference is that it's located at Delta Shores - A shopping center off of Highway 5 at the Cosumnes - Calvine exit. In this store there's the typical body baths, lotions, candles and more. I always for sales and even wait for my favorite holiday scents. Those are my favorites. Out of all the Bath and Body Works, I like coming to this one because it's next to my other favorite stores like Ulta and Daiso. The workers are as usual friendly and helpful. read more

I was really contemplating whether or not I was going to write a review, but I decided that maybe someone from the bath and Body works corporate will read it and perhaps provide a coaching opportunity for future customers like me. Bath and Body works has been one of my favorite stores for years. It is one of my favorite places that gives me joy and really support the products they sell. A few days ago I went into the store because I had received coupons in the mail. I went into the store to redeem them. The cashier that was helping me was very friendly. As a matter fact everybody was in the store was very friendly. I had one associate that was helping me with the aromatherapy lotions, and then another was helping me with candles, while another person was Helping me with sanitizers. They were all so helpful . When it was time for me to check out, the cashier was having difficulty with my coupons. Instead of taking off the coupons, it was adding the coupons. She called for a manager for help. The manager that assisted me was pregnant and she really didn't seem like she wanted to help me with the situation. She was telling me that my coupons were already used and because they were not showing up on my phone app than they were already use. At this point there was a very long line and I was really embarrassed and wish that she would have pulled me aside and try to help me. She seemed was in a hurry. I kept telling her that I did not use my coupons and I had not use my app, so I was not sure what was happening. I ended up walking away as a disappointment customer. I didn't end up getting anything. This review has nothing to do about getting some things free, it is about not being heard as a customer. I kept telling her that I have not use my coupons and I had not use my app. I wish she would have believed me and listen to me, and perhaps talk to me about the different types of options she could have provided for me instead of her just letting me walk a way like a fool. I know it's silly, over a coupon, but I cried in my car. I humiliated and felt like I had said something wrong On positive note, after sharing my experience, I ended up going to another bath and body work location. I explain the situation to the associate and they were able to quickly help me with my phone app. We ended up disabling the app and reinstalling it and my coupons ended up showing up. Its customer service like this that I received at the second location is what will keep me coming back to Bath and body Works. But I will never go back to the Delta Store location because of the pregnant manager. read more

Came here for the semi annual sale, waited three hours in line with my friend. We were finally happy to go inside and got what we wanted and got ready to check out. I was greeted by someone who was patient and I decided not to get anything due to rewards not being able to be used in this region during the annual sale. My friend on the other hand was greeted by Esteban and was already rude to her as she was purchasing items. She was buying single wick candles that were on sale and was told by Esteban that they weren't on sale but she told him they were online and asked to speak to a manager. The manager apologized about the situation and said they we're on sale. From therefore Esteban was much more rude to her than before. Once we left she told me what happened and what words were exchanged. I went back and got his name. But when I confronted him on what he said to my friend he laughed and thought it was funny and told his coworkers when did I say that. I asked for his name and he was rude about the situation and handled it very unprofessional. I spoke to the manager once I was leaving and she was very helpful. I'm not the one to be a "Karen" but when you waited in line for hours to be treated disrespectfully and talked down upon something needs to be said. I'll be calling customer service to speak more on the situation. I hope Esteban learns to treat people with respect. read more

One of my favorite body shops to shop at! I love bath and body works especially during the holiday and post holiday season. Their products smell absolutely amazing and they last for quite a while. I am especially a huge fan of their aromatic collection. I'm not too big of a fan of strong scented products. My favorite scent for call freshener, candle, hand soap, cream etc is ROSE WATER & IVY! It has a soft freshening smell which I am a huge fan of. Their candles can be pricey (~$24). However, if you join their email list, you can see that they do have sales throughout the year and they even lower the price to $5 per candle (3-wick) so make sure to have an eye out for the sales! My mom's favorite sale is one body fragrance (buy 3 get 3 off). She usually stocks us fragrances to gift to her family and friends. Customer service is amazing here! If you are not satisfied with the product, you can literally exchange is for another product of anything and pay the difference. This place doesn't even require you to have receipt in order to exchange the products! Staff, here, is always willing to help with any inquiries and I always see them smiling! I have always been greeted when I walk in and one employee even remembers me and my favorite scents so she's quick to offer new seasonal scents she thinks I'd like. There is almost always a sale of some sort going on and if you sign up for emails you can sometimes get an additional $10 off which helps since you can find yourself going a little crazy with all the scents and options. read more

I took three items to the elk grove location which tried to give me "credit," for 3 items they offered me $6 and some change, i took my items and left! I was not impressed and very disappointed in this location. I was not greeted at the door or at any point throughout the store. I was shopping on my own and had a worker grab a candle from out and under me for another customer without saying "excuse me" or any kind of intervening polite words. I ended up saying "oh I'm sorry" when she had reached under me... talk about uncomfortable. I waited in line to check out and scan my app for a reward from the points I have accumulated. I was told "oh that's an LA thing, we don't scan those here." In my experience of customer service, even if your store location doesn't offer the same service, maybe try offering something else? The representative asked her store manager who said no we can't waive that item - which was a body scrub. Lol. You have plenty of room to offer something else, which I was going to make an additional purchase anyway. However, with the lack of customer service and friendliness, I said seeeee ya, instead. This Bath & Body works is clean and organized plus it's easy to walk around in. All the girls who were working here were so nice when I went in for a purchase. When I told her that I was looking for candles, she walked me over to the section and guiding me towards the scent that I generally prefer (flowers, fruity, or clean scent...etc.). Nay saw that I didn't have a basket to carry all of the items and quickly found one for me to use. Kudos to her again! I don't like leaving bad review, but this experience needs to be heard. I just wish the staff here would be more fair to their customers. We were just here to pick up some hand lotions today and I get it, sales and holiday shopping makes things a bit crazy. The line was long and we were next, but then one of the staff decided to split up the line to two bringing customers in the back of the line up and ringing them up before us. When the cashier put up her flag for the next customer we went up the same time as the customer from the second line and was told that they were taking customer from the second line and we had to wait for the other cashier. This location is not bad... but not my favorite. The management needs to really do a deep dive into how the place looks. It's just not clean or organized at all. I think the associates just toss the items on the shelves and call it good. I feel like the associates are just too busy playing on their phones to care about their job too. You can't get much help unless you actually go find someone. So, why am I giving them 3-stars? I think they have potential if management gets their associates in gear and after searching I found what I was looking for which I couldn't find at the Arden location. The store is small but clean they lack more floor help for customers service they also do not have products that are lanolin free or clear and free most products are animal derived. As I asked a person on the floor if they had any lanolin free products she didn't know what I was talking about. I'm allergic to the product unfortunately. But they smell wonderfully read more

This is a great addition to Delta Shores. I usually frequent here when I'm shopping at other stores as well. The store is nice and clean. It also still seems like new. It's a smaller store like the other Elk Grove location but they still have a great variety of products. The only downside here (and why I can't give a 5-star rating) is there is no cell reception if you're AT&T. This is a problem if you have a coupon or want to use the RetailMeNot app for coupons and savings. You can connect to WiFi but its from another store next door. It wasn't a great WiFi connection either. I found it was slower than what I'm used to. Just be prepared to have your email open or snapshot the coupon for them to scan before you go into the store. read more

This is my third time shopping at this location since the Delta shores opened. I have to say, that every single time that I have come in, I've had a superb shopping experience with them. All of their associates have been helpful and genuinely friendly. Yesterday I walked in with my mom who was having severe leg pain. Liz and Jasaya (wrong spelling, sorry) immediately brought my mother a chair to sit and offered to continue to shop for her. They both went above and beyond to make our shopping experience a great one. They were both super helpful and kind. Although this store is new it's always a hot mess every time I come in, all the employees are nice extremely helpful and willing to help you find anything. The only problem is they're out of most items all the time. Also the clientele is less than ordinary. You can get extremely ghetto in a matter of minutes. The last time I went and there was a lady trying getting for a cash refund on candles she had stolen, it got pretty ugly when the clerks decided to not give her the cash money. Super ugly situation and I was completely on the side of the clerks, you can't help your clientele, but I'm telling you it's pretty rough. I ended up leaving and going to the Elk Grove store. Like I said the employees go above and beyond their extremely nice, it's not their fault they put a candle store in a kind of shady area. So last year I worked at the bbw at the eg location during seasonal, the manager Marilyn was awesome. But the ass. Paulina was a straight bitch! And alot of the reg staff was not friendly either. But some were. So I told myself I would never go back to that store to shop again. So when I found out DS had a bbw I was so excited! The first time I went was during the candle sale & all the reg staff including the seasonal were amazing. The girl at the reg let me use all my coupons so I could get the most off with the discounts. I saved even more money. I went yesterday because I have 2 stacks if coupons, Liz was amazing and helped me use the coupons again so I could get the best deals, I did Do like 3 transactions, and she was very patient. I went in today to do an exchange on room fragrances my husband didn't care for. That was cool with me - what was cooler was my experience with the staff. They took the return - no questions - gave me store credit - all professional and above board. I noticed what I thought to be a manager assisting all over the store. To my transaction and customers, assisting others working on the floor. He was on fire and is the highest level of customer service I have seen in a long time. I've never bothered to go shopping there on Black Friday. They couldn't even follow through with their coupons. I'd rather spend my money where they follow through with their coupons and don't lie to me. I came in to use my coupons on Black Friday. Free Item: Up to $13.50 and $10 off $30. I bought some items and decided to return them since it wasn't even Buy 3, Get 3 Free. It's Buy 3, Get 3 HALF OFF. They added up to $98! After returning 12 of the hand soaps out of 17 items, they tell me that since they can't find my $10 off $30 coupon code anymore, I wouldn't be able to use it. I just left and came back a few minutes later! There was barely anyone there too! How can you not find it?! This is so upsetting! I know that there are ways to put in the damn code yourself.
