Great little shop! They had all the ingredients I needed. Plus a few I like to just have on hand.

They talk, read, study, meet up, and exist together for a while. There's a different energy here that makes you want to slow down and be part of it. I love this place!!!!! There's more than just coffee and books here; there's a little community. There's a bulletin board filled with flyers for local happenings, book clubs, celebrations, etc. I came here one weekend to study and it, thankfully, wasn't too busy. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, there's WiFi, and a fair amount of seating. I can see this place getting packed during peak hours. One thing I noticed right away was a small book club meeting happening near where I was working. It helped me relax while I was focusing on my work! I think that's why so many of us like working in coffee shops... you can be alone while still feeling connected to other people around you. I'll definitely be back, not just for the coffee, but for the genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Thanks !

As it's my first time here, I did order a drink -- a custom drink -- a chocolate chai $8.49. A little pricey but the drink was very good! I checked out the books and they have a nice selection and some freebies available as well. Would definitely recommend, lovely location and very kind staff. Looking forward to returning here, again, in the future.

I like to get my mom large print mysteries books whenever I can and the small section they have in front of the libraries is hit and miss. I have gotten her so many and resonated them back I was starting to get the same ones again so I thought I'd come here and WOW there is a huge section of large print. They have sales and specials you would want to get in on if you read a lot also they have odd hours so make sure they are open before you make the drive. Parking can be tricky, on the day I went I was lucky and found a spot by the door but I saw many people parking out on street and walking in. It's located in a warehouse area so be prepared to walk a bit if they are full. It's pretty large in there and they have every kind of book imaginable come check them out!

The store was on the smaller side, but actually bigger than I expected in looking from the outside. The had some unique books. They had a children's section in the back of the store, and it looks like they do story time events and other things. The store was also quite busy! There is parking on the street and as well as the street behind the store. Overall, a charming little shop!

As others have mentioned, the selection has some gaps, but I imagine you could easily order a book you want that isn't in stock. I enjoyed browsing the shelves and seeing employee recommendations. When I made it to the poetry selection, I was happy to see that it wasn't all mainstream or classic poets, and I ended up picking up a few new collections. There's an extensive children's and young adult section in the back, and the store also sells things like book-related jewelry, some cards, and a ton of cute stickers (I may have gone overboard on buying some of those). They also sell local zines, which I think is awesome. If you make a zine, you can contact them to see about selling them in the store. The front table has free bookmarks, handouts, community announcements, etc., and the person at the register let me put some of my zines on the table for people to take for free. All in all, a cute spot, and one I'd visit regularly if I lived in town.

Ok since I last visited they have updated their inventory nicely…read more I'm still really disappointed by the bootleg keychains, washi tape, acrylic stands and stickers! They are very obviously using stolen art, unofficial fanart on products by individual artists is great but not this drop-shipping crap :(! please do better this has the potential to be the best anime store in Sacramento. That being said, from what I can tell all of the figures and most of the merch is legit. Most of the inventory they have added is real products that are pretty reasonably priced. I cannot vouch for the plush sections legitimacy since I'm not an expert in that market. Just be cautious with what you're purchasing since there are bootlegs mixed in with their inventory. The wallscroll they have hanging is obviously fake but they only sell real licensed funimation ones so that's funny. Stationary is really great quality (aside the stolen art washi tape) with some hard to find brands! Reasonable prices as well! If you're looking for calligraphy materials or specialty illustration stuff this is a great stop. Some great stickers as well ^^ They also carry a large selection of japanese snacks and candy. Manga section is mostly shounen. There's a small selection of tcg imports so if you're looking for Japanese Pokémon packs you can find those here as well.
