I don't always come to bath n body works but I came bcuz my friend had a gift card, and even tho she took forever to shop, I was there for moral support. I also unexpectedly got something for myself, and while I was in the process of paying for those, I was asking the lady how much one of the object was. She just stayed quite and didn't say anything, she didn't even greet me once I got to the counter. I asked her again and she told me to give her a minute when she hasn't giving me any kind of answer, even a simple, "idk but I'll check" I would have a appreciate. But she just stood with a bland look on her face. I didn't catch her name since her hair was covering her name tag, but she had medium length brown hair, 5'2, and probably around 16 yrs old. Went in recently in search of a gift basket with a variety of products. They don't have many premade options but an employee, Andreas, was very helpful. He gave me several options to put together a basket of products of my choosing which they would package for me. During checkout he kindly pointed out that one of the products was on sale, 5 for $8 & I had only grabbed 4. He proved to be very helpful and is an asset to this company. read more

It's absolutely TRUE. Real men DO shop at Bath & Body Works, and quite frankly...it's really enjoyable at the Santa Maria location. This is the fourth time I have walked into this particular location (it's in the Mall) and walk out with products, that I thoroughly enjoyed, using in the home or giving as gifts to my Spouse, Daughter, Mother and my daughter's Godmother. Sign up for an "on-line account" and earn points for your purchases. The store is neat and clean, smells great and is well merchandised. The Associates are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Weeks prior, I visited this location searching for a certain "Wall Flower" scent refill. (By the way..."WALL FLOWERS" are relatively inexpensive, refills last about one month and they make your home smell really nice!) I was helped by an Associate, who came up with the Eucalyptus and Spearmint refills I was looking for. When I returned this time (to pick up a free "earned" reward) this FABULOUS Associate (Lydia) actually REMEMBERED me, as well as the scent of refill I purchased! NICE! Kudos Lydia...the Customer Service you give, will definitely keep patrons coming in...well done! Therefore, due to ANOTHER "feel-good" shopping experience, in this Yelper's opinion, the Bath & Body Works in Santa Maria has truly earn this "highly recommend" 5 Star review! read more

As we walked by Bath and Bodywork I noticed the sign in front of the store $10.50 candles. When we walked in the store we were greeted by Jonathan who told us about the sales and great deals they were having. *If you download their app and spend $25 you'll receive 20% off your purchase. What a deal !!! I found the sweetpea scented car freshener I've been looking for and a watermelon 3 wic candle. I enjoy shopping here the employees are so polite and friendly, will assist to you if you have any questions. The store is always clean and smells so yummy (that's a given). Went in yesterday looking for a lotion set. Was attended by a gentlemen , greeted me asked what brought me in I let him know I was looking for a lotion set he handed me a gift box set with a lotion and body wash I believe , my first reaction was to open it and smell it I put a small drop of lotion on my hand and he rudely told me "that's not a tester " and took the box from me and walked away . He came back out and didn't even attend me anymore. As a joke I wanted to ask him if he threw that box away, made me feel like I had germs .
