I have not had the best experience in Lowe's since they went from specialists that could answer questions about your projects, to generalists who really can not provide the help I was used to. Tonight I had what seemed like a bad experience filled with mud information, but then one employee was amazing. Leshaka came out in the cold to collect carts just before closing. She asked if she could help to which I said I was fine. She still insisted on helping me and handed the boards I was loading to me despite the 37 degree weather. Drivers sent to deliver my washer and dryer had no drivers license, did not know their social security number, valid car insurance or have a proper background check completed to get on to Barksdale Air Force Base. 3 times I had to reschedule hopefully they can get their process and checks straight to deliver. Time wasted to wait for the delivery only to find out the drivers are driving without proper documentation. Such an inconvenience. read more

I was in the Youree drive store and just like it has been the past 7 times I've been in there, there are employees standing around talking to eachother not waiting on customers at all. I finally got so mad I left. They need to train their employees better and actually teach customer service instead of them standing around looking at me like im disturbing them or something read more

Today I tried to get help at Lowe's on Youree Drive for almost an hour before I gave up and left. There are numerous workers walking back and forth but no one ever showed up despite my asking several people for help, having them page for help and nothing.... I finally went to the "Pro" desk as well to try to get help in the lock department. I finally returned my purchase (the key wouldn't pull out of the lock) and got my money back. I went to Walmart and bought a Brinks lock. I've used this particular store for more than 10 years, but when I have to buy anything that is fairly expensive I head straight to Home Depot, which is much farther away but there is usually a very knowledgeable person there to answer questions and make suggestions. I don't blame the employees for this but I'm discouraged from going back to wait an hour for help and then give up and go somewhere else. read more

Update for the carpet install that's now delayed yet again. 2.14.2020 - Installation was scheduled to take place between 9a - 11am, CST. I WRITE THIS AFTER SUCH TO DOCUMENT the late arrival. 1.18.2020 - Carpet contract completed and paid for via phone. 1.20.2020- Keller interior sends text confirming special order completed. 1.25.2020 - Carpet was supposed to arrive. 2.5.2020 - I text the number that writes me asking for an ETA. See pictures. NO REPLY. 2.7.2020 - Carpet finally arrives or so Keller Interior finally calls to schedule an install. I call back in 6minutes and get the vociemail. No one calls back until the next business day. 2.10.2020 - schedule for the 1st available. That's Friday, Feb. 14th between 9a - 11am. I'm informed that they don't break down beds nor put them back together. Nor will they move mirrors attached to dressers. With his personality he belongs in a cubicle somewhere, not interacting with the public. Makes you wonder how he got that job anyway. The help you'll find here is useless. Terrible service from Tatiana at Service Pros - do not recommend using this contractor. We had a new backsplash installed 11/3/23 and I am still waiting for them to fix a problem that they caused. None of our electric wall plates will go in because they pushed them too far into the wall and made them not flush with the backsplash. After repeated calls, Tatiana told us that we would have to pay to have that repaired due to "unforeseen circumstances". We have lived in this house for 30 years and the wall plates have always been in the same place, so not sure how their error turned into anything unforeseen. Also they never even bothered to come look at what the problem is. I won't be using Lowe's again ever due to terrible customer service from their contractor. Ordered some sealant online. Go to get order and I pull up at the curb side pick up and call the number. First, the extension given does not work. After four tries I finally get someone who says they don't do curbside anymore. I inform him of what the signs say and that I just picked up something last week with curb side. I then get ok man, hi be me 20 to 30 minutes and I'll try to get it out to you. What a shit show. Now I call to cancel and get a refund and not a person will answer. This is at 4pm on a Wednesday. My local company probably spends 5 to 6 thousand bucks a month at this very Lowe's but I think after this we are done. read more

This shreveport location was the most unprofessional place I have ever experienced in my entire life!!! The staff is very rude, and I hate to put it like this but just lazy!!! Walked around for a hour trying to find my customer service agent who was supposed to be helping me with some pool side chase lounge chairs for my patio/pool area. She was blatantly rude when I found her and asked were the chairs were she was getting from the back in storage for me that I purchased. Long story short I had to go back there find them and drag them to my vehicle. Employees constantly walking by and no one asked if they could be of assistance and help obviously anyone could see I was struggling and could use assistance. Went to store to buy some large major equipment. My leg is in a air cast from a injury they were No carts for lumber or flat bed carts in the store yet employees were standing around talking when I stumbled outside with my leg they turned around afraid I might ask for help. Found a cart and took back in where I had to sweep concrete dust off of it And still no help. This has to be one of the poorest stores for customer service I've ever encountered. Most of staff would do anything but help you. Only drove 30 minutes to this one because other with better service had sold all there product probably from helping customers. It's a big name hardware/home improvement store. It has become a highly visited stop over the last few years to tackle home projects. Staff are friendly if you approach them first and ask a question. Don't expect to be helped without asking for assistance. Overall they've been outstanding since they even offer a military discount. read more

Be wary when having bathroom remodel work done. The contractor that was working through lowe's was very receptive punctual and professional. However Lowe's ordered the wrong products, were hard to contact and caused a two week job to take two months that is still not complete. Don't waste your time trying to contact corporate because they treat customers just like the local stores do. I come to Lowes because it's near where I work but other than location Lowe's blows. They should say welcome to "slows." I just stepped up to the registers with some other customers at 8am and there was literally no one at the registers. We all could have just walked out with whatever we wanted! We just sat there and waited. As a contractor I come there regularly and spend a lot of money but good luck finding anyone to help you find what you want and spend your money there. Came into store to purchase some lumber I needed 7 total cuts made after a 20 min wait He finally showed up only to tell me he could only do 5 cuts company policy. I then asked if I can do 2 separate checkouts or just pay a fee to have them cut he said he couldn't do that. An all time Low. Do not purchase appliances from this Lowe's location. They use Universal Plumbing for installations. Purchased dishwasher from Lowe's. Paid for installation of the new one and removal of the old one which worked. UP came out and began installing the new one but they found it to be defective. UP left the old washer in my kitchen area and the new but defective one that would not power up too. Demanded $100 from ME to plug old one back in. (I was afraid the tech was putting that in his pocket). I at least wanted the old one that worked plugged back in. No! They left with both in kitchen area and me having no working dishwasher. Do not do business with UP or Lowe's at this location. Lowe's will not make UP come back out and help. They have not even offered a discount for all the inconvenience, time lost, etc. Remember, I paid for a new washer and for installation weeks ago. Shreveport, LA -The morning started off beautifully, no rain in sight for the first time in days so off to Lowes we went for some flowers and material for his honey-do list. Found some badly neglected plants on clearance (which I enjoy trying to bring back to life) so when he got done we went to check out in the garden center. One register and 10 people in line with no help in sight so we went inside to checkout. Soon as we walked up we were snarled at, almost to the point you want to apologize for being in her line.Several of the items had a clearance sticker but no barcode and one with a barcode but no sticker. She tells us that we have to get someone from lawn/garden to write on it so she can price it.She tries to call someone but they didnt answer because they were swamped, the lady walking around came over and said to have someone take it to the back and write a code, anyone could do it, that it didn't have to be a cashier. With no one around offering, my husband offers to take the ones back there to have a price put on. When I turned around to tell the people behind me that we may be a minute in case they were in a hurry she steps out from behind the register and said I cleared you out thats why I asked you to go back there or step aside because you aint holding up my line. I told her I was sorry that we misunderstood, we thought we just needed a price tag and I could wait while he ran over there. We were pretty close and saw an associate free. I asked her why she was being ugly that I didn't know the rules and instead of trying to say anything else to me She then just waived the guy behind me around me told him to come on- with my stuff still on the counter, so much for social distancing. We are risking our lives to spend our hard earned money there only to be treated like trash. We ended up back in line in the garden center, get to the register only to be told the exact same thing, she apparently could not sell it without a barcode either, even though there were price stickers and a free associate. So I went to try to find one that did have a barcode, she was bagging everything up when I got back so I thought that someone helped on the other ones but when I got to the car I saw she charged me full price for them. I was shaking with frustration when I left and WILL NOT be back. On a rant - very disappointed in Lowe's (Youree Dr.) Order two items on line - everything was in stock. Go to pick up one of the items ... nope not there - but it's in their system. They say it will have to be ordered (don't know if it's on the next truck or not) ... get a notice it's available for pick-up ... 5 different times! Since July 4th - Nope --- not there --- this last time to employees thought it was funny because now I am really annoyed. What we spend in that store is probably more than some of the annual income of some of the people that work there. Bought a mower - I was very specific that I did not want the "display" unit delivered ... bring me one in the crate ... what do they do? Bring me the display unit ... how do I know ... dumb asses for got to take the lock off. I no longer trust Lowe's, this is just the catalyst .... I went to Lowes today to buy 11 2X8X16 treated boards I was met in the store by a young man named Victor who asked if he could help me. He helped me find the boards load them on a cart and then helped me place them on the back of my trailer. In a day where no service is the rule Victor was first class..
