My boyfriend immediately taken out without cause and questioned. I was placed in the back of the cop car and I'm so grateful the gentlemen were kind. My car was searched and I was made to feel less as my history of being an ulta member was there. The staff is very incompetent and it's so sad to see this world has not overcome the generational division. My boyfriend owns multiple businesses and I am blessed to say I have a career in finance. That night was very very eye opening as a woman.

Today we visited Lush in Nashville at the Mall at Green Hills, located at 2126 Abbott Martin Rd. The team members greeted us as we walked in and were super nice, offering assistance and demos but this was a quick visit as we popped in on our way to lunch. The shop was nicely laid out with bath bombs being displayed on the wall in the back. I've only ever seen this done in shops in the UK and Ireland so that was fun! It was very spacious, well-stocked and easy to navigate.

I was so bummed that we squeezed in a quick stop back at the market on our way out of town to replace them. I was telling the owner what happened and how I was so excited to try them that we had to replace them that he replaced them free of charge! My friend and I had booked a candle making class for Valentine's Day Weekend (Galantine's Day for…read moreus! LOL) but we had a snafu with mother nature that made us reschedule to March 9th, 2025 for 2 pm. Neither of us had been here before but I have taken candle making classes in another state. Jennifer, the owner immediately came downstairs (it's 2 floors) and told us to start smelling some candles to kind of get an idea fo what we wanted when we got upstairs to the workshop. The downstairs is a very cutesy, boutique style shop with of course candles, gifts, greeting cards, candle accessories, drinking glasses, sticker, you name it. Even her displays and decor was oh so cute I could not stop looking at it or complimenting her!. I kinda already knew/know what kind of scents I like but my friend took a little longer to figure it out so I of course found more things to purchase lol. Once my friend was done, we went upstairs to the workshop. Oh gosh, upstairs is just as cute if not MORE!. It had a full size kitchen, the workshop area and a middle seating area with a couch and other decor. If you want, you can bring food and drinks to the glass. Once upstairs she had a place set up for me and my friend with everything we would need to make a candle. We both decided we wanted two candles once we were there as well. You prepay for the class for 1 and we added an additional. She went thru the many scents she has to choose from and ways to layer them. She also offer different vessels if you want to upgrade from the original one you get with the glass. Prices were very, very reasonable I thought on everything, even the gift items. A bigger group of ladies came in about 30 min after us and she worked with both of us. Me and my friend ended up being there about 2 hours total, but I think normal time is about an hour. You do have to go back and get your candle once it sets or she can ship it to you. I opted to go pick ours up because I was off later in the week anyway. This is a great place to have a little fun and an amazing place if you love candles like I do. I highly recommend coming here if only for the gifts. I adore how community-minded they are- almost everything in the store is intentionally curated and locally sourced. They carry everything from greeting cards (these were some of the best I've ever seen) and stationery to home goods and apparel. There's so much life and personality inside and out! Even the smallest of details like their take on the traditional "Please don't steal" signs are fun. The owners are absolutely rad. One gal chatted with me as I poked around the store and shared so many tidbits about their products, local makers they support, and the community Thunder Moon Collective is curating. You can really tell that they are so in love with what they do. Supporting local and shopping small is so heartwarming here and everywhere.
