I went into this store to potentially buy all new makeup because I was out of town with family. My boyfriend and I were profiled and when I felt it I bought a couple of items and returned what I needed. As we left the store my truck was surrounded by Spring Hill police. My boyfriend immediately taken out without cause and questioned. I was placed in the back of the cop car and I'm so grateful the gentlemen were kind. My car was searched and I was made to feel less as my history of being an ulta member was there. The staff is very incompetent and it's so sad to see this world has not overcome the generational division. My boyfriend owns multiple businesses and I am blessed to say I have a career in finance. I love the salon team at ULTA! I was looking for a place open on Mondays and was fortunate to have a salon color service with Haili. She was remarkable. Friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I specifically appreciated how she asked me questions to get the perfect color blend and placement for my haircut that I would be happy with. I found my place in Franklin and so will you. Will never try to book another appt again for this salon. I had tried 3 times over the last month to book an appt for my son, would have the appt scheduled and each time I was called and was told the stylist needed to cancel, even made my appts with different stylists each time in hopes to avoid my son being let down again for not being able to get his hair done. Purchased 1 item - Philosophy body wash, the last on hand. In fact, it was "Back Stock". Got it home; it had been OPENED. And USED. Great... Phoned Megan, who was very helpful. Advised me that I had 60 days to return the item. Yay, as I live an hour away. Spent MY time and MY gas to return 1 single item. Showed the partially peeled back protective paper cap and the crud on the threaded lid to employee Destine. Obviously previously used. Nope! per Destine. Who deemed to argue with me that it was Damaged. Definitely not Used. Hmm...no dent, no scratched bottle... Will not be returning to this Ulta location. This is not their first review complaining of previously used items being returned to the shelf. read more

This is the worst Ulta. Girls are always so unprofessional. I walked in, the two girls at the front were too busy discussing personal information instead of helping. The service in store is really good and the staff is really nice and helpful. The problem that I run into is that there is an issue with open products in boxes on the shelf that have been returned and have been restocked for sale. The free gifts with purchase seem to be an issue as well. I use the App to look at sale items, most of the time I purchase the ones that have the free gift next to it. Everytime I go to this store there is excuses that they do not give the gifts, they say its online only! Sephora for me holds a much nicer policy in this department, they honor the CUSTOMER. read more

If I had the option to give no stars, I would. Stepping foot into this Ulta is the ultimate mistake! I stopped by this Ulta for the very first time and last time last week. I've never been treated so rudely! I worked in retail for 15 years, I understand how stressful it can be and it takes its toll on a person. HOWEVER, I went into the store about 5:45-ish looking for some particulars and even suggestions for new products. Do you know that I asked THREE employees for help?! Three. One gave me a sigh and a "hang on" and walked away with a bag in her hand. One walked right past me as I said "excuse me ma'am..." and kept going. The last one said "yeah sure, be right there." And never came back. I browsed around for about 30-35 minutes thinking they would eventually come back through and check on me again. Nope. Not once. I finally settled on a few items and went to pay. The second girl I'd asked for help was at the register, she asked me if I had found everything okay. For a minute, I just stared at her. Seriously?! I told her "no, I didn't. I couldn't get anyone to help me." She shrugged and said "sorry bout that". I finished paying and left...FUMING! She didn't even say thank you, have a nice day, kiss my butt...nothing. I will never be back & I will make sure to tell everyone I know to save themselves the trouble as well!! Very rude!!! read more

Due to holidays could not get into my regular hairstylist and decided a root touch up shouldn't be difficult. Scheduled my appointment online for 5:30 pm. this morning I got a call to come in at 5 due to closing time at 6pm. I arrived at 5pm and the stylist was not ready for me so I waited. At 535 she sat me down in the chair and I explained I did not want my roots dark I needed 50% of 5&6 level mix as this is what my stylist said I should tell them. She did not agree and when she washed my hair I could tell it was dark still I thought oh well I can live with this. She asked me if I wanted a blow out I have curly hair I said yes please! She proceeds to try and dry my hair in a hurry and burns my scalp I yell ouch and she doesn't apologize so the next time she burns my scalp I pulled away hard. When she finished my hair was a frizzy mess and I had dark black streaks on my face forehead and she says oh I don't have wipes you can clean at home with alcohol!!! read more

Went today, walked into friendly service. I checked out the brow bar, I was nervous about getting them done at a retail store, but Ulta only allows license estheticians to actually perform the spa treatments. Elizabeth did my Brows and they are on FLEEK ;) Elizabeth was very Knowledgeable, very professional and just sweet. You take care of her Ulta! I'm going to need her there to do them again. The staff and salon here at the Spring Hill Ulta is the best! Jessica is THE BEST Esthetician! I only see her for my facials and Miranda/Kelsey in the salon for hair. beautiful store, usually very clean and nice. but the employees are hit or miss. sometimes they're wonderful and sweet and other times, like today, not so much. everything was great until i went to check out. the girl, blonde and probably 18-20 years old, looked me up and down and sluggishly asked "what's a good phone number" so i gave her my number, she scanned my items, gave me my total and handed me my bag saying "the reciept's in there." now i've worked in retail awhile and it REALLY doesn't take much to just smile and say hello. the receipt says Erika, don't know if it's right or not. i'll continue to come here just because it's close to home but it's just annoying how i never know what to expect. read more

I went into this Ulta store for the very first time Sunday. It was not very crowded, I was not greeted once. I saw the workers interacting with other customers as they walked in the door, but not me. I was curious about their eyebrow and haircutting services. But could not find anyone to help me. I was very disappointed because I was so excited to check out the store for the first time. read more

So when I first booked the appointment to get my hair colored, I was super nervous. I rarely get my hair done and have never gotten it colored professionally, so I was already timid about going in. However, the moment I walked up to the salon counter I was immediately greeted and felt like I was at home. Rachel listened to every thing I talked to her about concerning my hair and did exactly what I asked for, and more! She also wasn't awkward or overly talkative, she knew when to talk and when to let me relax and enjoy my experience. At the end of the session, I fell in love with my hair and for the first time I actually felt beautiful. Rachel is by far an amazing asset to this company and the Spring Hill store and I hope Ulta values her as much as I did during my experience! read more

If I could give this place 0 starts I would. I had 2 appointments one for makeup and hair. My makeup started out by the lady making my eyebrows red then black even tho my hair is blonde maybe light brown. After 2 tries she asked if she could wax my eyebrow to get a better shape and I said yes but we now know that she waxed my skin off. All of my face makeup or foundation etc was a mess it was literally almost peeling off my face she wasn't very sanitary either she was using the applicators from the testers. Another lady who I believe was the manager came over and tried to fix my makeup and she was very nice but my Makeup was still turned out bad for my graduation and we ended up having to take it all of anyway because it was a blotchy mess and half of it already faded away and no makeup would even stick to my face where she waxed my skin off. My hair was also a mess it turned out well after she did it but it all fell out within the hour and my hair was just completely straight. All in all I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO ULTA AGAIN ESPECIALLY THIS ONE. read more
