On 5/26/26, I returned to the clinic for the second time in 10 days for the same condition. I…read morethought it was unusual that they did not repeat the urinalysis . But, the PA said they would give me a stronger antibiotic. Two or three weeks, I received a bill from LabCorp for a urine culture. I went to the clinic to explain the situation and was directed to call their business office. Three days later, a "medical assistant" telephoned me to say she would look at my chart and get back with me. After 2 1/2 weeks without a return call, I emailed a person in management at this business office. Without a reply for two weeks, I telephoned again and left a message. Yesterday , the medical assistant telephoned me, apologizing for the delay, stating she would visit the clinic and look at my chart. Today, she telephoned me stating there was a note on my chart, indicating a urine specimen was taken and sent to the lab. I am in shock and disbelief that Coastal Urgent Care sent a specimen in my name that I DID NOT give them. Beware, if they did this to me, you could me next.

After her botch job, trying to pop my abscess, and prescription of a measly cream...my condition became worse. I had to go to a dermatologist. Turns out I had a staph infection!! The derm had to drain me, on two separate days. I needed 3 antibiotics... Had I listened to the nurse practitioners advice, I could have ended up in the hospital! I spent 6 days in pain, running fever. It took three weeks to heal. Had it been properly treated, I would NOT have had to go through that. Front desk staff is RUDE. Office manager is even RUDER. Was at a charity skeet shoot up on the Livingston-St Helena Parish line when I got lazy with my supporting hand which I let slide down the forestock on my pump shotgun... Outcome was I thought I'd endured the "pump pinch" on my pinky finger but in fact had damn near sliced the tip of my pinky finger clean off... Called them up and asked if they could handle the job of sewing it back on...they said sure we can...so I saddled up and headed that way (preferred to get my doctoring close to home since I didn't know of any places to handle the job where I was)... walked in showed them the situation and they handled up... Pleased with the work...and will use them in the future not only because they did a bang up job for me but they are also extremely convenient to my place of residence...

I recommend them to anyone who needs to be seen quickly and can't get into see their normal physocian. It's always a great experience when my kids or I have gone there. Not a long wait and they make sure you are on the road to recovery. Wonderful experience the PA also instructed me on how to massage the area to help it heal. This was my first year getting my mammogram done at this facility and I really liked how efficient…read morethey were. To begin with there's plenty of parking. It was nice not having to drive around and look for a parking spot or have to park a mile away. There's also hardly a wait time anywhere. There were enough receptionists so I didn't wait to get checked in and then I think I only waited 4 or 5 min. in the waiting area and then the mammographer came and got me. The room was very clean and she was really nice and efficient. I liked being able to get in and out.

I get so emotional going to these types of places. My mind goes to people with live threatening…read moreillness, seeking care. The fear and worry they are dealing with. I went for an MRI on my back from a car accident. My attendant was Tyler and he was great. I'm goofy all day every day, and I had many goofy moments, just like I always do. I had a weird emotional reaction when it was time for me to get on in the machine. But he reassured me everything g was fine and that I had no need to worry. I will say, do not underestimate how loud it is. They do give you earmuffs, but it's still loud thru it

Dr. Gulino has been my older child's pediatrician for 3 years and my younger child's since birth, 1…read moreyear. She is terrific and makes both sick and well visits easy and informative. I always go in with a list of questions and she's never seemed rushed to leave without answering them. She's even patient with addressing concerns about the child whose visit it isn't. The reason for the 3 stars is that We saw one other physician right after my younger child was born and had a completely different experience. That physician was gruff and short and I felt I was annoying her with my questions regarding my then 2 day old infant. They also billed us the wrong amount - actIlly changing the CPT code after the fact to a higher charge. It took a months to get to the bottom of that but eventually the office manager at the time refunded our money. Their office policies can be frustrating but understandable that they require payment before seeing the doctor. I will however never see another doctor there and if Dr. Gulino ever left we'd find a new provider at a different facility. The nurses are also hit or miss as to how they act. I have seen some smoking outside the building which bothered me greatly but luckily we've never had one enter the exam room smelling like smoke. Dr. Gulino and the triage nurse are also both very responsive to emails.
