Back in 2017, we purchased a home in Belleview, and as the rainy season began, we discovered a leak coming down in our West Garage wall. We called BatterBee, and a young man came out, knew exactly what was causing the leak, and got right to fixing it. Never had another problem. This year, 2025, we decided because the house was aging and it was now after Hurricane season, we decided to replace our roof. Anthony Bax came out, explained what the project would involve, and the cost. We signed right away, knowing we had the Right company for the replacement of our roof. They took all the precautions to safeguard our shrubs, flowerbeds, and windows, covering them with netting. They even laid a tarp down in the driveway before bringing in their dumpster to collect the old roofing shingles. In two days, we had a new roof. The first thing I noticed was how quiet the house had become. We live 2-3 blocks from the four railroad crossings where the train horn alerts each and every time at each crossing. We can no longer hear the trains. We had our house painted last year ( 2024 ) in a light gray. We chose " Pacific Ocean Shingle in a two-tone gray color in Owens Corning shingles and couldn't be more pleased with the results of the new roof. We also got a lifetime warranty against Leaks, with all materials and labor covered. Our Warranty is Transferable, which is a great selling point when we are ready to sell. read more

Back in 2017 Batterbee installed our roof, and did an amazing job. After the heavy rains on Monday we discovered a leak. I called and they set up an appointment on the first call . Today the Sales Rep "Rhett" came out , great person for sure, explained everything and found the issue and addressed it right away! Will continue to use Batterbee for all our roofing needs! I would go 1 star. Roof looks ok from what I can see Don't want to void the warrant. Not great at metal work around some areas. Had a solar skylight put in at the same time the roof was complete. Had some minor cracking in the ceiling around solar tube. Had to fix AC ducts since they were not working (kinked), also had to fix garage door opener (wire in attic was pulled out) read more

I called Batterbee roofing about warranty claim for Tamko shingle warranty. Jason showed up and said yes, the shingles are bad and should be under warranty and he would get the information to me to about filing a claim and then NOTHING. I have texted him at least four times after he said he would get the information to me as soon as he got to a computer. Well, I called the office on 08/25 1:10 PM and spoke with someone that said a sales manager or Jason would get in contact with me, guess what? NOTHING. A couple of years ago, I called them to see if they could inspect my roof, as my insurance was going up if I did not replace it. They came out, went up on my roof, looked all around and came down and said my roof was fine and did not need to be replaced. They could have sold me a roof at that time, but opted to tell me the truth. I love companies that do that. read more

Recently had a a roofing job done by Battery bee. The instillation was a disaster. Shingle delivery truck cracked my driveway. They backed a 60,000 lb truck up on a residential drive way that is built to hand 8,000 lbs . You think a licensed roofing contractor would know better., but they don't give as shit because its is not their home. Installers picked up 75 lb bundles of shingles and thew them around the roof resulting the house and windows shaking, violently , ceiling light blinking on and off, computer screens being unreadable, inability to make phone calls because of the 120 +DB noise level. drywall seams bursting in every room of the house and drywall screw popping out of the ceiling. The damage Batterbee caused is estimated a $5,000 to $7,000 . The production manager admitted this is contrary to company policy and industry instillation standards, because it can cause significant damage but his employees get" careless "and then this happens. Batterbee is refusing to accept responsibility for the damage. Batterbee Roofing is good at making promises, damaging driveways and causing significant damage to the drywall in your house and then walking away and your stuck with the repair cost. If you use Batterbee roofing for your next roofing project plan that it will cost you and additional 30% of the contract price to fix all the damage they cause . . read more

Very professional Batterbee Roofing did my home and my rental home, always doing a superior job. I recommend them highly. They have also done my friends' homes in which my friends have been very happy with the results. I have made over 20 recommendations, (although my name is not used per my wishes, being an elected local area official). At my rental home, Jose and his team were the best roofers ever. This rental home roof is a showstopper. It is fantastic. Batterbee Roofing has always had excellent pricing, the best roofing warranties, and friendly, cheerful, and helpful employees. We had a new roof put on in July 2024. Charles, our sales manager, was awesome. The crew that installed the new roof was fantastic. They took their time and worked tirelessly in extreme heat. The clean up was perfect. Although it was expensive, I believe we received a superior product with a great warranty. The problem comes with their referral program and "free cruise". There is no follow-up, nor will anyone return our phone calls nor follow up on e-mails we have sent. Our neighbor referred us, and we referred another person. Neither my neighbor, nor we, have received a dime for our referrals. I e-mailed the admin person we worked with in July, no response. Phoned Batterbee in October. Spoke with Carolyn. Found out the person I e-mailed had left the company. No one was watching her e-mails! Carolyn told me she would leave a message with Marcie, the manager, and also asked me to e-mail her, which I did. No response to my e-mail nor did I receive a follow-up phone call. We then received an e-mail from Keith Batterbee inquiring about our roof install experience on November 6th. We responded to him right away, about the lack of a legitimate referral program. No response. So, Batterbee has received $50k in business between my neighbor and us and they have not given us a dime for the referrals. And, please just forget about getting a free cruise. That program is also a sham! The product is good, the install is awesome, but once your roof is on, Batterbee blows you off! read more

Batterbee installed the roof on our new home in 2020. In less than 4 years we discovered a stain on our ceiling. We had a leak in the roof. The sprayed insulation held the water until in no longer could. Called Batterbee, they said they no longer did residential in Palm Coast and they would not come out and check their installation. Hired another company to find the leak and fix it. They did and they concluded that shoddy installation caused the leak. Our builder no longer uses Batterbee because he had another customer that experienced a leak in a new build and Batterbee was the roofer. Not only is their workmanship poor their customer service is also, rude and combative. read more

I recently had a leak due to Tropical Storm Debbie. I then called Batterbee unfortunately they were not able to effect a repair because the "salesperson" was unable to locate where it had leaked on the outside despite being able to see where it had left a stain on the ceiling on the inside. I found it a little odd that they said they would send out a salesman and not a repair specialist when I initially called but brushed it off at the time. The salesperson made a good pitch for their solar exhaust fan which I fell for even though they were charging at least double for it. The 1st scheduled day for installation it rained so it was scheduled for the following week. No one ever showed and I was not contacted. called the following day to find out what happened. Their installer was out sick for the entire week but no one had taken the time to notify the customer, of course when I called they wanted to schedule it for a 3rd time and I replied no, I would like my 10% down payment refunded which they have refused to return. read more

Working with Batterbee Roofing was easy from the beginning contacting them. The salesman Charles was excellent explaining all aspects of replacing our roof & what we would need. Michele was wonderful keeping us posted weekly on the status of our materials. Once the materials came in Batterbee was very accommodating to our schedule. Emanuelle over saw the job perfectly. He got in touch with us the day before and kept us updated as the work went on until completed. Then did a final walk around and did not leave until he knew we were completely satisfied. The guys doing the work were wonderful, respectful of our property. Did a big job in a short amount of time when the temperatures were so high. They made sure everything was cleaned up and looked like no work had ever taken place except for a beautiful new roof. read more

Batterbee roofing covered up rotten wood. I could see what looked like a small amount of rot from ground on the edge of my roof. Site manager was standing on top of roof and I asked if it was rot, he said it was. When building inspector showed up for final inspection I mentioned what happened. He failed the inspection. Batterbee sent out their repair guy and when he removed shingles I was shocked at the size of the rot. Now I have no faith in the rest of their workmanship. I contacted Batterbee Roofing in late July to replace the roof on my house. They were at my house the next day to review my needs for the roof. The work was completed today and they did a very professional job. After the work was finished they picked up everything in my yard and anything that had blown into my neighbors yards. We didn't hire Batterbee, so I can't speak to their work, but the rude salesmen and crazy-high pressure sales pitch were more than enough to scratch them off the list of contenders. Even if it hadn't been, they estimate they gave (which they refused to provide in writing), was $14,000 more than the lowest estimate we received. When I wouldn't agree to that number, they offered me two other price points, each with supposedly the same product and workmanship, but with less of a warranty attached. The most expensive plan was $7,000 more than the least expensive, just with additional warranty coverage. The pressure to sign on the spot was tremendous, and when I told them I had other estimates to get before making a decision, both men were quite rude and dismissive of me - a quick 180 from the smooth talkers they'd been for the previous hour and a half. I wanted Hamiton from Batterbee Roofing to give me a quote on repairs to my roof but, all he did was push push push for an entire new roof job.. I had a home inspection 2 days before he arrived where they noted there was tar patching (photo included) and all the sudden there was a hole in the patching when Hamilton was on the roof..
