I stopped in Tuesday morning for a key fob battery....I have the lifetime replacement plan that I bought in a MN store that I thought allowed me to walk in to any store, give my phone number, hand over my key, mew battery and out the door! However, this must have been the first time I did it here.... Jake was very helpful and informative and said some stores are franchises so maybe my plan didn't transfer over? Yesterday I called Batteries plus as I was having problems with charging my cell phone and keeping a charge. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful as I explained the issues in detail, he told me to bring it in so they could take a look and he was confident they could help me. When I got to the store, Tracy the store manager and technician was able to check the battery which was fine, but the charging port needed to be replaced. She gave me a quote and did have the part in the store. She said she would have the phone repaired in 4 hours or less. My phone was ready for pick up in less than 3 hours!! I am so happy with Tracy and the other two employees. The staff is very knowledgeable, kind, and they welcome you in as you enter the door!! I highly recommend Batteries + Bulbs. Do not get your phone camera fixed here. They didn't even clean the inside of my camera before they put the new lense on. The camera displays dots all over the screen after they fixed it. The lens broke again within a few weeks. read more

I returned my ipad to get help with a screen they installed on 8/5/18. The glue is not holding and they told me that the warranty was only good for 6 months. (Note I missed it by 20 days). They stated they could try a reglue but that would be $40 and if it broke it would be $140 for a new one. Came into the store and stood in line, there were 4 employees in the store and only 2 of them were busy helping customers. I stood there for 10 minutes without any acknowledgement from the employees that I was even there or if they could help me. One of the customers finally left and I told Eric Olson, a manager, that I had 3 watches that needed new batteries. He told me that he wasn't having good luck with watches today, like he didn't even want to do it. He got all three open to change batteries and may have broke one of them because he said it didn't work with a new battery. There was a lot of confusion about which watches had a lifetime battery changing warranty and which ones did not, I certainly didn't know because I have so many watches and the ones I had a lifetime battery changing warrant on had description that was too vague. I was made to feel like I was trying to get something for free, I was not! I did not argue with anything they said, but apparently having to wait on me as a customer was so stressful for them that they wanted to get me out of the store asap by giving me the batteries for free. I asked the manager why and was it because I had a bad experience in the store? He quickly said no, I told him that I wanted to pay for the batteries because he made me feel like I was the one who was a problem. He would not give me a reason why and all he said was it's the manager's prerogative. I was treated very rudely and one of the other sales associates started smirking at me at this point and I left. I think I deserve an apology for how I was treated and how bad they made me feel when I was not trying to get anything for free, was ignored and treated like a problem. The fact that Eric Olson would not let me pay for the batteries and wouldn't tell me why makes me feel pretty low, at this point in my life my time and being treated kindly is much more important that the paltry sum of two watch batteries. read more

My wife bought a $27.00 LED bulb last Thursday. When she got home and removed it from the box she discovered it was not the bulb on the box,even worse it did not work. On Friday she went back to the store to return it and was told they could not take it back because it did not match the box, and implied she was trying to scam them. BEWARE! There are other merchants who do treat their customers with respect, reward them with your business. read more

I went to this Batteries Plus Bulbs to get my shattered Apple Watch screen repaired. I called in advance to get the correct screen ordered and they told me that they would order it immediately and would call me when it came in about a week later. A week and a half later, I still hadn't gotten a call from them, so I phoned them up to check on my order. I was told that the part wasn't ordered until 5 days after they told me they would order it. RIDICULOUS! Even when the part did come in later then I was promised it would, they failed to call me. I had to call them again and ask if the part was there. Once the part finally arrived, I went to to store only to find out that the employee I had previously spoken to on the phone quoted me a price $50 less than the actual price. On top of this, the screen that was ordered was NOT the one that I asked for... it was the wrong model and could not be used on my Apple Watch. The people there did not seem to know how to do their jobs at all and had terrible customer service skills. On top of this, they broke my watch even more so now it won't even turn on. Prices are decent and I found what I was looking for almost right away. But the service there is just awful, slow and rude.
