Later, when I pick up my laptop, it turns out that during the repair process the NEW screen had somehow gotten cracked (a minor crack, but noticeable) due to an employee error. This was freely admitted. Fortunately, they were willing to replace the brand new screen free of charge, I just had to wait another week. Well, it has now been 2 months, and I have not heard back from this place. Overall, I am pretty disappointed, although my initial problem was indeed fixed.

Sadly, they didn't work after the repair, and just a few days later they called back and said that the new pair came in and I could go pick it up. The new, used pair they gave me looked great, it was in almost perfect condition. That was at least two years ago and the headphone still work perfectly. Overall, iMechanic is an amazing place, and they repair almost all electronics if I remember correctly. Not just iPhones.

He has great equipment and left no mess after digging up around her well to remove the old pressure tank and reconnect plumbing and electrical lines. We felt their pricing was reasonable considering all the work they did and the equipment required to remedy the situation.

I asked him for general pricing information - he was offended. After repeating the request, got him to give me pricing at $200/hour for their time, and $4-5 for pipe, and $1100 for the lower-end pump (for 220' deep well). OK. Then he gave me a bottom quote total price of $3K, and no hiccups on the job, and a total time of 2.5 hrs at our home, and only a 10 mile drive to our house - I was figuring the price would be approximately $3,000 (near the bottom of the quote). Instead, it comes in at $4,000, and he charges me $1465 for the pump instead of $1100 ($365 above the on-site original quote), and the pipe at $4-5 should mean "close to $4.50" - he charges me $5.13 -- above the max limit. Then adds on $83 of Misc Materials - but won't tell me a SINGLE item included in that bundle of mystery. Very offended by his misquoting of prices, I send him an email specifying some of the quote inconsistencies, and ask him to accept 5.5% discount on the price, where the inconsistencies SHOULD have been more like 25% discount. I was compromising MOST of the way. He calls me - yelling at me that I'm ridiculous and should have NEVER asked for pricing!... and that NO ONE ELSE EVER ASKS FOR PRICING AHEAD, except for me! And that I must pay 100% of the invoice, no exception. Now I'm regretting that I've got to deal with this dishonest malicious man for warranty! I want him to pull it out, as I've arranged for a nice company to come in and do the job for less - with more experience and ethics. He gladly priced it ahead at under $3500. 3 days after the pump was installed - Schrader's owner Owen, refers me to his ATTORNEY -- Day 3. 5 days before my 7-day invoice is even due. Before anything is due, or late -- he stops all communications with me, addresses NONE of my concerns -- NOT ONE -- stops customer service (no responses, stonewalled) -- and WILL NOT even tell me the name of this attorney he referred me to. My hands are tied. No one to talk to or deal with. 3 weeks later, I get a Property Lien notice, now demanding $1200+ in attorney fees on top! In short: 1. He misquotes pricing, then gouges me above the quotes on the invoice. 2. I ask for partial discount of 5.5% 3. Yes yells at me with major insults! 4. I ask him to remove his equipment or reduce his price even more (giving up my warranty)... 5. Next day - 2 days after Invoice, 5 days before it's due - he refers me to his Attorney. 6. This starts the process of accruing Attorney Fees! 7. He won't tell me the Attorney's Name 8. Won't address a SINGLE concern. 9. Won't budge even one cent on his price. === Now I've been told they are suing me, to foreclose on our house! Over a 5.5% dispute that he wouldn't even discuss details for. Worst consumer experience ever. Year ruined. Choosing Shrader was my worst choice of the decade. Our neighbor had him do his well too - and he won't even let Owen back on the property -- he can't stand the man.

I have been begging her to ditch her Blackberry and go to Android (or iPhone) for awhile now, but she's always been worried about touch screen keyboards, she doesn't do well with them. We decided that the HTC EVO Shift 4G would work perfect since she's already on Sprint. We had already tried the Sprint store at the other end of town and only after getting all of her information and talking about plans, etc. (wasting 20 minutes of our time), we were informed that the store didn't have any of the phones in stock... great. We were then told that they could not call this other Sprint store to see if they had it in stock because they were not affiliated with them (this must not be an "official" Sprint store). I couldn't get a hold of this place at the telephone listed on Google Maps, but since it was near where we at lunch we just decided to swing by and see if they had the EVO Shift in stock... which they did. The two people working at the store were extremely friendly and explained everything we needed to know, while at the same time talking to us like we were actually human beings instead of just dollar signs. The guy behind the counter let us play with his new EVO 3D as he was going through and setting everything up with the new phone. They even went so far as to install the screen protector and put the case on for us. Most places just throw the accessories in the bag and shove you out the door, but not here. The only problem came when we went to transfer the phone numbers and pictures over from the old Blackberry to the EVO, but it wasn't their fault. Apparently if you have over 400 pictures, 50+ videos and 300+ contacts, the transfer machine doesn't like to do it all. It would transfer all of that data from the Blackberry to the machine fine, but once it tried to move it over to the EVO it stalled out. Not a big deal though, all of the pictures/video were stored on the memory card so we just moved the contacts over and I used a card reader later to move the pictures/videos. The only reason this place didn't get 5 stars from me is because while opening the phone and taking it out of the box the one woman dropped the phone on the ground. The guy behind the counter was also rough with the phone 1 time, but there was no problem with the phone and everything has been fine. I just wish they would have been a little more careful considering it was the last one in stock and she was itching to get the phone. So if you have to go to Sprint and you live in Terre Haute I would recommend going to this location as opposed to the other location, or at least call to make sure the other location has the phone you're looking for. I obviously can't give the other location a bad review because we didn't really have any experience with them, but our experience at this location would definitely bring us back.
