They evaluated the battery on my Subaru and were immediately able to replace it and get us back on the road knowing we were safe and wouldn't experience another dead battery in the middle of a drive thru! I needed a battery since the last battery lasted me almost 6 years, so I decided to see what they had to offer as well as Price. If a customer brings the (core) old battery to Battery Mart then all you pay is the price of the New Battery, if a customer has Battery Mart take out your old battery there is a charge for that service, price depends on how much work is needed in regards to the battery out and installing the new battery, I paid $12.50 for their service work ontop of the price for the battety. I came to this location last week when my car struggled to start. Did it for me and found the alternator was failing all tests. I replace the alternator and came back today to have the battery tested. It is over five years and didn't need replacement things to the warranty I got a nice discount for the time left. This is the first car related repair I have had to do since becoming a widow a few months ago and the comfort I felt there was very much appreciate it. Terrible business! Sells you a new battery with a warranty then won't honor it when you try to within the warranty time limit. I bought a new battery and they seem to have "accidentally" installed a used one. When it died within the warranty time (told over phone it was under warranty still via invoice number), I tried to warranty claim the battery in person. Only to find out they put in the wrong one, a used one that was marked for March and I paid in Feb 25th. Since the battery (5 days older than invoice for new one on invoice) didn't match, got told many customer blaming excuses. Then told to leave when asking even the owner to honor their warranty. Avoid unless you want to pay new prices for them to sneak used batteries into your car then deny warranty claim when it dies in less than 18 months. read more

This was my go to battery shop for over a decade. Best prices, weird and obscure applications, they do it all. Their customer service was never very good. They have a tendency to be rude and sarcastic. You often have to wait. Overall though I always recommended them with that caution that they are not friendly. So why the one star rating? I'll tell you my story and you can make your own conclusion. I stopped by at 3:45pm after work to check on my warranty before I did anything- my car was dead in the 24 hour parking lot and I would have to get a jump and bring it in. They said that was fine. I explained it was going to be a bit because I had to get a jump and drive it over. They said that was fine- I ASKED what time they closed since it was gonna take a little bit. They said 5pm. So next I rush over, get a jump, rush back, and pull in at 4:35pm- great right? I should be all set. "Sorry we only install until 4:30pm." I said that I had talked to them and they said it was ok. They said go talk to them in the front. In the front they said nope we only install until 4:30pm. I told them what I had been told and asked if they could help me out (I mean now I'm stuck with a dead battery at Battery Mart) - their response was that they try to tell everyone that they only install until 4:30pm. That would have been great information to have huh. What did they think I had stopped by and asked about it for? They suck at customer service but this is the final straw. I will not be going back even though I will end up spending $100's of more on each battery I purchase. I did everything I could to make it work and they screwed me over and were not even sorry that they had done that. Didn't even offer to give me a jump so I could get home. So go there if you want a good deal as long as you don't care how you are treated. And better get their by 4:00pm no matter what they tell you. Battery Mart- I'll be recommending anywhere else but you to everyone else who asks from now on. And I suggest you change your listed hours to 4:30pm as a courtesy to your customers if you don't actually work after 4:30pm. read more

I have bought several batteries for my truck for my car and for my motorcycle I went to start my motorcycle today and the battery was dead I've taken my motorcycle out three times since I've gotten the battery and I have a battery tender on it when I called them and gave them a little tag number on the battery I was told there's nothing they can do for me because it was over six months I spent a pretty penny on that battery for them to tell me they won't warrantee it for more than six months thanks for nothing read more

I was referred to this place by the gas man who came to my house and seen I was having trouble with my battery. Mike is the Service representative whom assisted me. He is a stand up guy and was very helpful with a few items I needed. Their battery prices as well as warranties are priced way better than competitors. They have a great store front with windshield wipers that are also priced less than the competitors. The owner was a great guy offered my little one a drink and pizza.
