They really do have every type of battery that you need. I've been here for cellphone batteries and they had what I needed in stock. I was sure that I was going to have to order it or look for the battery online, but when I called they had it. They were even less expensive than Amazon. I needed those small batteries that go in book lights and kid toys. I seen them for $5 a piece at target and Kmart. I needed a lot of them for a few different things so I decided to see if battery mart had them. They not only had them but they are about $1 to $2 each. My youngest son killed the battery on his quad and we had a camping trip planned. I needed the battery quickly and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. It was way less than I expected and came with a warranty. I didn't think about the core charge so they got me for an extra $2. read more

Great service. Took my car in with an intermittent battery issue. They tested it and confirmed bad battery, plus the positive terminal had an issue that needed some tightening. Junk batteries, bought 2 6 volt batteries for my toy hauler, they weren't even fully charged when I got them home, would not keep a charge, exchanged them for another set and had the same problem, went to Napa bought a pair of Napa batteries and had zero issues, stay away from battery mart it's a rip off. read more

I've been a regular customer for a few years now. Having purchased let's see, 10 or more batteries over the years. Six were just for my motorhome "house" batteries. They sell many different brands including Trojan batteries I used on my motorhome. I just purchased one the other day for a new to me SUV. The tech who helped me was Mike and he helped me to determine wether or not to get a battery at the time. The good thing about this place is they actually check fluid levels with a hydrometer prior to hooking up a battery tester. Mike told me that the battery was low and it could possibly hold charge if I decided to take it home and charge it with my stand alone charger. He even went the extra mile and tested the alternator with a voltmeter and when it came back low, he said let's test it with a good battery just to be sure. So he hooked up a good battery and determined that alternator was good and possibly the battery was bad. I ended up getting a new battery based on what I knew and the fact I would be making long distances trips in scorching heat in the future. Mike was upfront, gave me options, didn't try to sell more than was needed and was honest. No nonsense up front service and great prices. Sure you may save a few bucks at the chain auto stores, but you don't always get the great service and knowledge these guys have. Support AV local business! read more

Went to Battery Mart because I thought my battery was bad. They tested it and found it to be discharged but still good and gave me a loaner battery so they could further check mine and charge it fully. They suggested that I have the alternator checked. That turned out to be the problem.... After the alternator was replaced I went back to Battery Mart and they installed my fully charged battery so I'm back on the streets of Apple Valley. So one day my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 started acting weird, come to find out it was the battery. I did what most people would do, I call Verizon and Best Buy. I just went to Battery Mart to see if I needed a battery for my Samsung note3. My battery was draining quickly and the phone was warm to the touch. James and Fernando both helped me. They tested my phone battery and found that it was working fine. They mentioned that I may have several things running on my phone and I've used a large amount of memory, that's what could be making the phone battery drain so fast and the reason it feels hot. These guys both took the time to help me and didn't try to sell me something I did not need. They were honest and helpful, I would recommend this honest business to anyone. I live in Chino Hills, so what am I doing business with these guys who are 75 miles away ? Let me tell you, this place is where customers come first and foremost. Let me tell you a simple story. Purchased a battery a few years ago that was half the price of all the others as it needed a new replacement, after consulting with them on the details I went to Apple Valley and picked it up in a couple of minutes and drove back to Chino Hills. Unfortunately it was the wrong one. I called the store and shared my problem with the issue of making another round trip for an error made. In ten minutes they dispatched someone to drive out a new replacement without charge and without guilt. Who does this in today's world of business ? Not many. Their nice people enjoying what they do, bringing a smile to your face and giving you service others side step. All I can say is thank you for going the extra mile, literally ! read more
