My mom's dryer broke two weeks ago and she was really stressing buying a new one after some costly home repairs this last month . I knew I had to do my part and try and fix it ,before we bought a new one . After some research and some very helpful you tube videos . I started searching for parts stores and stumbled upon ADCO. I gave them a call and spoke with I believe Tim was his name . He was very helpful and knowledgeable . And even offered to test some of the fuses for me , which I thought was awesome.thanks Tim! I drove all the way from Adelanto and got to ADCO at 9:00 AM on 6/10/2025 - a Tuesday. They were closed. I waited until 9:30 AM, but no one showed. When I called several times, their phone just rang. I was in need of getting my dryer repaired and scheduled an appointment earlier in week. I was told the technician would arrive between 2-4pm and would call when on way. At 1pm, I received call from technician he was finished w/ his previous jobs and was ready to arrive to my home. I kindly advised him I was unavailable at this current time, but would be available at the earliest at 1:50pm. His tone was condescending and rude, stating that he was not able to wait around that long and advised I could call when I am ready to reschedule and hung up on me. Very helpful and honest. My husband works out of town a lot, so I was on my own trying to figure out what I needed to fix the dryer. I went into ADCO expecting to spend a couple hundred dollars, but when the man working asked me to explain what's going on with our gas dryer, he diagnosed it. We bought a new LG washer/dryer from Costco in April 2018. We requested the hinge on dryer be placed on the left side. It was not. The delivery guys said they just deliver and I'd have to call the delivery company. Which I did that day! Long story short they never came out! I called several companies but none of them worked on LG products. I found Adco on YELP and the are GREAT! Justin had the door switched in no time! We had a problem with our dishwasher. It was leaking. We called ADCO and Justin came out the NEXT day. He did one fix and had to come back one more time. It was a difficult fix to find and he had to order a part. But he figured it out and fixed it. I asked if he worked on other appliances and he said yes. We will ALWAYS call ADCO from now on. Justin is smart, on time, polite and knows his trade. ADCO appears to be a very well run company with employees that know what they are doing. Leo in the office does a great job. We did call Sears first (before ADCO) but gave up and this is why: 1) we waited weeks for a repairman to come out 2) he didn't fix it and told us to "run white vinegar in it and call again if it still leaked" 3) it still leaked (hah!), we called again and he came out and made the wrong diagnosis and ordered the wrong part 4) we decided to forget about Sears even though we have a service contract with them 5) which we will cancel. In the past we have had Sears techs that did fix the problem but you don't see them until the 4th or 5th call. We are done with Sears repair service and will use ADCO instead. read more

My LG has dryer was making a intermittent vibration. Adco technician arrived on time. He trouble shot the noise. He cleaned and lubed my dryer. He couldn't find a root cause and the noise went away. I found ADCO on yelp and called because of the great reviews. My 4 year old oven wasn't working. Justin came and when he turned it on it worked. He left and I put everything back including the drawer under the oven. Turned it on and it didn't work. I called Justin back and he was still in the area. He came right over. It was a mystery. But when he pulled the bottom drawer out it started working. He solved the mystery. One of the pans I had in the drawer was hitting the element that prevented it from working. He was great. He was mad about the payment taking a few minutes since my payment was flag as fraud I had to notice the bank. The process to pay took less than 10 min. The tech looked so mad! Our oven stopped working. It's only 2 years old, and when we contacted the big retailer where we had bought it all they wanted to do was to sell us a monthly subscription to their appliance insurance coverage. So we contacted three Yelp companies for estimates. The first responder was unavailable, but recommended ADCO. We are so glad we called them. The repairman Justin was at our door the next day. He found the problem & fixed it on the spot for a fraction of the cost the retailer wanted to charge for the appliance insurance (minimum 1 year subscription). This is our 3rd Yelp success. Speechless! They saved me so much money by helping me trouble shoot my AC unit! I initially thought it was a capacitor which they could of easily sold me with out testing mine. After testing it and letting me know that it was not the capacitor they gave me some more trouble shooting options step by step. It ended being a pole connector which they had in stock. I had a nightmarish situation with my 15 year old Kenmore washing machine recently. Great customer service Rep. I went in to replace a cracked ice maker water line for my LG frig. The Rep was about 5'5'', little bit of a red beard and just one smart man. I took in a cut-out piece of what I wanted and thought it was 1/4'' plastic tubing with the couplings. He corrected me and said its 5/16'' tubing. He also showed me how to remove a coupling once the tubing is inserted by pulling down on a small plastic collar within the coupling. Saved me work. This business hires good folks who are knowledgeable, helpful, and understand the mechanics of whatever appliance one needs parts for. You can go to the chain hardware and supply stores.
