Wow, just wow. What amazing customer service. Not only was Mandy super knowledgeable when it came to all of my MTG questions, she was also an absolute joy. She had a lot of customers, but she took the time to greet everyone and and had the cutest interaction with a young kid super excited to buy some cards. You can tell Mandy loves what she does and her positivity is infectious. The store has an amazing selection and I will definitely be back. It's no Pandemonium / Modern Myths but not for lack of trying. A bit much mini-booster pack game oriented for my taste but the kids seem to like it! If you're looking for heavier boardgames this isn't your stop but if 5e, MTG and Heroclixesque pursuits are your thing there's a gaggle of folks here playing pretty much every day of the week. They have a fair selection of 'the new hotness' boardgames as well. read more

Great place! As a regular customer for a while, I figured it would help if I actually a review, and it comes after what a lot of people would see as a negative experience. Due to a miscommunication or some other error, a set of items I had requested be set aside for me were inadvertently sold. The staff at Battlegrounds went out of their way to make things right, and today I was able to pick up the limited print run product that I was interested in earlier this week. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The store is laid out well and is located in a decent location and has food options nearby, so if you plan on being there for any given amount of time, you're covered. While I used to predominantly attend for Friday Night Magic and other Magic events, the store also features organized play for X-Wing, Weiss Schwartz, Pokemon, and more. The store actually cares about their customers, and the community - not only of players that exists at Battlegrounds, but also in general, having worked with Scouts Organizations and more. read more

Great game store. Good family atmosphere; safe place to bring kids. Clean, bright. Bathroom is clean. WiFi available. Battlegrounds hosts games of all types. Magic tournaments, board games, Warhammer, Warmachine, D&D, Pathfinder - and there are times for new players to get introduced to the games and genres. read more

Great game store. My girlfriend and I head up to Battleground when we are looking to purchase games that we can't find down here in RI. The staff is really friendly and knowledgable. We always walk out with a handful of great games, and some of their prices are better than what's on Amazon. Definitely a great store if you're into table-top gaming. read more

Exceptional LGS. Extremely wide variety of board, card and minifig games and supplies available, plus of the cleanest and professional looking set ups I've seen in a long time (shelves perfectly stocked, store itself obviously swept / cleaned regularly). Combine that with a large area for either events or casual play and friendly staff, if you're nearby this is an LGS beyond worth checking out. read more

Battleground has been open for maybe a year? and it's a fantastic location for Magic, Pokemon and D&D. The board game selection is pretty light, however, though they've got the more popular Eurogames and so on. It's definitely worth a gaming stop, and the staff is helpful and friendly. read more
