There is literally a narrow line to weave thru in the event there are say more than 7 people, aside from the staff browsing throughout the shop. A lot of the good picks can be hard to buy depending on the season (i.e. there was a dope fishing boonie that was neat and the perfect size for me however it was floor model only and likely previously fitted by many individuals). This is my first time to a physical MIL surplus store as I typically shop online for them and had no knowledge before my visit that this particular one was in operation for well over 50 yrs, kudos. One thing though is that if you plan on returning or exchanging anything you should discuss all the details PRIOR to purchase. For myself, def learned this the hard way as there was some gear I bought, accessories and tees (pd in cash) but changed my mind on some of them after a couple of days. Then I checked online and their store policy is 5 days with original receipt. So I returned with my goods, namely a T-shirt and was told it is NON-REFUNDABLE due to it being "underwear" and the fact it "touches your body". I was thinking "ok..." and my face def showed it, as this was the first time in my life that I heard of a business that bent their return policy. Maybe it was because of the fact that I paid cash for my gear, not sure and the owner did not want to refund me, but I got past it. But as a heads up, if you do think you may have any sort of wrinkle with a return it prob is better to put it on your charge card so you can work it out with the issuer/card company for any disputes. At checkout, they offered three shipping options: Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and UPS -- with UPS being the most expensive option. I chose UPS, assuming the higher cost meant faster or at least prioritized handling. It is now February 26, 2026, and the item still has not shipped. When I reached out to customer support, I received this response: "Unfortunately the UPS option is not a fast shipping option." That explanation is baffling. If UPS isn't faster, why is it presented as the premium-priced option? Charging more for a shipping method that doesn't actually expedite processing feels misleading at best. After looking into the company's reputation, I noticed their Trustpilot rating sits around 2.3 stars, with numerous reviews specifically mentioning slow shipping and poor communication. What's even more concerning is the pattern of nearly identical owner replies apologizing and promising to "improve processes," while the same issues continue months later. At some point, repeated apologies stop meaning anything. Paying extra for shipping, waiting a full week without dispatch, and receiving vague explanations is frustrating and disappointing. Transparency matters. If processing times are long regardless of the shipping method selected, that should be clearly disclosed before customers pay more. I'm genuinely curious to see what generic, templated response will appear under this review. Hopefully it includes more than the usual "we're working on improving." Buyers should read the reviews carefully before ordering. Also just look at the photo they have on Google Maps...look at the front of the store...do you want to order from here?

The Army Navy Store is a pretty unique shopping experience. Here you may find all types of army…read moregear, uniform, boots, pins, hats, protective hats and more. They also have some baby dresses and outfits, and things that are more costume. This store has been here for 30 years. It unfortunately has a bit of that "been here a long time" type of odor. I went here in hopes of finding an authentic, weather proof American flag, to put on my currently bare flag pole in front of my home. The young man I spoke to seemed to be very informed on the subject. I told him the approximate height of the pole, and he immediately pulled out a flag, that seemed to fit the bill. He explained the quality of the material is designed to withstand the harshest of winds. Also the way the stitching is done, is made to last through whatever blows and comes its way. Naturally this flag is made in America. It was $55.99 and was not taxable. My friend got the Connecticut flag, also from the same maker. I was very pleased with my shopping experience at The Army Navy Store. I will be putting up my brand new flag as soon as the winter's snow is over.

Specifically, we had a periscope from a tank (he was a tank instructor) and an Army helmet.  I wanted to sell them as part of our household de-cluttering initiative and reached out to a guy in the Yankee Flyer who is constantly advertising his interest to buy these things. But after I called him and e-mailed him photos, all I heard was crickets so he obviously wasn't that interested after all. Then I contacted Army Barracks, exchanged a few e-mails and photos, agreed on a price, a check was delivered from their Massachusetts headquarters to their Newington store, and we made the exchange today. Super easy! The store is quite a site to behold, with camo clothing everywhere, boots, shorts, jackets, helmets, backpacks, guns, knives, samurai swords, hatchets and axes, and all sorts of military paraphernalia as far as you can see.

Then Most people were going against the rules like using full auto,blind firing and not calling shots. That would be fine if the refs did anything but the guy we got didn't really do anything and talked about how he was strict and proceeded to do nothing about the spawn camping and full auto. I wish I could rate this player since some of the players were fun and cool but with the combination of if you get hit once your not getting out of spawn and a ref just not doing his job, I unfortunately can't. Only way I can see coming back is if they add more refs or make the refs strict enough to enforce rules, and if they change a rule or too to get teams a chance of not getting spawn camped
