Me and a couple buds went during a 6-12 pm session during a Saturday. First couple of rounds were fun everyone was playing fair until around 8ish when most normal people left. Then Most people were going against the rules like using full auto,blind firing and not calling shots. That would be fine if the refs did anything but the guy we got didn't really do anything and talked about how he was strict and proceeded to do nothing about the spawn camping and full auto. I wish I could rate this player since some of the players were fun and cool but with the combination of if you get hit once your not getting out of spawn and a ref just not doing his job, I unfortunately can't. Only way I can see coming back is if they add more refs or make the refs strict enough to enforce rules, and if they change a rule or too to get teams a chance of not getting spawn camped read more

Recently was able to visit due to a birthday party. Here is my take. The good: super helpful and friendly staff. Very attentive and patient. They have a gel ball game for the younger participants (more kid friendly then the norm). Plenty of parking. The ok: place isn't much to look at. Can't watch an active game outside of a tv with bad angles. Pizza was ok. Party room a bit small. Also not cheap. In the future I'd probably go as a small group with an older crowd. Been here twice already on Saturdays for the 12-4PM session. Price: On the verge of being expensive. We've been to other fields in the tri-state area and this one is a bit pricey. $40 for a 4 hour session is a little much. Other fields I've paid $20 for a full day. This is further compounded by the number of players on the field resulting in half of the groups sitting. More on that later. Staff: Great Staff is great and they REALLY focus on safety. Zero tolerance eye protection which is a must and they REALLY enforce it. Don't take your mask off or adjust on field no matter what or get kicked out for a game. This is critical because of how many little kids are playing. It takes one eyeball lost before news crews show up and now the community is in the spotlight. They are doing what they can so everyone can play and that might mean things are rushed. Also as a result, it's usually TDM (Team Deathmatch aka team vs team). With the number of kids here during this time I get it. Field: CQB. As with most indoor fields, it's a CQB field. (Close Quarter Battle). Which means rooms and hallways and winding paths. No minimum engagement distance (aka no bang bang rules aka you can be shot point blank range). No full auto. No binary. No trigger feathering (use two fingers to shoot faster). No gas grenades. FPS: 380 for AEG and 350 for HPA I believe. Sidearms need to be chronoed (tested for speed). Number of Players: 40+ from 12-4PM sessions on Saturday One criticism is that the staff are trying to do the best they can with balance and number of players. Both times I've visited, the groups were so large they had to chop each session into short rounds with half of the players sitting in alternating rounds. The rounds get shorter for each group and they end up sitting for about 10 minutes between rounds. For $40 that's a bit annoying but again I get it. I think it's almost unnecessary because most of the players during this time are little kids and they are a bit afraid of pushing out. So the field was mostly empty. Possibly a safety thing. Not sure. But I think they could keep the groups together and keep more players on the field. Especially if there are a lot of first timers. Being a parent, it's tough to try and do 10pm+ session for adults. Would like to see adult sessions once a month during the 12-4 period. Hoping it would be better and more intense. New Players: I went with a few buddies and as more experienced players with our own equipment, we were swarmed by little kids asking questions. We're all down for helping others so we didn't mind but they seemed a little lost and unsure as to how to use the equipment. Not sure if they were given a briefing on their weapons prior. Also being rentals, there are a lot of on field issues we helped resolve. Maybe putting a staff member on the field to play with them as a "squad leader" might be cool. Also if annual memberships were a bit cheaper, I'd definitely get one. Tiered memberships maybe? $500 would be good with no more than two sessions a month. $750 unlimited. read more

My son had his birthday here. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place! They do a great job!!!

Pros: Very popular place. Lots of activity. There was one employee who really knew what he was doing and was very helpful. He was also serious about safety. Good. They also test equipment before everyone heads into the game. Fun: My kids had a great time and want to return. Very cool thing to do with older kids. The place has great potential. Lounge: There's a lounge. Ask employees for directions to the lounge. It's very large and comfortable, with TVs on the walls. Not very crowded too. Employee: Very helpful guy in charge. Thank you. Cons: Extremely chaotic. Not enough signage for newbies. Newcomers were asking each other what to do. We asked employees what to do, but their lingo was based on experienced players. I had to say, "I have no idea what that means. What does that even mean?" It would be great if there was someone greeting newbies. Otherwise, the newbs get angry and don't return. I don't think the employees mean to do it - I think they've got a lot of returning players - which is good for the business. The problem with that is that once the experienced folks get tired of going, their attendee number will decline because the newbies were frustrated on their first experience. Session Timing was off. Way Off. We got there at 12:15. The first and only session we were able to do finally got us in at 1:30. We had to leave at 2:00. So we paid (with Groupon, thankfully) $90 for two people = 15 minutes of game time for $90 is not worth it for me, sorry. Don't schedule anything else for the day - you'll be there all day. Not a problem if you don't mind waiting. Lack of Direction / Signage: It would be great if there was a serious of signs for newbies. "Welcome! Go here first and do this..." then "Now that you've done this, do this..." then "Now that this is done, GO HERE because we need to do this for you before you go into the game..." I literally had to cut the line after waiting an hour and - by then was pissed - ask what was taking so long. To his credit, the guy behind the desk was great (the other three people behind the desk weren't doing anything, unfortunately. One looked new.) What we didn't know: We didn't know where to put our things, how to put on anything, if we had to wait in the lobby or move immediately to the line, how long the line would be waiting, if we were in the right line, what they were doing in the front of the line, why some people were moving ahead of us and others weren't. Age Bracketing Needed: The 12-4:00 Session had every age bracket in those sessions. So 20-year-olds were playing with kids. Scary. Lounge? What Louge? Where's the lounge? I left with a $650 rifle $150 pistol all the and everything necessary to make the same work.I bought a rifle light just to make it look cool and Since there was no real box except a brown box with a sticker. I didn't know what brand I search the Internet for about a half hour. The only One I can find cost $65 . I paid $115. When I got home there were no instructions in the box the box Was damaged. Since there be VX be were no instructions in the box ,so it was difficult to know what type of battery and where in where the battery would go.I happen to own several real guns and I'm familiar with several brands of aftermarket products. When I called and said the only one I can find on the Internet was $65 and they charge me $115 their answer was all sales are final. meanwhile I spent $1400 of the night before. I was V told I'm I would be taken care of in the store and the kids did a good job with all their information. I asked to speak to the owner that I met the other night and he tried to explain to me that since the light came from China it doesn't come with instructions all things from China don't come Included with instructions!!!!! . All products need to both Come with instructions and warrantee information that's the law All things imported from China into this country.. If I could give 0 stars I would. DONT LET THEM MODIFY YOUR GUN!!! My brother wanted to add a silencer on his OWN gun which the facility guaranteed they could do, the facility broke it and never paid for the gun and REFUSED to give him back HIS OWN GUN. They insisted they would fix it and never did. The gun was worth over $500. After taking the facility to small claims court and the judge ruling in my brother's favor they refused to pay the settlement. Staff and owners are low lives. Facility isn't great either, go to Jersey! read more

Very nice facility but the staff is terrible. The "manager" has the worst attitude and it shows durning every rules meeting. Most of the staff the ref the games isn't any better. They talk to everyone with a power trip. I can go into details but it seems like plenty of people has already written about their experiences. Threatened and Assaulted at this place. PARENTS, please be careful leaving your children here. Story below: NOTE: This occurred in 2012, but it's still haunting me, so I'll be posting it now. I was an once avid Airsofter and regular patron of Strikeforce Sports. By the time I was 17, I was driving myself and my teenage friends to play fairly regularly, which was right when the assault and subsequent threats occurred. If you are aware of the Strikeforce Sports membership program, it allowed customers to prepay for a month of unlimited sessions. Parents used this as an opportunity to drop off their children unsupervised for hours at a time, and leave it to the staff (who are completely untrained) to care for them. This lead to problems like the one I experienced, described below. Sequence of events: A member child got into a verbal argument with a younger friend of mine over the game rules, and because this child was unsupervised, he assaulted my friend with his airsoft gun by turning up the power and firing full automatic at him point blank until he went down. He then ran off, leaving my friend on the ground bloody and full of pellets. After helping my injured friend, I confronted the child who shot him. I angrily demanded to speak to his parents immediately. I did not get his parents. Instead, two very large members of Strikeforce staff approached, and squared up with us. I tried to ask for bandages and explain the situation to them. They told us they did not care, and that if we had any issues with the child they could meet us in the parking lot to fight them. One staff member made it known that he has a concealed carry pistol as well. We chose to leave. From there, the same staff who threatened to fight us, followed us out of the building, jeered at us, and told us not to come back. I will never forget the feeling of two large 200lb+ fully grown men threatening to attack me and my injured friend, it was the only time something like that happened in my childhood. Playing airsoft or paintball can lead to disagreements, arguments, or even scuffles, but Strikeforce Sports chooses to handle these situations in a reckless fashion. At the time, we were children arguing with other children, 15 year olds and 12 year olds. Why those adults chose to join the fight themselves instead of deescalating is an absurd question to even have to ask. To this day I think about having the opportunity to meet those staff again, as a fully grown adult, and ask them what was going through their heads. I'm now even older than they were and I simply cannot imagine thinking it appropriate to threaten a teenager with violence. Needless to say, we stopped playing airsoft altogether after that. read more

They kicked a guy out for "cheating" even though he had GoPro footage proving otherwise (they refused to even look at it). I was a little scared to come due to the negative reviews but maybe I got lucky with some of the staff? Overall, the expertise was good and I had a wonderful time. Frank is one of the most amazing staff members who exist in this place ! He was extremely knowledgeable and patient and he helped me fix my gun without sassing me or being condescending like many people claim the staff here are. It's good to meet people who actually care about others and don't treat them like annoying pests. I greatly appreciate frank and how wonderful his personality was. I'm lying down and I can't help but still see these pebble-sized bruises on my chest, stomach, and most importantly, my rear end, that are reminders that I got my ass kicked by kids half my age. Yes, you read that right--like the classic school yard fight during recess, I was the one who got my ass kicked (shot, in this case) by a bunch of kids. Some background info about me: though I love my share of COD, Halo, and a bunch of other shooting games, I had never actually been to any kind of shooting facility before this. When my friend suggested we spend our Saturday here, I was excited, yet quite nervous about the pain I'd endure. All four of us bought the Groupon deal for $27 each, which was a great deal that included the mask and gun (which would otherwise be additional upfront) rentals for four hours. I was so surprised to see that the majority of the players were superrrrr young (oldest was probably no less than 5 years younger than me) and were armed in very expensive gear and guns as if they're really in the field. It was also surprising to see moms there--I guess airsoft moms are the modern-day soccer moms. Anyway, I was told to dressed heavily and I tried, but honestly, the only way for you to not feel any type of pain is to wear a thick ass coat. Unless you're one of those shy snoopers on the field, you sure will be running around and no one wants to sweat around in a heavy jacket. Gloves are important, too, because you never know when your hands get hit and getting hit by those pellets will feel like a bad burn. I went today to play Airsoft for the first time, had a blast with the players as well as the staff. I went solo after testing the waters with an Airsoft Zombie experience in Las Vegas. The course was exactly what I was looking for, a close CQB experience. Earlier during the public game session there were around 12-16 players and a few more later but I had to leave before closing. The staff invited me to come on the weekend when there are more players. The referee - and the employees in the storefront were very helpful in navigating the equipment. I went to strike force on January 16 2022 and the three years of me playing airsoft this has been the worst game I ever been. The refs are assholes and they are very strict for no reason. Meanwhile the refs buddys cheat and do what ever they want while I get yelled at for no reason. My son had his 18th birthday here yesterday Sunday April 3rd. Many issues that came up. There's no big sign that says Strike Force. We were informed Dominos pizza was the pizza orders, when we got there we were told it's a regular pizza place. So we upgraded. My mom and I went to use the ladies room, and there was an out of order sign on the door. The manager said she didn't know until now. Unacceptable. I had 10 boys plus my family. We were told to walk or drove to Dunkin Donuts. My fiancé and I walked to Dunkin, and they were closed. We decided to drive to Burger King. I'm disabled and I have problems walking, so this was very inconvenient for myself. My sons friends weren't too happy they had to walk either. Most of them came in two cars. I paid $50 for a "host" who asked me if she could help. She hardly did anything accept bring pitchers of soda to tables. I did 90% of the cleaning. As well as my 76 year old mother. The place is absolutely filthy. We couldn't even use the bathrooms to wash our hands. Absolutely disgusting. I paid $500 for a party where the bathrooms weren't working for my guests, I was mainly the host cleaning up. I've heard negative reviews about this place, but I took my chances. My sons gun broke twice within two days. And because he's a teenager, they treat him differently. We spent over $400 at the pro shop between guns and other items. The manager during the party should of gave us a discount and not charged full price of a party with broken bathrooms. And definitely not charge me $50 for a host who barely did anything. I won't be recommending this place to anyone. And I hope when people read this they see how this business is run. It's against the law on OSHAs standards not to having working bathrooms. Come on a Saturday for a midnight 16 and older crowd. Will you leave with bruises? Absolutely, all over your body. Will you have a blast. You bet your ash. It's pricey which is a downside. At $50-$75 per visit, it adds up. Buy the Groupon deal to get 50% off, they accept it. New game every 15 minutes, so the action never ends. They have a pro shop in the front - so you can buy gear, guns, etc. I was a lifelong paintball player. After one time here, I realized you save tons of money on paint, the guns are way more accurate, you don't leave full of paint, and the welts are slightly smaller. You can have a scope on your fun, a flashlight, some players even brought game-legal grenades and flashbangs. It's a ton of fun and you become a believer right away. 4-stars and not 5 because it's a 1 hour drive from NYC. And because it's pricey. Other than that, it's a blast. The refs are very power-hungry and curse at the customers. They threaten to fight 13 year old kids and treat you horribly. They also waste half of the session talking about the rules and threatening people for no reason. We paid for a 4 hour session and only got 2 hours of actual gameplay. The new field is much smaller than the previous location and does not include the "2 floors" that were hyped so much. The map layout is also trash as well as the spawn locations. Attended a birthday party here, and everyone had a blast! The staff was super professional, they let us know everything that was happening, guided us to where we were supposed to go, and assisted us whenever we needed anything. The pro shop is well equipped with a plethora of guns, ranging from beginner to more high-end weapons, along with accessories, grenades, and attire. The field is a very good size for an indoor field (I think the biggest indoor field on Long Island) and to my knowledge they change it arrangement every once in a while so that it's not the same map every time. One other unique thing I enjoy about Strikeforce is that they have a 16+ only public session on Saturday nights in case you are tired of getting shot by kids less than half your age if you're an older person who enjoys airsofting. 11/10 would go back and get my face shot off again read more

The boys have taken to the hobby of airsoft. We picked up the gear here in Christmas of 2011 and they've been begging us to take them at least once a month since then. When we go, the staff is always very accommodating when it comes to all of the questions regarding different types of gear. They seem to have a really good selection and as we learned, even if they don't stock an item, they are more than happy to special order it. When we drop the boys off for a public session, when they come out, they are always bragging about how well their team did and it's fun to listen to the stories they tell. Prices are comparable to a few games of bowling and they can stay for 4 hour sessions. I totally trust the staff and the owner, who actually gave us a free session when one of the boys did the most pull-ups in a group. read more

Just had my son's 11th birthday party here and it was great from start to finish. Our party host was helpful and kind. We had 17 kids, all rowdy 11 year old boys. They used the Nerf Rival guns in the arena and played for an hour then went back to the party room and had pizza and juice for an hour. All we needed to bring was the cake. Easy peasy. The arena was big, lots of places to hide and sneak up on opposing team members. Moms and dads got to hang out in the lounge and relax while watching the kids play live on the tv screens.
