The Guavatron is a standout, and their seltzers are also really good if you want something lighter. The space has a great vibe overall with a fun patio option for nicer days. They also host a lot of events, I love the car events in the summer. Great to walk around their parking lot with a beer and checkout some cool cars. read more

We had a great time at Bauhaus with friends recently! I had an Animales craving, and knew Bauhaus had some good seating, so this made for a great pick for a big group on a weekend evening. Counter service is efficient, and I like how they have something for everyone: beer, seltzer, and THC beverages. There are quite a few large tables here, which is great for large groups if you can snag one! Note that it's mostly large long tables/benches so it's not a lot of smaller seating if you're looking to sit alone or as a pair. I LOVE that Animales has a standing place here - it's the perfect pairing and makes this truly a destination to visit. One of the best parts of our visit? Bauhaus is one of my favorite breweries in the cities! They have a large indoor and outdoor space - however in the colder months inside gets a little crammed. Dogs and children frequent here, which I don't mind. The space is a colorful warehouse to match their colorful beer & seltzer selection. I feel the drink options are truly ever-growing with new seasonal items on the menu constantly. I also love that there's a foodtruck out back all year around, serving up Animales BBQ. My go-to's here are the seltzers and shortpants (summer seasonal shandy). There are so many seltzer flavors, which I feel like is unique for a brewery. Bauhaus Brew Labs was a really good brewery that Steve and myself really, really got into. We had two of their beers and both of them we thought were absolutely fantastic. I gave them both a high rating on Untappd and now I am carrying over this excellent beer experience over to Yelp with a five star score. The first beer we had was the Guavatron which was a fruited gose that we thrilled by. With a variety of flavors involving tartness, fruitiness, sweetness and some sour this gose had all yhe right things going for it! The next beer we equally enjoyed with as much enthusiasm was the Wonderstuff Pilsner. This great light bodied beer is a thrill to drink also with it's clean, hoppy and sweet flavor highlights this wonderful and smooth pilsner is a joy to drink! I bought a t shirt from here too as I really like their logo so further representing for this very fine brewery can continue when out and about exploring other breweries or returning to old favorites. read more

I appreciate the coordination Bauhaus does with local food trucks because it adds to the ease of going there regularly. Additionally, the off street parking lot adds to the draw. My friend and I had such a fun time at Bauhaus Brew Labs! It's huge - with lots of covered seating, outdoor seating, a food truck, and tons of parking. It also make a lot of beers - and a great variety (Pilsner, gose, IPA, lager, stout, a sour, and more). I tried a limited release they had then - Pineapple Helles - and really enjoyed it. My friend tried two other beers and really liked them as well. They also serve hard seltzers and THC/CBD sparkling waters, which aren't my thing but seemed really popular when we were there. The service was great, and the vibes were fun. If I lived in Minneapolis, I'd happily visit Bauhaus on a pretty regular basis! Cool brewery. read more

Big open concept tap room filled with people in the outside portion on a Tuesday evening. Not the most extensive draft list, however there is a nice variety in styles. Decided to get a pint of the Bestoked IPA ($7). Multiple levels of hops with a full bitter flavor and finish. Not the quickest thing to be able to drink, so took one of the many free tables inside and watched the multiple dogs around. They don't seem to serve food here, though there is a food truck schedule. Straightforward brewery that caters to groups and food weather. Prices aren't on the draft board which is annoying. Good spot for a stopover. read more

Variety of drinks to choose from such as tap beers, their can beer selections, and thc drinks which I though was cool that they had different milligram options from 5-10 for their thc drinks. Service was pretty chill to buy a drink, restrooms nice and clean, and for our friends birthday they really came through with the lighter to light the candles for the cake, which was really nice. I wish the food truck would let people know when they are done serving food, and after a certain period of time being neurodiverse, I felt like the music got louder and the noise became very overwhelming as well. Aside from that I would definitely give them a try again maybe during a week day to see how that experience will be. This place is such a cool spot. Great patio. The train going by is such a fun vibe. The beers are great. Get the bolo if you like hard seltzer. So good! The food truck puts out some killer food. Caution if you don't like spicy food. They have an awesome kick on their bowls. Also this place is filled with doggies! Which also gets points! Took my out of town friends here and they loved it! Great space in an old factory in a gentrifying part of town. We were biking between breweries on a damp Saturday afternoon so it was nice to get out of the rain and into a dry space. The selection of beers was not my favorite but I did find one I liked. One in our group tried a kombucha and like it a lot. The BBQ from the food truck smelled great but we just had lunch. This spot has been on my list to go to for a while now and so happy to have checked it out this weekend! The entire space is lively, fun and vibrant! It's the perfect spot for group hangouts with a large indoor and outdoor area. We were with friends and out-of-town visitors and had a blast here. The drinks were also colorful, good and had fun names! I enjoyed the Guavatron and Short Pants! My favorite part was seeing all the cute puppies chilling in the outdoor area. My husband, kids and I came here on a Saturday afternoon. We picked up Spitz on the way there for lunch. It was very busy but we found a spot at a long table. My first beer was the lounge wizard, a hazy pale ale. It was good. The atmosphere was fun, lots of groups of people. And lots of dogs! My kids loved seeing the dogs. They were in the process of repainting the bathroom, that was odd. In the spring and summer they have a food truck, Animales bbq, that I really want to try. We will be back. read more

As far as the Twin Cities brewing scene goes, Bauhaus has been at it longer than most and they have only gotten better as the years have gone by. Out of the gate Bauhaus had a pretty heavy focus on lagers, but over the years that has expanded to include some very solid ales and arguably my favorite local hard seltzers (Bolo sours) The taproom and expansive outdoor space have also seen some changes over the years - all of them for the better. Their sprawling patio is a nice spot to be when the weather permits and is now even better with Animales Burger Co taking up residency here (save for the winter months). The fact that Bauhaus is within walking distance to many other NE breweries and restaurants is just gravy. read more

These guys are in my top five Minnesota craft breweries. Star Gazer, Wonderstuff, and Lounge Wizard are all fantastic. This visit was my first in person at the brewery. It's tucked away in NE MPLS in an industrial building. The lights and airiness of it give it some vibe. I'm guessing the building was something railway related as you can smell the railroad from here, but it's cool. Service was on point and Animales food truck to boot!!! read more

Went here for a Comedy Show. Out of the 5 or 6 comedians, the one that was the most amazing, was Mark Poolos. I looked him up after to see where he would be performing next. I'd definitely see him again, but this review isn't about him completely, it's about the Brewery. This place had a great selection of beers, my friend as pleased. He really liked the two he had. On the other end though, I don't drink, so what was I doing there. Well I was there for the comedy show, but that wasn't a complete bust, what tipped it over to just an okay review, was the selection on Non-alcoholic beverage options. There was a Root Beer on Tap, Sugar Free Red Bull, and Water. As a D.D (designated driver) for many of my friends, I am able to go out with them, and still have a fabulous time, but when there aren't many if any options for me to have a non-alcoholic beverage it's just disappointing. My friends know I will drive them anywhere and everywhere when they are drinking, but they also trying to be nice to my needs and make sure we go somewhere where I can have a diet soda. I understand this place isn't a full bar, it's a Brewery, but to only have 3 options for non-drinkers and 3 crappy ones, is just sad. I know I won't necessarily attend this brewery again, unless I'm picking up my friends, however because we like to all hang together, I doubt they will pick this place again. read more

Since we hadn't been here it was a bit harder to find. The maps took us to a building and basically said you are here. Super place. I like to go here w my pup, and they are so welcoming of that even indoors. It's usually got a good crowd on the weekends or evenings, but it's still straightforward and easy to order a beer. They have great brews and have some that they distribute but going to the brewery gets you access to ones that aren't canned. Dog friendly and welcoming is delicately the biggest plus for me- that and the very high concentration of breweries in this area of Minneapolis makes it easy to walk or bike to others nearby, such as Able or Social Ciderworks or 612. You could have a great day or evening just hanging in this little area! I came here for the 4th anniversary party with the Mr. We were excited to try a new (to us) brewery, and got excited when this looked like a combination of a paint splattering rave/1980's band's glitter makeup. I was shocked, first of all, that we found parking so easily at such a popular event. The beer sales tents (cash only) were scattered all over the grounds which made for short lines. They had a few good food trucks with a variety of options, a giant inflatable slide, and some fantastic cover music all night long. I tried four different beers and can't honestly say any were better or worse than the others. They really deliver a consistent beer quality across the various types. The Wonderstuff may have edged out the others by being a solid Pilsner that, surprisingly, was 5.4 ABV. This place definitely knows how to please a crowd with all of the free games and large lawn space. I can't wait to come back for another event! read more

If you're looking for a dog-friendly brewery, Bauhaus Brew Labs should definitely be your hangout spot. I brought a group of my friends here for my birthday before COVID-19 and was delighted to see 6-7 dogs in the space. The place was crowded for trivia night, but we still had a great time at a small high top. My favorite was the Lounge Wizard juicy pale ale. I've even bought it at local liquor stores so I can have it at home with me. Once patios open again, I'll go back to sit on Bauhaus's. The giant garage door siding makes this industrial brewery a fun, spunky place to hang out. read more

I love this place! The service is so so so incredible! They are friendly and helpful and everything that a top notch brewery needs! And, the beer is incredible too! I love the bock and the IPA and even the PILSNER! And I don't even like Pilsner style beers and theirs is awesome! The space is big and beautiful and they allow dogs! The tables are nice and far apart and they have all the COVID protocols in place. The bathrooms have water that is nicely temperatured and super clean. They also have plentiful parking. I don't know what there is to not like about it! My only beef is I live farther away than I would like-nothing they can do about that! read more
