It's nice they have a patio but it's beset by constant traffic from 44th St on one side and a parking lot with porta pottys on the other. Not exactly getting any fresh air. Moreover, the seating at picnic tables and high tops with cheap un-cushioned bar stools felt pretty half assed but that went along with the overall theme. They allow outside food and had a food truck operating when we went there which was a plus. Ultimately neither one of us were thrilled with our first tap so we bailed. German style brews - think Pilsners, Altbier, Kolsch, Hefeweizen, and my absolute annual favorite - their festbier the receptional. So full of flavor. My year round favorite is the Czech pils if you want light, soft, and sweet. One more weekend of Oktoberfest (they did three this year) and I can't recommend enough!

It is a true nanobrewery in a strip mall nearly impossible to visit…read morebecause the City of St Louis Park and Hennepin County decided to rehab every road that leads to the shop. Technically, one can get there, driving on dirt roads around the construction debris, so please do this. It appears impossible but one can get there. This disaster is projected to wrap up in November, but who knows. What I do know is they open at 3 pm. Please stop in and have a beer. It's a friendly place with lots of games, and a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend the Irish Stout. Let's help out a local business!
