Beer was super good here. Didn't order any of the food though, not that I saw they had any either though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We wanted to find a place without kids, and figured this would be the best bet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are no waiters or "bartenders" per se. You always go up to the counter to order and stand there to wait. It did seem a little odd that while sitting at the bar we still had to walk to the other end to have them pour us a drink and walk back. But that's fine, just different. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A big empty room mostly, can definitely hold a lot of people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Some pinball machines in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall fine atmosphere for a bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We performed a self-guided brewery tour while on a girl's trip - and started at Brühaven. We each got a flight, and out of them all, we were obsessed with the butter beer! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This was a cute little brewery with a funky DJ.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We happen to have come during a vendor market, so that was a fun surprise as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Beer so good, we took some to go!

I went to check out Bruhaven tonight with a friend. They did not have many drink options yet as they just opened but I got the mango sour. It was pretty good and cost $7.50. The prices for drinks ranged $7-$7.50. They also had some snack options including pretzels and goldfish for the kids - but I did not get any. I feel the interior space could be worked on a bit, it feels very empty. It also just screams this was Lakes and Legends. Overall I have hopes for this place, I think it has a good future ahead. Dogs and kids are welcomed. Some arcade games located inside. Street parking, with parking in the school's lot next door in the evenings (but be sure to check its open for parking).

We finally got a chance to visit Brühaven and we are already planning our next visit! They offer coffee and beer and the staff was so nice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were excited at all the seating and large space![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They are dog friendly and had so many nice drink options to choose from![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Next time I'm trying the "brunch flight" that comes with a coffee, mimosa, bloody and beer! Yum!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Open, airy, and the staff are very friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The beers were delicious and [[HIGHLIGHT]]they have ax-throwing, amongst other fun games to play while you visit with your people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It appears the whole city is under renovation and you get a weird vibe walking to this place, but it's worth it and unwarranted in the end.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely recommend a visit!

Had the immense pleasure of checking out one of MN's newest breweries Brühaven ! Taking over the old Lakes and Legends location, Brühaven is starting off big and already making a name for themselves in their beer craft, and in the community! I was able to try their Prog Rock Hazy IPA (not pictured), The Minneapolitan IPA, and the Pup's Premium Lager. All the beers were stellar!! With some amazing updates coming to the brewery, including a coffee shop, pickup window, and some garage doors to allow for outside seating access...this spot is quickly becoming the go-to brewery for locals and their dogs (yes they are dog friendly!!) Check them out and see for yourself how the team at Brühaven is creating a great space in MN's beer culture!

It made me smile to see that some of their glassware is the old Lakes & Legends and some of their tasters are just Beer Dabbler glasses.

Our table was like a big king table and it was hard to converse. Wouldn't recommend for a large group. We split a few appetizers. I did not like the wontons. We got two different wings. I would say the menu is correct on spice scale. Our waiter recommended chipotle saying it would not be spicy. It was too spicy for me. I loved the maple bourbon wings and would get them again. They are wet. I ordered the classic juicy Lucy and waffle fries. The juicy Lucy did not disappoint!! Yummy! The waffle fries were not crispy and were not hot. Dirty dishes sat while we waited for our meal. Dirty dishes sat while we ate our meal. Dirty dishes sat when we were done our meal (like the same app dirty dishes!). Even after we paid the bill, there was still a lone dirty plate with chicken wing bones. Gross. They were amazing at clearing empty glasses and replenishing drinks- dishes, not so much.

It's usually not hard to find a spot but be prepared to walk a block or two if it's a busy day. I prefer their patio when it's open, but their indoor dining is a nice vibe too. I was originally lured in by their happy hour. The rail drinks are ridiculously cheap, but honestly, their regular cocktails are worth ordering instead. I'm a loyal blueberry margarita fan, but in the summer they bust out a blueberry mojito--only when the mint is in season. Trust me, if it's available, get it. As for food, I can be a bit of a mac-and-cheese snob, but the bang bang mac is pretty solid. Not life-changing, not anything special, but I've ordered it more than once, which says something. The French onion soup, however? Let's just say I will not be revisiting that journey. I love French onion soup, but this one and I did not spiritually align. Service is fine--slower when it's packed (shocking, I know). But everyone is friendly. Overall, Off the Rails is a good stop if you're already in the neighborhood. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if you're nearby and hungry, it gets the job done.

For breakfast, I ordered two slices of their cinnamon French toast, served with two eggs and bacon. To drink, I treated myself to a delicious, beautifully layered tiramisu latte. Another thing I absolutely love is their grab-and-go bakery case. It is so rare and refreshing to see so many clearly labeled GF treats, like their Lemon Bars and Almond Cheesecake. We couldn't resist taking some goodies to go, so we went home with a lemon bar and one of their GF Fruity Pebbles bars. If you're looking for a delicious, incredibly gluten-free friendly brunch spot with a great atmosphere, you have to check this place out!
