That first version…read moreof the product had some design flaws that led to problems -- cables failing, unpredictable control from the remote and so on. Grant and the team at Williams Ski and Sport were super responsive and helpful in fixing those problems. He's a great troubleshooter and service tech himself. When some of the problems required service by the manufacturer, he coordinated shipment of the parts back to the company and stayed on them until the repairs had been made. He even got them to replace some parts that had not yet failed, but looked likely to do so soon, saving me visits to his shop and more shipments to HQ. Saved me money, too -- those replacements cost me nothing! We've got a lake place near the shop. His focus on customer satisfaction keeps me coming back -- I know I can trust him and his team. Just last week I was in the shop looking for trainer skis for a very young relative who badly wanted to be like the big kids. One of the sales folks showed me the Connelly Firecracker, a design I'd never heard about before. The next day we had a deliriously happy five-year-old in our midst, and I'm set up for the next generation of ambitious lake visitors. Love the shop and staff. Really can't say enough good stuff.

Feeling a bit hesitant at first to do it on bike but it was the best feeling. It was a perfect 68, clear skies and lilac blooms along the way. The perfection was almost overwhelming. A tram is also available for a round trip adventure but the bike was just too fun to pass up. Along the way we saw all kinds of little critters, snakes, fish and birds. Stopped at the tree house, chapel and most of the waterfalls. On bike with all the stops about 2 hours, walking could easily be 3+. Bikes are $15 each and I highly recommend getting there early so you have your pick cause the good ones go fast. Some have baskets and you should get one of those and then fill it with a picnic lunch. Little under $20 per person for entry, with discounts for veterans, seniors and children. Large parking but the place is popular, so again if possible arrive early.

Then when we got there, the check in lady, recommended the Tram like we had been besties forever an we would really miss out of we didn't do it. 0 regrets. She was so right. Didn't love the restaurant, but literally everything else was amazing.

We were unable to get it back up so this left us with no shade relief during a 106-degree day. We eventually made it back to the marina where the dock guys, upon seeing our broken canopy, were extremely apologetic and mentioned "knowing that was going to happen" due to the deteriorating quality of the canopy support. Returning inside to the owners to discuss the situation we were rudely told that we should have called the desk and he would have "brought us another boat". Making it OUR fault that they knowingly sent us out on a shotty boat. Who wants to call the support desk and wait for a replacement boat clear across the lake? We asked for a compensation from our total rental fee since we did not get the full service that we paid for and not only was this owner unwilling to give us any money back but he was extremely rude and confrontational in the situation. Not a way to treat paying customers at all. Not a way to run a rental service business at all. I realize this is a boat marina in Arkansas, but the actions were very unprofessional for someone asking for hundreds of dollars to rent a broken boat. At the very end, he finally comped some of our gas money but this was after arguing and making us feel like we were in the wrong for 20 minutes. There are plenty of other marinas on Table Rock that will give you a better experience. There's no need to be such an ass on the lake!
