What a a joke! So the guy named Shawn charged me 1600$ for a few lights hanging from the ceiling and a few outlet switches. This job was estimated to be around 800-1000$ depending on the price of the electrician... They overcharged me on every single little thing they could. He also charged me an extra hour untill I went over it and caught the mistake... Shawn told me he had to leave halfway through the day I hired him to go help out on another job... I had to have lights and wires all dangling from the ceiling. It looked like a completely mess for business days He finally came in, on my ONLY OFFDAY on Sunday to finish his job... Who comes back during the weekend to finish there reg week day job!??? Someone very unprofessional I'll tell you that! Sunday is my only off day so I wasn't to happy to come do that but I didn't care as much becuase I needed this done. He took his sweet time in almost everything. I could tell he was milking the situation. There were so many issues with this that I feel like I should go to the authorities. **Anyways for anyone else hiring from Baxter electric Please know they will try to milk your pocket as much as they can with ping the minimal amount of effort. I can't say enough positive things about Baxter Electric. I live in Texas but had to have 15 light fixtures replaced at a rental property we own in Bend, Oregon. Based on the 5 star rating this business had on Yelp, I hired Tom to replace the fixtures. He coordinated with the commercial tennant so as not to disrupt them during office hours. He replaced just one of the fixtures at my request so we could make sure the new lights would not be too bright. Then he replaced the additional 14 fixtures on time and with extreme professionalism. Called Baxter with a pretty simple job of replacing a GFCI outlet I wasn't comfortable with. Tom responded promptly, made an appointment and showed up exactly on time. I can't say enough about Tom Baxter and the job be did. He was efficient and did not waste and time in hanging 4 high light fixtures and put in 3 canned lights- not even a lunch break. He charged me less than half of the quote I got from another electrician in town. He was available to come out soon as well. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He was helpful in choosing light bulbs as well which isn't so easy these days. read more
