The treating veterinarian had already read them and was aware of my concerns. The Veterinarian took her time with me and my senior cat. She truly listened to my concerns and gave me several options with continuing with his care. It was incredibly helpful to me. It had been 4 weeks of endless visits with another veterinarian office. My best friend was facing euthanasia. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. It was here that he was diagnosed with a yeast infection in his ear. With their ear treatment and his treatment for his thyroid issues he is thriving. I'm so blessed to have found them. I definitely recommend them.

"Well I guess I can see what the other doctor is doing and maybe they can help you". When I arrived I was met with 2 arrogant receptionists talking on the phone. I politely waited for 10 minutes and then went up and told them my dog needed to be seen and that he wasn't breathing good. I signed everything I needed to sign just to be told to sit down and wait (I'm assuming on the very important doctor to finish their little lunch). I waited so long I eventually left to go to the Bowden animal hospital. He was given a steroid shot along with medication. As I was walking out CARROLL COUNTY ANIMAL HOSPITAL CALLS ME saying "where are you. We're ready to treat your dog now". That place shouldn't be labeled a "hospital" let alone a vet if they are willing to let your animal die in the waiting room just because they're incompetent and lazy! Take your animals to the Bowden animal hospital, price creek in Bremen or the other hospital in Carrollton! This place needs to be shut down and the people here need to lose any kind of certification or licenses they have!

I found this clinic to be clean, fresh, warm, the doctor was friendly, informative, and the staff treated my pup as if he was their own. Even though they didn't carry all the boosters we needed (the NorthEast have a few more commonly vaccinated-against diseases than the SouthEast- lepto & Lyme), they were very apologetic about it. The doctor gave my pup a very thorough exam even though we were only there for vaccines. At the end, the price astonished me! In New York it would've been three to four times the cost for what they did! Highly recommend this establishment for ALL your animal needs. Then the vet tech came in gave her an antibiotic shot and a prescription for Apoquel (in the chemo therapy family of meds). She took out her stethoscope listened to his heart, palpated him and said "no, I don't hear it," The next day, I took my cat to a vet I have used for more than 20 years, made the diagnosis of congestive heart failure. When he began to suffer a month or so later of diabetes (he refused to eat so I couldn't give him his insulin) and he began to cry in pain. I needed a vet to come to my house, it was a Sunday and I had obtained her home phone from who did some handyman work for me. I called her and in an angry and hostile manner said: " I've got the flu, I ain't goin anywhere." I begged her to come to euthanize my baby boy since she lives 10 minutes away. I told her I would pay her, and she still refused. I called another vet I had used and he came right away. He was pleasant and the price was high, but I wasn't willing to let my cat die a miserable, and painful death. As far as I'm concerned she is only good for cutting nails.

We have taken all of our cats to them for over 25 years and they have always been extremely kind, gentle and especially caring!! Recently we took our 16 year old cat in on an emergency visit because he was totally lethargic, had been limping and not himself at all. Dr Martin ran tests and found nothing but listened to all the symptoms and recommended a new treatment for cats with arthritis - it's called Solensia and it is a MIRACLE worker and not too expensive considering the relief it gave my fur baby!! They make it for dogs too!! My cat has stopped limping and is like his young self again - even playing with our 2 year old cat!! An especially big hug goes to Deidra who has been with the business for many years. She is an absolute treasure and the most caring person I've ever met. Every time there is any issue that the sweet girl at the register is having Nick comes over already irritated and acting annoyed she was even called to do her job. she is vocal about this inconveniencing her and her body language and face shows that she should not be in a leadership role. I understand everyone has a bad day once in a while but this is EVERYTIME. I feel bad for the employees more than anything I would never stay at a job where I was spoken to like that just because I needed help. Makes me not want to shop at this location because I do not want to have to deal with her attitude.
