He assured me that there was never an intent to defraud and I believe him. I realize now that I should have taken responsibility for calling my insurance company myself. Had I done so, I would have learned that for audiology, a deductable applies as opposed to a copay. In turn, Dr. Perry has advised his staff to be more explicit when discussing insurance benefits with patients. I appreciate his candor and his honesty and the fact that he took the time to call me. As I mentioned in my original review, everyone was very nice; I would like to add that there was absolutely no pressure to buy hearing aids, I was upset when I wrote my original review, and feel that the misunderstanding has been resolved. Note to readers: check your own insurance.

They really could care less about your time but more about how many visits can they get and charge you for.

She sent them back to the manufacturer twice. Both times they came back working no better. No further attempts were made to fix the problems. Frustrated with missing out on hearing things I found another Audiologist who thoroughly examined my hearing. She told me what she was doing why. She recalibrated the aids using the test results. That's all it took to get me hearing again. Wish I had shopped for a more knowledgeable Audiologist sooner.

I consider that a violation of my health privacy. I called the business to have my name removed from the mailing list. I wish I found this place years ago. I have very skinny ear canals (Doctor noticed right away). And…read morenot very straight. So every 3-5 years I have too much earwax buildup that it affects my hearing and it gets uncomfortable. I used to go to Patient First to get my ears irrigated, but that takes a long time -- I could be there for hours just to see someone and get it done. I recently tried the minute clinic at a local CVS, and the doctor tried to irrigate, but could not fully get my ears cleared. Waste of an hour and $95. Alas I found Taylor Listening Center. I was able to get an appointment for the next day (awesome). The ladies there are all so friendly. She used a much more sophisticated irrigation system than the water bottle CVS had. After a few attempts in each ear, they were happy to see my earwax come out. If you're open to it, agree to have them record and they will put it on their various social media. They don't really show your face, so you don't even have to worry about that. They just get really excited about the things they pull from people's ears! It really is a passion here. I was able to pay with my HSA easily, so that was a breeze. I was in and out in less than 30 min. I would recommend coming here for all your hearing needs.

I had to find a new provider and visited several companies and their approach was basically this is what's available, take it. Many vendors only had support for Apple cell!! Dr Miller actually called a couple manufacturers and found one that had an aid that met my requirements. Highly recommend Kaplin Hearing, who now operate under HearUSA.

Shame was I really wanted it because it supported 4 programs and multiple Bluetooth channels. Started visiting area Audiologists for my new hearing aids I've worn aids for over 20 years and know what I want and what to expect to pay. Shopping was so frustrating. Seemed most just wanted to sell you something and send you away. One had 4 brands that met my minimal requirements, but charged the exact same price for any of them! Finally stopped in Kaplan Hearing Center (now DBA HearUSA). The Audiologist Ms Miller listened to what I wanted and asked the right questions. I had my current hearing graph so no testing was required. She could see what I needed. She went down the list of brands they carried and unfortunately the only one that met my requirements was the same brand I has just returned. She really wanted to help me, so asked if I would reveal where I got the ones that failed. I told her and she said "let me check something". She called the support line and discussed with a tech for quit a while and found the warehouse I got the bad ones from are a lesser quality with less features, and were an older model. With her very professional treatment and I would have 6 months to try it, I decided to try it again. She placed the order and in a week I went back for the fitting. The aids had 3 program functions setup by the Audiologist and unlimited programs I could create myself. She set the 3 programs as I requested and showed me how to use all the functions from my Cell. It was a very satisfactory experience and I'd highly recommend them. A year later and I still love the aid. It pairs with my cell, laptop and car radio. OH! And I get free batteries for life. I've been to this office twice, once for me and once for my daughter who is 4. During my visit I…read moresat in the waiting room for over an hour then once they got be back to a room had me sit for another half an hour before anyone came to see me. When Dr. Jordan finally did see me he examined my ears then sent me back out to the waiting room because he didn't have the specific exam room available that he needed to treat me. Needless to say it was a three hour doctors appointment for him to tell me there was something wrong with my ears but he didn't know what and if I had any further issues to come back. Fast forward to my daughters appointment.... again sat in the waiting room for over an hour! When they finally got us back to a room they examined her ears and put some hydrogen peroxide in her ears and had us wait 20-30 minutes because the doctor was on the phone and couldn't come back in the room. They switched us back and forth from three different rooms and in total we were there for FOUR HOURS!! I was floored by how slow and disorganized this office is and should have known better then to go back a second time but I figured my first experience was a fluke and surely it couldn't happen again. When I questioned them why it took so long for us to be seen the only explanation they could give was that they squeezed an appointment in ahead of mine (it took me a month to get my appointment). If your looking for an ENT run away from here! I will never go back to this office, what a horrible experience!
