I was told that I wasn't able to schedule in person at the office and was provided with a phone number and extension to call. Called the number and put on hold for 15 minutes. Person answered and said I dialed the wrong extension. I used the extension they provided. I advised the person I needed to schedule an appointment with Doctor Tsay for a EMG and I have a referral. She asked from what office and I told her. She said that the office I provided wasn't compatible with their system and I have to fax the referral to them. I said I was just at the Plumtree location why couldn't I have left a copy. She said it didn't work that way. So how am I supposed to fax it over when I don't have a fax machine. Something has to give with our medical system and people need to do their jobs. The system is failing. It's ridiculous to have to go through all these hoops to schedule an appointment. It was quick and not painful like I thought it would be. He explained that the medication may take a few days to start working. If any discomfort I can apply ice packs. Therapy was painful at the beginning, but Savleen was always encouraging and so kind and patient. She was comforting through my pain and talked me through some difficult moments. She gave me exercises to do at home on the days I didn't attend PT. Two weeks out from surgery and I have just about regained full mobility and am so grateful for the entire staff. Appointments were easy to make and the girls who work at the front desk were helpful in figuring out an insurance issue and making my frequent appointments. This is the second time in the last ten or so years that I have selected the Texas Station Clinic for treatment of my back. I was able to obtain a perfect schedule for twice a week, same days, and same time for seven weeks. During that time, I also was given a prescribed exercise routine for home that was designed by Brian for my pain management. Now that I have "graduated" I am following a slightly more challenging home program that Brian developed to maintain my pain management and overall wellbeing. He took the time to explain the entire process, set realistic expectations for my size and results, talked honestly about healing and scarring, and, most importantly, genuinely listened to what I wanted. I never felt rushed or pressured. At no point throughout this entire experience did I leave his office with an unanswered question or feeling anything other than completely happy with my decision. His staff is equally wonderful. Everyone was consistently kind, professional, responsive, and accommodating. When I needed to move my surgery date, they made rescheduling incredibly easy. Leading up to surgery, they followed up to make sure I had everything I needed and knew exactly what to expect for surgery and recovery. The office itself is clean, quiet, private, and welcoming. I genuinely look at least 10 pounds lighter simply because my proportions have changed so much. And to be very clear about how life-changing that is for me: I have worn a bra with absolutely everything since I was about 15 years old. I wore bras to sleep and sometimes needed multiple bras to play sports. Dr. Basner gave me results that are beautiful and natural while still giving me the reduction I wanted. After seeing photos of Dr. Basner's rhinoplasty work and loving how natural his results were, I decided to ask about having my nose done at the same time since I was already going to be under anesthesia. I actually loved my nose from the front, but I had a large bump in my profile and felt that the tip had started to droop slightly. My biggest fear was that rhinoplasty would change the nose I already loved from the front. It didn't. It just made me love it even more. He removed the bump, refined the tip, and somehow kept my nose looking completely like my nose. It is so natural that unless I tell someone, I don't think they would ever know I had a rhinoplasty. My face even still works to unlock my phone! That was exactly what I wanted: an improved version of myself, not a completely different face. I was also pleasantly surprised by how affordable the entire experience was, especially considering the level of care, the quality of the facility, and the fact that I was having both a breast reduction/lift and rhinoplasty. For the results and experience I received, I feel like the value was exceptional. To say I am happy with my results would be a gross understatement. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Dr. Basner is incredibly talented, but what stood out just as much was the care I received before, during, and after surgery. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for beautiful, natural results and a surgeon who truly listens to what you want. If I could give him 100 stars, I would.
