The surgery was performed and the Dr Soued placed a breast tissue expander immediately after the Breast Surgeon completed her work. The expander is to epand breast tissue over a period of time in preparation of an implant. Each office visit saline is injected into a port on the expander to grow the tissue. My expander began to fail and the saline began to leak out causing a high risk of infection. It had to be removed the next day. As a result of the surgery I had drains placed at the wound site which is normal. My last visit the nurse removed the drains and sent me on my way. I asked "what happens next" her reply was we will be in touch. That was in August of 2020. Not a word from them since. Dr Soueid never said another word to me. I realize things do not always go as planned, but this Doctor dismissed me at the worst time in my life, going through Breast Cancer. He added to my worry and stress. I went in for a repair and also to break up some scar tissue that had developed. I wasn't charged for another procedure (good), but did have to pay the hospital fees for the operating room. Fast forward a year or so and I actually developed breast cancer (no fault of the doctor of course), but when my oncology surgeon went in to remove the implants and breast tissue, there was a large hole in my lung which caused serious complications and a collapsed lung. The hole was from when Dr. Rodriguez went in to remove scar tissue and repair the uniboob issue. I was told that the implant was covering the hole and it looked like it was placed there on purpose to cover his mistake. Please do your research and do not use this surgeon.
