I would address my accolades specifically to Jimmy, my PT. He was smart, knowledgeable, and adjusted my treatment plan based on my progress, and his rehab plan and treatment helped me, and now I am 100% recoverd. Jimmy is also a good listener, humble, and a nice guy. Should the need arise, I would not hesitate to come see him again.

I was in that exact spot after surgery, but Jimmy didn't just get me walking again he got me back on the court. What makes Jimmy different is that he doesn't use a "one size fits all" PT manual. He actually reached out and worked directly with my surgeon to build a regimen that suited my specific body and my specific goal of playing basketball again. The sessions were high energy and he tailored everything to the mechanics of the game. In addition to your standard ACL recover routine we did other activities I've never seen at other clinics: Rebound Drills: Literally doing explosive rebounding drills off the office wall to rebuild my jumping confidence. The Sticky Note Test: He had me snatching sticky notes off the ceiling to work on my vertical and reach. Lockdown Defense: To test my lateral quickness, he had me defending one of the clinic assistants in live drills. He knows that recovery is 50% physical and 50% mental. By the time I finished my sessions, I wasn't just healed I actually felt like an athlete again. If you are injured and want to play again, this is the place.

He explained what likely happened to my body during the impact and walked me through a clear recovery plan, which made me feel a lot more at ease. What really stands out is how knowledgeable he is. Every adjustment feels intentional, and he always explains why he's doing it and what it's supposed to help. He also gave me simple exercises and posture tips to support the healing process at home, which made a big difference between visits. I never felt rushed, and he genuinely cares about long-term recovery rather than quick fixes. After several visits my mobility improved and the pain decreased significantly. Pilates: I love attending the reformer classes, particularly Alba's and Jessica's, but I've attended most if not all of the instructors' classes and they've all been great. The weekend classes do get kind of quick so it's better to book in advance. Gym: Clean, never packed (at least when I go). I always find space to stretch with no issue and have never had to wait for what I need. People put their weights back. There are spray bottles and cloths to wipe what you use after. The bathrooms are clean, and the red light sauna is a treat (honestly my deciding factor for adding the membership lol). I've yet to use the cold plunge or the showers. You get $10 off when you have more than 1 membership. I had a billing issue in the beginning and they were very responsive and helpful. All together I pay $164/mo for both. The lack of a parking lot is a mild inconvenience, but street parking is hardly an issue with all the residential streets with free parking around Park. Great gym!!

From day one, they've been professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my progress. Every workout is well-structured, challenging, and tailored to my goals and fitness level. They push me just the right amount while always making sure my form is correct and that I'm training safely. If you're looking for a trainer who is reliable, encouraging, and results-driven, this is absolutely the one. Worth every penny!

It was an…read moreold injury, he helped me to recover fast, and he sent me to a Chiropractor in Oakland for adjusting the loose knee, since this is not his speciality. Because I worked in SF finance district, I found a person who does chiropractic and acupuncture. I keep going nowadays every year. He's the only doctor I trusted because he was so good. However, 6 months ago, because of work stress, and led to be fired. My nerve system was completely messed up. I didn't recognize how much the stress damaged my body. Every night I slept in pain, woke up with tensed body and sore and painful muscles. I went to see the person in SF a few times, and I couldn't believe it didn't work after lots of treatment because it has been working with me for the past 10 years for my knee, shoulder, and hip pains. A few days ago, I realized it's the stress that completely messed up my nerve system. And I need to find someone to help me relieve my nerve system. Because of the realization, I thought about Kevin immediately and booked an appointment with him. I went in today, and he wrote down the notes for the pains I had, and he wrote down his plan with a few hand movements in the air to see which part of my body should be treated first. Patiently, he gave me treatment, and after each one, I walked outside his clinic, and I could tell my turns got faster and the pace got bigger. One of the major pains is in my left leg, left hip, one of the gentle adjustments he made, after 1 s, I stood there see my body turning 7 times on the left naturally without any pull from anybody. Finally, that side got relieved, my hip rotated back to where it was supposed to be. The back of my knee was swollen with a big ball. The acupuncture didn't take it away completely. Kevin told me that the front muscle was rotated outward. He made a few adjustments, and when I put my leg down from the stool, I felt like someone was pulling my leg down with a soft landing, and I could feel and see myself standing like a normal person without leaning to the left. Neck and shoulder were the biggest pain I had, and Kevin started with that area as the 1st treat. Immediately, my shoulder went down, headache was removed. If you like me being stressed. Try it out here. It's worthy you time, and it really heals.

I have a host of injuries old and new, and Kevin's work has been like a magic wand. Two days ago I could barely crawl up the stairs (multiple nerve impingements from a spine injury, and a torn tendon in my hip.) Yesterday's session got me about 40% better, and today at about 75% better, as the work "sinks in." The body has to start accepting the changes, and as it does, the healing is surprisingly powerful!

Turns out his dad has his own clinic a few doors down! Simon trained in Hong Kong, lived here for a couple decades and thus speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English pretty fluently. He is great at what he does and charges reasonably for what he can accomplish. Today's visit for my chronic neck injuries lasted about 30-40 minutes (I didn't keep track of time but it was less than an hour) and involved some history taking, examination, education on specific exercises I could do for wrist and shoulder injuries, then a focused deep tissue massage, and application of a heated herbal poultice. Dr. Tang has a great bedside manner and is focused (he massages each tenderpoint for 1-3 minutes, on a timer). All this for $80. He's much better than the Tiet-Da doctors I went to in Hong Kong. In general, daily treatment for acute injuries can get you better within a few treatments (depending on severity) and longstanding chronic injuries typically resolve with daily treatment for about three weeks. I've had some promising results, I will be back tomorrow!

She had me try an at home treatment and after 6 months I decided to go back in since the home treatment didn't help. The next step (which was a big one for me) was removing the nail. Well, she did a damn fine job. I felt nothing and the toe nail healed up perfectly. Fast forward a year and it feels like an ingrown is happening. I head back in, she takes a look, agrees, and I walk out 15 min later with a small bandage over the toe. Three weeks later and it's totally healed. No more pain, looks fantastic. Dr Strauser has been so helpful and super responsive. She hands out a number to call / text if anything goes wrong after a procedure and has a great sense of humor to boot.
