He keeps you waiting then spends most of the visit talking about himself! He belittles your reason for making the appointment, even when requesting an overdue follow-up scan for lung cancer, saying it's not urgent and at the bottom of the list! He is a control freak who does not LISTEN to his patient. But the worst thing is his violation of HIPAA. The exam room doors are never closed and while waiting for him, you can hear EVERY word as he "treats" the patient in the room next door or across the hall. Even personal questions and answers are broadcast in his loud, booming voice. Someone (who should know better) recommended him to me, and after reading some glowing reviews online, all I can say is that those raving about this "doctor" don't know what a good, professional physician is! My advice is steer clear of him and the Largo Dedicated Senior Medical Center. The front desk Manager, Connor, did not even have the courtesy to follow up with my complaint, despite saying he would. Nor did Christopher Chen, the CEO of Chen Medical--who owns the Dedicated Senior Centers--return my call, so right there, that speaks volumes about this shady outfit! It's all about money at these controlling geriatric clinics. I guess my next call will be to Medicare re the violation of HIPAA.

Totally unexpected. And what? This place saved her life. ER doctors were great! Nurses, 100% amazing! Lance on the 4th floor called for ICU when he realized she was septic at 104F it. Then. Dr Lombard - Urologist. Saved her life - both of them. Then Donna - Charge nurse on floor 5 after everything was done. Her crew was top notch and #1. My wife spent 11 days in this hospital. Donna and her nursing staff were the best I have ever experienced at ANY hospital in my entire life. Kudos to these ladies who work their butts off behind the scenes. They even let my Dalmatian come into the hospital with me. And I had only 1 really terrible nurse on the 4th floor ( Julie - you know who you are - thank god you do not work for me - you'd be fired instantly - you almost killed my wife - thanks for not listening to her - made her sleep in puke with a 104 fever and septic - real good Julie. ) Lance came on shift after Julie and noticed she was 104F and called for ICU instantly and knew she was septic. This Julie nurse almost killed my wife - I hope you can sleep at night. Every single other doctor and nurse was thorough and helpful. Thank you to Lance on 4, Donna on 5, and ALL of the nurses on 5. My wife and I have sat and cried about how well she was treated at this place. We have reflected on how Julie almost killed her. And how Lance saved her life, and Dr Lombard as well. We cried about all the great experiences we had on the 5th floor with Donna and each of her nurses. Donna and her staff made this the absolute most wonderful hospital stay that I have ever experienced in my entire life. I want to express extreme gratitude to these people. Thank you! You saved her life! *Quick mention* Security staff at the front entrance - you guys were top-notch. I really enjoyed you guys, and thank you for everything! You guys were amazing and deserve a raise!!!!!

About two weeks ago my mom was admitted after a stroke and everyone from the ER triage nurses to the people delivering meal trays were just so nice, helpful and patient with my mother and kept our family up to date with things regarding her health. Since we spent a few long days at the hospital we were given a cart with tea, coffee, bottled water, soft drinks, fruit and snacks every day that were were there. That was completely unexpected and so appreciated. I especially appreciate the nurses in the Neuro ICU unit and the nurses in the third floor comfort care unit. Their compassion and was incredible especially since such an awful time in our lives. They have a DD downstairs in the lobby and a cafeteria where the food actually isn't bad at all. They even provide meals free of charge sent to the patient's room if you want.

I was then assigned to a gentleman NP who also disappeared after a visit or too. Also, an excellent clinician. From that point the experience when completely downhill. I started see different providers. No one would listen to my complaints or my health concerns. The visits were short and useless. I ended up with a bad infection in my gums and I went to the office to see if they would start me on an antibiotic until I could get into a dentist. The NP, Covina I think her name was - was absolutely rude. I ended up seeing her 3 more times and each encounter was more miserable. I lodged a complaint with Medicare. Finally I got the dental work done. The drugs the dentist gave me forced me to go off my other medication. It caused major complications. By Sunday, I was in such pain in my stomach and chest, I thought I was having a heart attack. I called the answering service at Mahajan 8:00 am. Someone was supposed to call me back. I called again at 10:00. Someone was supposed to call me back. At noon I brough myself to an ER because I felt like I was going to die. I got home from the Er at 3:30 and the dr from Mahajan called - 7 hours later. I immediately assigned myself a new PCP. I cancelled my appt I had with them. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

The gentlemen who took my…read moreblood immediately struck a nerve (I'm assuming this was the case) when inserting the needle. He adjusted the needle which caused another extremely painful shock that ran all the way down my body. I immediately became sick and was on the verge of vomiting. I went to my car and laid in the back seat. The nausea & painful pinging would not subside for the remainder of the day. I emailed the office twice explaining the situation in which I received no response. The following day, my arm from my elbow to my hand was completely numb and had very little strength. I would experience bouts of very uncomfortable burning in my hand as well. I got ahold of the office via the phone and asked for them to please notate this in my record (I would later find that they never did this). They said that one of their technicians would be available later in the week to scan my arm. This appointment was very quick. The technician ran a wand down my arm, said she didn't see anything and then gave me a sling for my arm. My arm remained in this sling for nearly a month as all functionality was lost. The occasional pinging & burning pains did not subside for months even after regaining strength in my arm. Fast forward to today 7/24/24 and I received a call from the front office in an attempt to collect money from these appointments. I said that I would pay for the blood draw but did not think it was fair to be charged for the nerve inspection as this appointment would not have been necessary if they did not damage my arm in the first place. The representative put me on hold to "speak to her boss". She then returned and stated that I would still have to pay for it. I also learned during this call that no mention of the damage was notated in my record. My entire experience with this medical center has felt so gross. I obviously do not recommend this place and pray that nobody else gets screwed like I did. For context, the screenshots below are the 2 emails I sent while lying in my car immediately after having blood drawn. I remember being too sick to get up and legitimately worried that something was permanently damaged. Fun experience.

When you aren't feeling well and you know that something is wrong you go to the doctor. You expect…read morethat doctor to listen to you - listen to your symptoms, how long you've been dealing with the issues, etc and then try to get to the root of the problem and treat you. Before coming to Dr. Trevino I had seen several doctors, all of which either did not know what was causing my health issues (and didn't make much of an effort to figure it out) or brushed me off. Dr. Trevino was recommended to me so I made an appointment, even though he is located over an hour from my home. I figured this appointment was going to go like the rest of them, but I took a shot. First, scheduling an appointment was easy. The office staff is friendly, and I got an appointment within the month. When I arrived at the office I only waited a few minutes to be seen. The office was not overflowing with double-booked patients as is usually the case with most offices. This office actually has you seen by your appointment time (or very close to it). Dr. Trevino asked me what was going on and listened quietly as I talked about the issues I had been going through. He performed a test in the office and let me know what he thought was going on. He was able to link all of my symptoms except one, and referred me to a specialist about that. His explanation of the condition was thorough. He asked me if I had questions, listened to them, and provided me with answers. He came up with a treatment plan using both medicine and lifestyle changes, and again explained all of the reasoning behind why the medicine and lifestyle changes help the condition. I have seen him quite a few times since the first visit and each time Dr. Trevino is patient and works with you to tailor your treatment plan. He figures out what is working and what is not, and comes up with ideas to work on to get you feeling better. Dr. Trevino is an internal medicine doctor, but does treat a lot of patients with Dysautonomia. He is very knowledgeable about the conditions and stays on top of research. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Trevino is you have one of these conditions.
