We recently purchased a house and we have a huge tree in the front yard that is growing over the power lines. I contacted pge to come cut the branches or trim the tree but they said I was responsible for it and that they would only trim the branch if it grew to the 3rd lines. The 1st line was communication lines and good luck getting any of them to trim the half dead tree. I took it upon myself to get rid of 3 trees on the property. Stumps and all. The plum tree was very close to the house potentially getting very big and causing drain issues with roots and the other 2 old big trees in front and back that were decaying. I called and got estimates from 5 companies. Mario is licensed and had the best pricing for the work and his team worked very efficiently in getting all 3 trees cut, stumped, chipped, and hauled away in a day. Took great care to protect so as to not damage our brick retaining wall and the neighbors driveway when felling this huge thick palm tree in between our properties in the front yard. I contacted this business to remove a small-ish street tree that was leaning significantly after last winter's severe wind storms. Probably gave it longer than I should have, because they were able to remove it cleanly without using a grinder. The pricing was competitive, and the wait time for the project was only a few days. While the actual work was professionally done, I was rescheduled at the last minute from an 830 AM start time to between 2-3PM (same day). I was able to manage this change in my schedule, but it suprised me and I wish I had known in advance that they had a schedule conflict. read more

i called Mario on the morning after the storm hit. I had concerns of a large tree in the back yard falling and doing damage. He came in sooner than I expected to evaluate the tree and quoted me on the spot. it was very fair and I agreed to the work. Honesty I was skeptical because of the competitive quote and I just had a bad experience with having my queen palms pruned. But, Mario and his team were exceptional. On time, fast, really fast. I had a 20-25' queen palm and a shaking Aspen removed and stump grinding. I greeted them showed them the trees, went inside to have breakfast then went back out to see how the work was going and they were done. And left the area cleaner than when they got there.
