Danny even came back after the inspection passed, and noticed a few items that the inspector missed and had it scheduled for us right away. Unfortunately, this is not the case for us. We started the process with them in Feb. 2021 and it is currently Aug 2021. We were told it would take about 3 months and we are now going into half a year! I totally understand they've been slower Bc of the pandemic and I know the process took a little because the permit people got covid, but it's starting to get a little ridiculous. We were told the concrete takes the longest but that was the quickest. We were told they were coming back To repaint it and 2 weeks the screen would be up but then Amy stated she said 3 weeks. If we knew it would take this long we would have went with another company. We've had to pay so much money to host family gatherings and our daughters party at a venue Bc the screen we planned on having has not been done. It's sad we thought we would have this for the summer, but that came and went. At this point I may start seeing if the better business bureau can help or just contact them Bc it's starting to feel like we were scammed and flat out lied to. Hopefully they can contact us this week and give us a discount because we had to come out of pocket with other locations since our backyard wasn't ready. Our home had a patio when we took possession of it about three years ago. Unfortunately, it wasn't…read morescreened in, so we hired a neighborhood Handyman to install "regular" screening material. It kept the bugs out but not the rain. Because we have a lot of "stuff" out there, we were forced to bring it in every time it rained. That got old very quickly so I started to research other options and found automatic hurricane screens that raised and lowered the screens with a button on a remote. Who knew? We called around for estimates because I was clueless about the cost. Scott, with HS Shade Solutions, was the first to respond to my request for an estimate. He came out to our house along with a large 3-ring binder containing samples of the different types of material. Our priority was to keep rain out of the patio and, secondarily, hurricane damage. We ended up picking out one that fit our needs. We accepted the price, paid the deposit, and Scott told us it would be 2-3 weeks to get the material (not a problem). The screening is made according to Scott's measurements of the patio. Three weeks turned into two weeks, and we set the date to install the system. To describe Scott's attention to detail and work ethic, I can only use the word "superlative." Everything works smoothly, and it's really great to push a button on one of the two provided remotes. We've been having rainstorms every afternoon, with some driven by high winds, and the patio is dry. My life is complete, and so is this review! A final word: if you're looking for an automatic screening system and a huge selection of material to choose from, make a call to HS Shade Solutions. They'll take good care of you.
