The team at Dulando was fantastic to work with! Danny came out for our enclosure and composite roof estimate and was able to draw everything up and give us a very reasonable quote on the spot with fair payment terms and honest processing/fabrication times. Once the project was permitted the fabrication process took less time than expected and they contacted us as soon as it was ready for installation. The installers did a wonderful job. They were very organized and communicated recommendations or possible issues right away to give us an opportunity to make any changes that would be more aesthetically pleasing. Danny even came back after the inspection passed, and noticed a few items that the inspector missed and had it scheduled for us right away. I mention that, not to point out flaws, but to speak on the company's integrity as I would have not noticed such small details. I received other quotes when searching for an enclosure replacement and Dulando had the BEST client service, and just made me feel extremely confident that the project would go smoothly, and it absolutely did!!!! I REALLLLLY wish I could give them 5 stars because they seemed promising when we initially spoke to them and received some recommendations from people in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, this is not the case for us. We started the process with them in Feb. 2021 and it is currently Aug 2021. We were told it would take about 3 months and we are now going into half a year! I totally understand they've been slower Bc of the pandemic and I know the process took a little because the permit people got covid, but it's starting to get a little ridiculous. We were told the concrete takes the longest but that was the quickest. We were told they were coming back To repaint it and 2 weeks the screen would be up but then Amy stated she said 3 weeks. If we knew it would take this long we would have went with another company. We've had to pay so much money to host family gatherings and our daughters party at a venue Bc the screen we planned on having has not been done. It's sad we thought we would have this for the summer, but that came and went. At this point I may start seeing if the better business bureau can help or just contact them Bc it's starting to feel like we were scammed and flat out lied to. Hopefully they can contact us this week and give us a discount because we had to come out of pocket with other locations since our backyard wasn't ready. It is difficult to give an objective review when your process was an ordeal and it took four months to be completed. We extended our lanai and did a screen enclosure, but our problems started when the deck drain location was changed from what we were initially told, followed by incorrect measurements that resulted in panels that were too short and delayed the installation, unfinished items left after the installation and a side door that wouldn't open freely and failed inspection twice. We do have to recognize that they worked with us until the project was "completed" and we have an enclosure with working doors, however, the process to get there was less than satisfactory. So if we were to summarize our experience, the best way would be by answering some basic questions: Did we get a screen enclosure at the end? Yes Did they provide good customer service until the project was completed? Yes Did it meet the expectations that we had when we signed up? No Was the job completed with attention to detail? No Would we do it all over again? No Would we recommend to a friend? Unfortunately, no. read more

They have promised me an install this Friday. Their schedule has lightened up. I still am having nightly visits from raccoons. I can't wait to get the screen up!!! Update: screen installed. Beautiful job. Gorgeous design!! Excellent installation! Still finding slivers of aluminum in my feet from the guys not putting a tarp under their cutting Yard construction. Also paid $150 to electrician to fix an exterior electrical outlet that the guys just knocked aside and broke the wires in it. The outlet was to be inside the pool deck. It's out now. read more

The screen enclosure looks great they did such a good job,that was one year ago then there was a problem in one of the corners I had no idea that a year had gone by I called Dulando and talked to Autumn the office manager and she informed me that a year had gone by and it would be out if warranty, she called me back and said she talked to the owner and he authorized the repairs to be made even though it was out of warranty. I can't comment on their actual work because I couldn't get anyone to call me back to discuss it. Office staff was very nice upon first call, was informed a sales person would call to quote but heard nothing for two weeks. Called again and same nice person informed me that their sales person was on vacation and apologized, assuring me I would get a call. Well, as I'm sure you can imagine reading this review that didn't happen. I hate to say it but it's tough to imagine the work going well and timely if getting an estimation is this hard. read more

I am currently on the market for a pool enclosure. Based on the excellent reviews, I reached out to Dulando on Friday February 11th2022. The representative was very sweet and nice. She assured me that one of the sales people would contact me the same day or latest by Monday. However, no one took the incentive to give me a call. On Wednesday February 16th I connected with another representative and got informed that the sale agents were very busy but was assured that they were still going to contact me that same day. Once again I was ignored! How can I possibly hire someone on a project that doesn't even bother to return my calls from the very start? I had high hopes to find a solid company that I could refer to all of my colleagues. I am disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Horrible job and customer service. My gutters flood my pool deck every time it rains. On the initial installation they left because it was raining and never came back and sealed my gutters. I called many times and they wouldn't call me back and when they did the missed appointments we set. I spoke with the owner and he refused to meet me and even look at my issue. I had done business with his father in the past on two occasions but had a much different experience with him. Instead of simply meeting me and trying to satisfy my concerns they refused even after spending a good amount of money. I highly recommend you do your research and have them finish any job you contract them for before you pay them. Very, very bad experience. My neighbors have commented several times of the water flooding my pool deck when it's raining. read more

Salesman Matthew came out, wrote up a drawing for our screenroom, took the deposit and I could never get him to call back again. Horriable. He was advised he just had a major mold renovation on the side of the house the Screenroom was going, thus the purpose of purchasing a screenroom, to keep everything dry and with gutters. When the building went up, they did not put the roof to the screenroom out to the overhang, as I specifically told Matthew (and he denied). There was NEVER A GUTTER EVEN PUT UP AND THE OTHER GUTTER IS TOO SHORT, WITH NO DOWNSPOUT ONE THE OTHER SIDE. Now for the grand ending. I was just amazed after the first rain. The roof leaked like a waterfall! We called and asked for the owner and NO RETURN CALL. After 2 days, we got a call back saying they would not redo the extension out to the overhang. They would route a gutter. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE. We are getting an attorney. $3,500.00 is a lot of money for us, and guess what...DAY 2 and it rained again and our porch is saturated. I needed a new screened - in patio. I called many other companies before them, but chose Dulando Screen and Awning and I am glad. They were very professional when they spoke with me and their work was awesome. Everything Danny told me happened and he came out a couple of times to measure and make sure of what I wanted done. Other companies that came out tried to sell me a patio that I didn't want and bad-mouthed other companies while pressuring me to sign a contract. Danny never did that and was totally professional. There were 2 men that came out to take down my old patio and 2 men to put up the new one. They all were very nice and knew what they were doing. They did it fast and in a professional manner. I was shocked at how they did it so perfect. They also picked up the mess from the old patio fast and started the new one right away. They swept the patio out when completed. WARNING: Worst contractor that I have ever dealt with in Orlando. I had a project for pavers and enclosure in the backyard in February. We're in an ongoing battle with the owner to get the job completed to our satisfaction three months later. Up until now, owner has been avoiding us for months and will not come to our house to see the poor quality paver job by his subcontractor. Long story short, check BBB website and you will see the complaints because it's way too long to list. Beware! Owner doesn't stand by his warranty, work or keep his promises on any job details. We put a downpayment down, said we were dissatisfied with the work and after letting him know and battling back-and-forth, he still wants us to pay the entire amount before we even see the work completed. Company salesman and subcontractors lack communication skills on job. Absolutely would not recommend this company if you want your job done to your satisfaction and in a timely fashion. read more
