Ordered food yesterday through the Postmates app at 11:22am. Finally, at 12:24, I got notification that my food was being PREPARED. What? I ordered a double decker club sandwich and the pulled pork fries for me and a coworker to split because both of those things are a meal in itself. We finally got it at almost 1pm, an hour and a half after I ordered it. I hope this has something to do with ordering through the app because there's no way I could have gone into the restaurant to and waited a full hour for them to start making the food. I will say the food itself was hot and fresh, and absolutely delicious. We both enjoyed it and would love to order again, and we would pick it up instead of ordering through the app - but only if we knew we would get our food in a reasonable amount of time. read more

This is a great place to get hamburgers. I haven't tried the other items on the menu, but i am sure they are good. The service is good and the staff is courteous. There is seating inside and outside. However, there is not much seating inside. So, if its crowded, you may have a wait. The prices are kind of high. It was around $12 for a hamburger, onion rings, and a drink. read more

We were passing through and decided to get a burger. The food was great hamburgers were really awesome and their o ion rings were the best. Don't know the girls name who served us but she was pregnant and very sweet and helpful. Awesome place to eat small place but it's worth the time to stop and have food. 1st my initial experience was not that good. I called in an order and picked it up. Got home and saw this was not what I ordered. Called the restaurant and a worker took my compliant and said the manager "would make it right!" I returned the next day and the manager/owner met with me and was completely apologetic about the mishap and replaced everything on the house! Ow that the level of customer service that is missing in this day and age! Even with all of that, I have got to tell you -- HANDS DOWN THE BEST CATFISH I HAVE HAD SINCE MOVING TO ALABAMA! If you know me, I am big on food quality, taste and customer service at a restaurant and this place checks all three boxes for me. So if you are ever in Satsuma, AL... stop in at Bay City Grill. Food is always fresh made to order worth the wait and good portion size definitely a good place to stop for a bite with the family

First of all, I do not want to sound naive that things do not happen in other restaurants. However, everything was wonderful up until the point my wife and I were at the counter to pay for our meal. Being that the kitchen is right behind the counter, you can see everything that goes on. We watched the guy that was on the fryer take the basket out of the fryer. One contained chicken and fries were in another. We watched him take and pull the chicken apart with his bare hands to check to see if it was cooked thoroughly. He also used his hands to move the fries around on the pan and place them on the spatula he was using to "plate" them. My wife and I were discussing how much we enjoyed our food while we were eating. But, this might be enough for us not to return. read more

This place was great. Very friendly service. Huge menu!!!! Every sandwich you can possibly want, subs, wings, and gigantic hotdogs. I got the double decker club, it was good but all I wanted was a hotdog after I saw the one brought out for my nephew. My husband got the buffalo wings. Not impressed at all. The best thing was the side salad. My bread was really hard and you could barely find a pepper on my food. No onions. But a butt load of grease. Very nice, clean local restaurant. The menu selection is varied enough that you have a great selection of items to choose from. The burgers seem to be most popular, but the gyro was excellent. Everything is cooked to order so it's very hot and fresh. The staff is very friendly and prompt with keeping the drinks refilled. I definitely would recommend this place. read more

This is a great sandwich place for the area. I love the sweet potato fries, and you can get a side salad instead of fries, which is nice. They do good burgers and the patty melt is a staple lunch for me. I wasn't impressed with the gyro or the salads, but there are enough options to not make this much of an issue. They also need to learn how to make a reuben, the slices of roast beef were a bit on the thick side. read more

Absolutely terrible! It had been a few years since I ate at this restaurant & now I remember why. I ordered a fish sandwich with onion rings & a appetizer of fried pickles for me and my son to share. The fish sandwich was so greasy and soggy it wasn't worth eating, I took one bite & it was horrible. The onion rings were ok, the fried pickles were like the fish sandwich, a soggy, greasy mess! I bit into one & threw the rest away. A McDonald's fish sandwich is far better, which is crazy! I stopped eating here because the food wasn't all that good to start with, but I thought I'd give them another chance. I regret it tremendously! Waste of money, especially when I was able to eat maybe 3 onion rings before throwing it all in the garbage! Eat here if you wish, I won't be wasting anymore money here. I go to Bay City about every two weeks to have their Reuben and sweet potato fries. They are both delicious and I would go more often if my diet would allow. I've only tried one other sandwich there and it was a Hawaiian burger which was nearly as delicious as the Reuben. read more
