I trusted his work and his company name was referred by a reputable contractor. Saber Roofing did an excellent job!  Ryan explained my roof-tile options and had great links to what they look like on real houses through his website. His site also provided information about the roofing process and materials. I waited for his service through winter rain & my own scheduling limitations, and it was more than worth the wait. Ryan's crew were professional, kept the site clean, repaired some rot of my 26-yr-old roof, installing new roof vents that only his company had recommended for safety & energy savings. I had asked for certain areas to be sealed well, preventing any  "creatures' " entrance that he'd agreed needed to be professionally corrected, which his crew did very thoroughly.  Ryan was available throughout the process and got back to me immediately with any questions I had. The contract added the plywood replacement  for the rotted areas, all clearly noted and within the price frame in the contract for unknown rot once the old roof was removed. The total payment was understandable & reasonable. The roof looks great, their guarantee also great. I couldn't be happier with the excellent professionalism, caring & quick communication Ryan's Saber Roofing provided.

Among the details, the rain chain is made of copper while the gutter is made of aluminum. Having these two metals come in contact could compromise the aluminum over time. So, Saber installed the copper rain chain with a protective barrier. 3) Their client service and sales director, Jake, was super helpful and extremely responsive to all my questions. 4) The crew was very efficient, provided high quality workmanship, and left the site spotless. 5) The gutter guards that were installed provide a really fine barrier to prevent even small debris from entering my gutters, but are easy to rinse so that fine particles can be washed through the gutters. 6) The two downspouts that were installed were matched to the color of our trim. Other companies offer limited colors or simply white downspouts, but Saber offers a wide variety. 7) Their pricing is very competitive. From end to end, this was a great experience and I highly recommend Saber Roofing.

Review #1,056 Posted on 5.7.26…read more I've used Tri-City Roofing a bunch of times now as a property manager. Most recently at a house in Union City I manage just this last month in April to do roof repairs & a new gutters throughout. Tri-City is a family owned company that's been around for years. They're extremely organized and have really transparent & good communication skills. Their work is clean, and they do a good job for a very fair price. Vendor reliability is tough for consumers or someone in my position professionally as well, you have lots of people counting on you to get quality work done, at a fair price. I've had great experiences working with the team at Tri-City Roofing.

Tri-City Roofing has been an AMAZING find for our roofing needs. We found out suddenly that our…read moreroof shingles may be failing so Tri-City was our first call. Greg came out very quickly for the initial inspection. He was courteous, honest, and helpful. They gave us their assessment within a few hours of their inspection. We needed a whole new roof. We were in shock but Tri-City helped us understand all of the different aspects of why. We emailed many, many questions. We always got very prompt, detailed responses (sometimes within the hour of sending the email!). When we got the bid, it was very competitive to the other bids we had received. Tri-City's bid though had many more options as well as a breakdown of ALL of the costs. When we signed our contract with them, we felt that there would NOT be any "gotchas" during the project where the contractor would say, "Oh we have to charge you more than we thought". Tri-City gave us the option to go to the roofing supply company, QXO/Al's Roofing Supply, to select which roof we preferred. Jeff at QXO was very helpful and reinforced what a good company Tri-City was to work with. When asked about scheduling, again, Tri-City & their office staff Jeannine and Viviana were super helpful. They were able to get us on their schedule quickly to work around things from our schedule. Once they started working, the foreman Oscar was easy to access and again, very responsive and helpful with our many questions. There were various crews that came at different stages of the total roof replacement. Each of the workers wore Tri-City Roofing shirts, acted professionally and courteously and worked hard the entire time they were here. We were told the project would take @ 3 days to complete. They were completely DONE in TWO days!!!! We were able to take photos and observe the different stages of their stellar work. At the end of each day, the workers made sure the house, garage, & grounds were clean and free of debris. They were very careful about the pets we have as well. When we started this project we were worried and overwhelmed. Once we met Tri-City Roofing and got to know them through our many, many questions via emails and phone calls, we knew that we were in good hands. Tri-City Roofing has the experience you want in fixing or replacing your roof. They have the right crews, staff, and knowledge to help with anything you need regarding your roof. They are competitively priced and is willing to give you options so you can pick what works best for your wallet as well as for the beauty of your home. Our new roof is spectacular! We are confident that this new roof will last us for many years to come. We also know that if we have any concerns regarding our roof, Tri-City Roofing will be there to help and support us. They are in it for the long haul which we very much appreciate. On a scale from 1 to 10, they are a 20+!! Thank you Tri-City Roofing!

I will try to keep this short and sweet, but there is a lot of important details that I want to…read morehighlight about Atlas Roofing. First of all, I called because in the last rain storm we had in the Bay Area, we found evidence in our ceiling of a water spot in the drywall. I searched the yelp and was looking for roofing companies that had at least a four star rating and was quickly intrigued by the five star rating of Atlas Roofing. I called and immediately received a little bit of guidance on the phone and was given an appointment for the next day to have somebody come out and take a look. The next day Dave came out and spent a good amount of time looking on the inside of the house, going through the attic, and walking on the roof itself to look and see if he could find the leak and also to gauge the condition of the roof and the wood foundation underneath the wall roof. I originally was hoping to just repair where the leak was, but after talking to Dave I realize that it would be better to just replace the entire roof. My roof was already 30 years old. Dave gave me clear options to either repair the hole or replace the whole roof, and within that there were several options to choose from in replacing the roof. He carefully explained the process, the amount of time he anticipated the job to take, and what I could expect. Everything that Dave said and explained was 100% accurate. He is professional, knowledgeable, and very good at explaining things in Laymans terms The job started the following Monday. The crew was very efficient, very professional, and worked at an incredible pace. They cleaned up after themselves every day. By the end of the first day, the old roof was off and the wood base was exposed completely. At this time they were able to show me that there was no need to replace the wood underneath the roof. By the end of the first day they had started to place some of the new roof on the backside of my house. Within three days, the entire roof was finished. Dave and his crew handled all of the inspections from the city, pulled all the permits needed, and took care of everything from beginning to end. I could not be more happy with the quality of the craftsmanship, the crew, and of course, the roof. Having a 50 year roof and a piece of mind is important during these times. I did not plan to have to replace a roof (I don't think anybody does) but I am happy that I found Atlas Roofing. I would highly recommend this company. I know a lot of people cut corners and I know a lot of people find a cheap alternative. I truly believe you get what you pay for. I can go on and on about my experience, but I think pictures are worth 1000 words. I wanted to be detailed in this review because most people will only replace a roof once or twice in their lifetime. It's not like we have a lot of resources or experience with this. Dave and Atlas Roofing are worth the time and investment that you put into this. While I hope I never need another roof in my lifetime, I would not hesitate to go through Atlas if that need ever came up in the future.

Full credit to Rodrigo and Lincon, who were on top of things throughout the project. First, they patiently explained the full roofing process to me in detail when I was getting estimates. This was not my experience with some of the other roofing companies who felt rushed or were asking me to cut corners. In contrast, ELM gave me several alternatives before we zeroed on to a torchdown roof. Next, Rodrigo and Lincon were very communicative on our group chat and kept me apprised of the progress throughout, including tons of photos. Rodrigo was also very proactive in dealing with the city for permits as well as clarifications etc, which happened several times since our city is one of the stricter ones. During all this, we had a running clock since we were in contract to sell the house, but Rodrigo and company kept things in motion, sometimes working late hours to ensure completion on time, which we did with several days to spare. It was also very nice of them to talk to my buyers to tell them about the new roof in detail. I was also pleasantly surprised with their integrity. For example, the roofing torch is huge and heavy and accidentally did some minor damage to the house. They fixed it without questions in a very timely manner. They also provided us with a courtesy cleanup inside the house to cleanup roofing debris after demolition. So yeah, thanks to Rodrigo, Lincon, and their crew, we have a brand new roof and siding. They are polite, professional, reasonably priced, great at communication, and clean up well after themselves. Would recommend them 100/100.

So we got in touch with ELM Roofing and had them come out to do an inspection. Lucas was great. He identified the issue quickly, stepped us through what our options were, and kept us in the loop the entire time. He checked the roof out with a drone, since it was too high to run a single ladder up, and we got to watch the neighbor's resident hummingbirds go nuts trying to threaten it away. Evidently hummingbirds hate drones! We had our entire roof and the garage roof replaced, because the builder had cheaped out on underlayment materials and is a pain to get to fix anything under warranty. So, y'know, forget him, but this isn't a review about him. We've got a much tougher underlayment now, all the chipped tiles we had have been replaced, and it is quite honestly better than new now. They did clean work, too. Didn't mess up the yard at all, they were fastidious about noise levels and allowed work times, everything you'd hope a certified contractor would do (but do they? Well...many don't, believe me). Quick and thorough, and when the project got interrupted by rain, they kept us informed about that, too. They came out on a Saturday to get ahead of the weather and even let us know exactly what the local weekend construction ordinances were ahead of time so we'd know what to expect. I think that's what I'd say about them the most: No surprises. They don't do anything unexpected with the final invoice, they don't jerk you around, they don't treat you like you won't understand what they're doing. You're fully in the loop at all times and you're treated as a partner in the project. You get exactly the work and quality promised. And it's good work, with a 20 year guarantee. I'd highly recommend them.

We engaged a roofer to assess several rust-through spots occurring on five long panels. Upon…read moreinspection, the roofer immediately attributed the cause of the rust to the solar installer, effectively deflecting responsibility. However, the evidence does not support this conclusion. Our roof consists of two levels, and we observed rust on several spots across five long panels--many of which are not adjacent to the solar installation. Furthermore, the upper level of the roof, which has no solar panels whatsoever, also exhibits couple similar rust spots. These observations strongly suggest that the rust is not caused by the solar installation but rather stems from a material or manufacturing defect. Despite these panels carrying a 50-year life warranty, the roofer was quick to claim that the rust is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. This is deeply disappointing, particularly given the clear evidence that the damage extends well beyond any area impacted by the solar work. The roofer demonstrated no willingness to help address the issue and offered no solution for the roof leak currently occurring at the lower level. The lack of accountability and absence of any proposed remediation is unacceptable given the scope of the defects observed.
