AAR had the best contract and price after sourcing multiple quotes. We even got the upgraded Solaris shingles by booking by a certain date in October which was awesome because they refract more heat in the summer. We added new gutters on for 4k too. If I had any constructive criticism to offer it would have been to communicate more with the placement on the gutters because we had to have them come back to make a patch and move the gutter to the side because it was better looking on the side of the house rather than a focal point in front. But as promised, they made it right and got the job done with my particular request. Our house looks so much more updated with these Morie Black Landmark shingles, rather than the old terracotta tiles that we had before. I've already referred 3 people to their company and my parents got their roof done by them a month later! It was a bummer they wouldn't honor a referral discount since they said we would have needed a sign out on our lawn to get a discount. Avi, our assigned project manager, was our point person throughout the whole process and was incredibly helpful and patient. We received quotes from Avi for a torch down roof (which looked similar to the TAG roof) and asphalt shingles. While the shingles came with a higher quote, it actually wasn't too much more than the torch down quote. The work was set to start roughly 3 weeks after we received the contract, and my wife and I were back & forth on the roofing materials the entire time. Avi was super patient with us throughout that timeframe, and answered any and all questions that we had regarding the work involved for both options. We ultimately landed on asphalt shingles for roughly 90% of our roof and torch down for a flat section a day before their team was set to start. Fortunately for us, Equinox was super flexible in letting us decide on materials right until the last minute. The work actually started about 10 days earlier than their estimated start date, and I think they finished everything in about half the estimated time! On the first day, they fully removed our old roofing material and hauled that away, applied the underlayment, and started some shingles. On day two, they finished roughly 50% of the work and installed gutters (from their on-site seamless gutter machine) and downspouts. They had to wait for the city inspector to approve their in-progress work was done correctly, but once that happened a few days later, the team completely finished the job by the end of the day. Our new roof looks incredible, and we're so glad we went with Equinox for the job! Highly recommend them if you're in need of a new roof.

It took awhile to schedule everything by Gilbert kept me informed through out the process. The repair team was excellent and also kept me informed throughout the day. The repair person (Hob), took extensive pictures and showed me the before and after of each section repaired. Greg came out very quickly for the initial inspection. He was courteous, honest, and helpful. They gave us their assessment within a few hours of their inspection. We needed a whole new roof. We were in shock but Tri-City helped us understand all of the different aspects of why. We emailed many, many questions. We always got very prompt, detailed responses (sometimes within the hour of sending the email!). When we got the bid, it was very competitive to the other bids we had received. Tri-City's bid though had many more options as well as a breakdown of ALL of the costs. When we signed our contract with them, we felt that there would NOT be any "gotchas" during the project where the contractor would say, "Oh we have to charge you more than we thought". Tri-City gave us the option to go to the roofing supply company, QXO/Al's Roofing Supply, to select which roof we preferred. Jeff at QXO was very helpful and reinforced what a good company Tri-City was to work with. When asked about scheduling, again, Tri-City & their office staff Jeannine and Viviana were super helpful. They were able to get us on their schedule quickly to work around things from our schedule. Once they started working, the foreman Oscar was easy to access and again, very responsive and helpful with our many questions. There were various crews that came at different stages of the total roof replacement. Each of the workers wore Tri-City Roofing shirts, acted professionally and courteously and worked hard the entire time they were here. We were told the project would take @ 3 days to complete. They were completely DONE in TWO days!!!! We were able to take photos and observe the different stages of their stellar work. The roof held Ok for 8 years, but leaked in the south and east corners of our home 2 years ago. Bay 101 made repairs under warranty. It leaked again last year -- and again was repaired. This summer I checked roof condition and found that it now came apart at the west side (photos 1, 2). On top of that, there were bubbles in the middle of the roof. Bay-101 told me that the reason for continued issues is that the material they used poor quality material and switched suppliers. However, the roof is no longer under warranty and I have to pay to replace it. We had to re-roof again! I hired another company to do the job and during the tear-down they found that while framing and insulation was done well, the torch-down material was installed on top of insulation (fire hazard) and also wasn't fully treated (as seen on photos 3, 4 and 5). The new installers told me that another layer of material (i.e. plywood) on top of insulation was needed to ensure torch-down material would hole. This cost me another $3,500 on top of the cost of re-roofing to get the insulation covered. I am not happy with the poor work done on my house by Bay 101 Roofing, to put it mildly!

They pulled off our old roof in a matter of a few hours and put plywood over the entire roof on just the first day. When they left, they cleaned up the yard including using a blower on the driveway, front path, and lawns. Each day of work was the same. The crew arrived early, did a fantastic job, and left the site as clean as when they arrived. In total, the job took a week. What was even more impressive is I knew there was some wood rot that needed repair so had budgeted more than quoted just in case the price went over. Nope. The final price was the exact price quoted.
