When our dog destroyed my grandfather's antique leather chair, you can imagine my heartbreak. The wood was chewed, the arm and seat leather torn. An heirloom was destined for the garbage. But because of their awesome work on other pieces of furniture for us in the past, I stopped by with the chair to see what could be done. This was a gift for my best friend and her husband-to-be. They bought this very, very old couch and we decided to take it off of their hands and get it reupholstered for them so that they could use it as their loveseat at the wedding reception. We gutted the old fabric, the foam, etc and restained the wood ourselves. However, our DIY project came to a halt because we didn't know how to reupholster a couch! Oh, it was a mess! We were only a few months out from the wedding when we found BAY in the local OC area and gave up our project to them, thank goodness. He help me to stay within my budget. He suggested the Fast-Dry cushion and Sunbrella Outdoor Fabric which was perfect for my needs since I did not want to spend time to cover it in the rain or sun. I can't say enough good things about Joe and this entire team. My parents had bought a pair of white sofas a few years ago that they really liked. Than came the grandkids and having white furniture was proven to be a very wrong idea. There were stains everywhere and they had thought about going to purchase new sofas, even though theirs was just badly stained. Through word of mouth, my father got Joe's number. He came over with a lot of samples. I think he ended up coming by their place 3-4 times for them to finalize which fabric they wanted. Once the fabric was chosen, the whole process was so incredibly fast and smooth that I'm still shocked by it. I think from the first day Joe came by with samples to the day the pieces were delivered was less than 3 weeks. He also upholstered several vinyl dining chairs that had definitely seen better days.
