I've contacted them several times over several months since they have doubled my rate. They still have not responded and I have no way to stop the account. I finally spoke with someone and she said my account manager would have to take care of it and he would call me. No call- still paying. They did however respond to my negative review on google. We were one of the routes that was just recently shut down, and I understand those things happen. But the way this company has handled it could not be more disappointing. We were given basically two weeks notice, but they have yet to show up for the last week. They keep telling me they will be here the following day and they never show up. To add insult to injury I still got the final bill which for some reason was sent after my cancellation, and covers weeks well after my cancelation. Now a truck just pulled up empty, looked at my cans and left. This company has clearly taken on more than they can handle and it shows in their work quality and pride. They have zero of either. I am a property manager in Virginia Beach and I am very disappointed with the service experienced with this company. We are supposed to be serviced Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. When they miss a day due to whatever reasons the property, its residents and my staff are detrimentally affected. We've been promised service the next day but then wait half the day before a truck shows up. Now the trash is overflowing and its a mess. There is no attention to this issue, no direct line to supervisor or coordinator. I've been on hold with the company for 15 minutes as "number one" in the queue only to have to leave a message which will lead to no affect (i've left messages before no response). I've been promised credits with no result. Overall I'm considering leaving this company for a different one that promises more direct response, attention to detail and customer service. read more

I had to call for the company I work for many times about my bill that should had been credited back in November 2025 but ended going to collections, but their new system messed our invoice up. I called again 2/17/26 and talked to JASMINE D and she went above & beyond! She left me feeling valued & satisfied with her exceptional effort to make sure this invoice was getting taken care of. Her customer service was excellent and much appreciated!! Service is great in the field to. Terrible service. Scheduled pick ups are consistently missed causing issues for our property and tenants. Pick ups rescheduled for the following day are also missed. Once they finally arrive for pick up Bay Disposal then charges an overage fee for overfilled dumpster due to THEIR MISSED PICK UP. read more

Bay Disposal services Colonial Heritage in Williamsburg. They overlook homes on Brafferton Road. When reported, they usually say that a truck broke down. How many times is their truck breaking down? I am convinced that there is an internal breakdown in communication. Either the driver is unaware or careless or there is considerable turnover in drivers or Bay Disposal is incapable of solving the problem. Our garbage was out for almost a week awaiting pickup during the holidays and now we begin our new year with the same experience and delayed response following promises day after day that they are coming on that very day. Been using Bay Disposal for 2 years with no issues, prices are great and customer service is good. Unfortunately within the past 6 months the driver for Bay Disposal has been leaving my privacy gate wide open, letting it swing around with the wind, which in turn is further damaging the gate. I have called their customer service several times to let them know that their driver is no longer locking the gate back up after disposal and every time I am reassured that it will no longer happen again because they are suppose to lock it back up every time after disposal. I have also left messages(voice and text) to our sales/customer rep with no call back or reply. At this point this is feeling personal, like they are doing this on purpose! I will be looking elsewhere and ending my contract with Bay Disposal, I will never recommend this company to anyone! read more

Bay Disposal is the absolute worst. They placed a dumpster on drain fill days after it being put down. Not to mention that it had yellow tape to let th know that it was somewhere that should definitely not have a dumpster on it. Today I was trying to go to work and the driver had the truck blocking the one way road to get out of our neighborhood. So me and two of my neighbors waited for fifteen minutes because he had caught the dumpster on one of my trees. He proceeded to stay in the road and when he was finally done, he didn't back up for the neighbors to get by ... instead forced his way out while my neighbors had to get out of his way as a thank you for their patience. Now I 100% understand...the first 7 reviews were 1 star...figures. I had called the company and was told a rep would return my call 5 days later and nothing...with caller ID and voicemail...the long time excuse of we called but no one answered cant be used. They are really bad for skipping and never showing up but bill you for the service anyway. NO credits are ever applied to your account, even if they state they will. I would NEVER recommend this company for trash removal but due to the county contracts I'm STUCK calling every dang week for service. read more

I was driving to work today. There were no trash cans out for pick-up. I stopped behind truck #356 at a stop sign. It went straight ahead, and that is where I needed to go so I went straight ahead. They hadn't stopped for any trash cans, because, well, none were out...Then all of a sudden the vehicle stops in the middle of the street with parked cars on both sides of where it stopped, making it impossible to proceed. Two men exited the truck and walked behind one of the homes they were parked in front of. Each returned about a minute later with a trash can. One guy went back for two more, which the other guy emptied them into the truck...They could have easily stopped at a point in the street so traffic could still pass, but the did not. Then they walked the four trash cans back to the back of the house again. There was no need for them to stop and block traffic for five minutes. They could have stopped at another place in the street. They chose note to, and they disrupted traffic. I do not know why they did this, but a more appropriate and positive action would have been to take others on the road into consideration and stop so that traffic can pass, especially when no trash cans were out to be picked up. read more

The Bunny Hutch Boutique and CLIMATES-Rescue, yes a non-profit has had their volunteers lives made MISERABLE due to this company. If they will mess-over a non-profit animal rescue, imagine how much they care about you. We have complained OVER and OVER to our contractor www.Dumpsters.com. After this last year we could no longer take it. We closed our contract. We are moving to another custom built location in 2021. Last week both our recycling and trash were to be picked up. Trash Thursday, 26 December 2019 and recycling Friday, 27 December 2019. We still have full bins right outside! We even postponed clearing our building until the very last day possible. YET almost a WEEK later we still have a FULL trash and RECYCLING BIN. Our non-profit at 1400 hours will be out of our security deposit due to this company and will be taking civil matters against them in 2020. Under NO circumstances use this company. read more

I ordered 1 container, but they charged me for a second delivery which I never requested or received. I called and (after being on hold forever) spoke to a representative who told me the charge was being removed, but I just got another bill for the same delivery. They charge a minimum IN ADVANCE for 2 tons regardless of how much you actually your stuff weighs. I told the driver exactly where I wanted the container, but he didn't put it there. read more

How frustrating! I called on Friday to get service started after moving to a new home, I was told that I would get a return call within 24 hours, so after I got no response yesterday, I called again today, I literally had to call 4 times before someone picked up, then when they picked up they transferred me to a voicemail. I then called back and explained, then they transferred me to a human, I then setup my service and was told a price (come to find out all of my neighbors are paying a cheaper price and I would like to know why). I then call back a few times (again and get no human) then I call back a final time and it plays hold music for 16 minutes and no one picks up and then I'm transferred to a voicemail to leave another message. I want to make this clear, I run a business for a living and this is HORRIBLE customer service. If I had another option where I lived, I would go with them EVERY TIME! I have spent almost 1.5 hours on the phone today out of my day trying to reach somebody. read more
