Called yesterday afternoon and was immediately to connected to Edgardo. Told him I had some furniture to dispose of, but was also concerned about having someone come take away the satellite dish from the roof of my apartment, along with it's cabling. I texted him some photos and we made an appointment for 9am today to come take a look and give estimate. Price was fair, considering all the labor involved in disconnecting the dish. He was on time (no appointment window). We came to terms and he and his worker were back within 30 minutes to get to work. About 90 minutes later it was all done. These guys are great. After clearing out my backyard from garbage from the former tenants, we scheduled a garbage pickup by recology. Of course they were terrible and didn't pick up all of our items. After hauling everything out to our front lawn and not having it all picked up, we called Bay Junk. They were nice and friendly and said they could pickup same day! What a relief. The service by the crew was extremely efficient and professional, and they were able to move 4 extremely large home appliances (including a treadmill), and random kitchen appliances, in under 45 minutes. They were very careful to not scratch the hardwood floor and even though some of the appliances were on wheels, they still carried them to ensure the safety of our floors. They were also less expensive than other places that we tried calling and gave us a detailed estimate over the phone, since we messaged them pictures of the items beforehand, and promised not to raise the quoted price. They also allowed us to do price matching if we found somewhere cheaper, although they were still the cheapest. They were also very efficient in communications (unlike other places), and texted us back immediately with a quote after we sent them pictures. They also allowed same day haul-away, on weekdays, if we requested. I would definitely use their services, and recommend them to other people, again for large haul-away items. read more

These guys were amazing. They came prepared as I told them the number of large items needing to be junked. I filled up the equivalent to one truck and they only charged an additional $50 for the extra labor to disassemble the items in my home, no matter how long it took. The junk rate was very competitive to the other two junk removers I've used in the past which I was not satisfied with due to both cost and not being prepared with the space to haul my "junk." Lastly, it's still a family run business and these guys are really personable. Since I also scheduled a free "Bulky item" removal from our garbage company, I had remaining a coffee table, sofa and a large CRV TV on the second floor and they offered to help bring it down to the garage so that it could just be pushed out when needed. He was competitively priced and showed up when he said he would (though no text ahead of time). Once he saw the junk in person, the price went up, because, in part, he couldn't tell from the picture that the stove was made in 1951 and therefore heavier than a more modern stove.
